This device is incredible !We have Pet Safe invisible dog fence.It was a real pain in the .. if the underground wire is damaged.We bought this device, with some doubts, but after 2 minute of use … we found the “leak”.VERY EFFICIENT, a must have if you have a Pet Safe dog fence

Used this to find the old invisible fence for the dog. Found the break in the wire and was also able to trace the wire around the entire yard. Worth the money.Only issue I had was with the ear plugs that come with the unit. Cheap and woul not stay in my ears, so just used my own ear plugs.

Someone please tell me why we waited so long to buy this. We have an invisible dog fence wrapped around our farm that constantly get damaged by the tractors. Imagine trying to guess where the break is every time. We even reran the wire one time before we bought this.Like others have said it does take a minute to learn how to use it but it has saved us so much time and money.

Purchased device to locate and detect break in underground dog fence. Device appears cheaply made and operates at same quality. Output signal not as strong as described and receiver not of high quality. Was able to locate line, however needed to relocate transmitter, to several different locations, for accuracy in detecting/locating break in line.

This was well worth buying. I used it to find multiple breaks in my invisible dog fence. It doesn’t point you to the exact spot of the break, but the noise gets very weak and dies a couple of yards before the break. Good enough to help you find the line and then carefully dig along it until you find where it broke. I have 15 acres, and the signal got very weak the further along I went, but it almost made it half of the perimeter. Very pleased. I also liked that this model didn’t have the rechargeable battery. I hope I won’t need it again for a while, and a rechargeable battery could be useless after a couple of years with no charging.

Instructions were great and easy to follow. We purchased to trace irrigation control valve wires that are 18-24” below grade. The sensor was not able to find 80% of our wiring.

I was leery after reading the negative review. I needed to find one end of my invisible dog fence wire at the far end of my property where I know the wire is broken. A tree went down in the winter, roots pulled up the wire, and then I hit the wire with the mower in the spring. I found one end but couldn’t find the other. I dug and dug trenches all over to no avail. Rented a metal detector but it didn’t pick up copper. Ordered this wire locator in desperation. I found the wire end within 10 minutes. Whoever posted the negative review saying no signal after 200 feet clearly did something wrong. My wire break was 1000 feet from the invisible fence transmitter and this thing found it with ease. My wire is only 1″-2″ deep in the ground. I duno if this will go 2500 feet as advertised, but it made 1000 feet with ease. For a cheap wire locator from China, this is pretty darned good. Better than paying $600 for a Greenlee/Tempo cable locator. Definitely recommend it and will look out for other Rocky Mars / Noyafa products when need.
