Thought this would be good for Auto and other electronics projects. When I opened it I tested it on my laptop power supply, 19.5 VDC & 3.3A max. I got the correct voltage reading for a moment, fluxuated for a moment, then no reading at all. The power supply went into a over-current condition then cut off. I did reset after a few minutes of being unplugged. So the tester must have been drawing more that 3.3 Amps just testing the voltage. I cant see this tester being useful for any low power circuit testing but great for Auto testing. I took off the 1 star because it is NOT good for “also for testing other 3-72v DC wirings and circuits.”The product is well made and seems to be a quality product. – It would have been nice if it came with a case to put it in.
