Seat is good but only has rod support on the 2 ends. When you sit on the seat it flexes down in the middle of the front of seat.Still a great deal and works well.Looks great compared to old seat.

My John Deere X320 mowers seat doesn’t sit out in the sun and weather BUT after 6 years of about 5 hours a week, the seat cracked in several places. Now, I bought a cover for it with pockets in the back and went about my business BUT eventually the cracks widened and pretty soon I noticed the right side padding was lower then the rest. I have some hills that I only mow leaning on that side.I bought this seat after watching some reviews and install videos. And it’s as simple as pulling the retaining pin, pulling the old seat out and putting the new seat on. You’ll want to twist and pull out the old seat sensor and put it on the new one. You should probably do this before pulling your seat. Mine has been unplugged and jumpered for years BUT I recently started training my grandkids to mow and having the blades stop moving and the mower shut off when they decide that bees are too scarey to hang around a mower on is comforting. I had little comfort slowing a greens mower while going down steep hills by holding back pressure on the drive selector so as not to have a runaway mower and loose my job, leg or life. Kids today are soo soft! ;-)Then I put a new cover on and hopefully that will keep this seat good for even longer then the original assuming the transmission on it will last another 10 years.

Transferring the Deere decal was as easy as I’ve seen it described in other reviews, so was installation, and this seat looks perfect and really does feel more substantial than the original seat it’s replacing. Couldn’t be more satisfied.
