This oil smells good and is very lightweight so its perfect for the summer. I did expect more shimmer/glow from the oil. It does give a very subtle shimmer, I will layer this with other products for the full glow look I am looking for. I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate me which was a huge plus as it’s hard to find a product that has a good scent but doesn’t cause a reaction. Overall for $8 and the size I probably wouldn’t purchase again.

I LOVE putting this product in before going to the beach or lake. My skin glistens, looks fresh and shiny and smells wonderful.The shimmer is beautifully subtle and the fragrance is really nice. There is a slight tint, but I wouldn’t consider it a self-tanning product.My only complaint would be a mild oily/greasy feel. After about 30 minutes, it either soaks in or I forget about it.I am a white female and was a little hesitant to try this product because it appeared to be marketed for African American skin color.I am fairly tan, so it worked great. I think this product could be used by ANY skin color successfully.Will be ordering my next one before my current one runs out.

Luxurious formula, not sticky and smells great. It is a great base layer for building up on perfumes. It seems greasy at first but it sinks into the skin and leaves a glowy finish. It is not as bronzing as it looks though but I love it regardless. It has shimmer too!

ew on this product is a mixed one; I have use “Illuminate Me” prior to this order and although I would like a more bronze effect, I knew what to expect. But what I didn’t expect was for whom ever packaged this item to be so cavalier about how it would weather through the shipping! So, the Pros: it arrived in a timely fashion and I will ask “Alexa” to thank the driver. I love the aroma of this shimmering body oil, and lastly a little goes a long way. Now, the Cons: when I removed this from the box, I was immediately cut. (See above photos)It’s not worth the headache of trying to return it, however it should be duly noted that this should have been packaged with care. Come on guys, all you needed was a bit of bubble wrap and problem solved! Since this was sent directly from the warehouse; you should be addressing quality control because I have read in previous reviews about the same issue. I love the “Vaseline Cocoa Radiant” line but I think I will stick to trying to find it in a store. At least I won’t be bleeding. Ouch.

y wasn’t expecting much, but my goodness! This oil glides right on, and it smells AMAZING. It has the perfect amount of shimmer and is very beautiful on the skin. I usually get body butters from B&BW that has shimmer, but the smell can be a bit much if I’m just heading to bed. I’m getting another bottle and pairing this with the Vaseline Illuminate body butter sold here too. You won’t be disappointed, I promise!

vine. I have always been a firm believer in you get what you pay for. However, this is not the case with this amazing product. I have tried many shimmers from high ticket to low budget and this one beats them all hands down. You can put it all over your body and face. It smells amazing. It is not heavy and just glides on your body like a light oil. It gives to perfect glow and dewy look with a spread of shimmer and glitter. Vaseline has been around for decades, and I always stand behind it their products. Very impressed with this line. Buy it, you will love it.

ention my melanated sisters if you want to get the pretty brown girl glow on this summer then this is the product. Moisturizes without leaving you feeling greasy. Gives you a glow but will not leave you shiny. The scent is undetectable. Don’t buy one buy two!

I bought this product thinking it was going to be very shimmery and in the bottle it looks very shimmery but when you apply it on your skin the shimmer is barely even there.Definitely a lot more oil than shimmer and yes I tried shaking it to help mix the product up to no avail. On the plus side it is very moisturizing and it smells divine.So In summary if you’re looking for a lot of shimmer this may not be the product for you but if you are mainly just looking for a moisturizing oil then this may work for you.I have provided pictures of what it looks like in the bottle as well as what it looks like applied on the skin (rubbed in) and I even left a drop of the product undisturbed (not rubbed in) so that you can see what it looks like outside of the bottle.

y favorite thing about this is the scent. Smells of cocoa. The shimmer isn’t that strong, but the moisturizing oil really rehydrates your skin. On the bottle, there’s also a recommendation for getting the “whipped body butter” and putting this on afterwards.
