Definitely works! I wore it under the Las Vegas sun/heat and it protected me so much. No burns and no tan lines. Great product.

If you like the tropical smell of sun tan lotion, but In a sunblock instead, you have got to try this! It smells soooooo good!

I used this on a cruise in July to the carribean, laying by the pool and three beach excursions. Never got sunburned, the scent was pleasant.

Like many people, I don’t like greasier suntan lotions. I rarely swim and don’t often lay out in the sun; if I’m putting on suntan lotion it’s generally because I’m hiking, walking, working, or maybe fishing. This means I’m moving quite a bit and wearing equipment or clothing, and in both cases greasier lotions tend to make their presence known. As such, I prefer something which isn’t so oily.First, I tried Skin Aqua, a Japanese suntan lotion. I mostly used the gold variety, and found that to be pretty close to perfect, you can hardly tell that you are wearing it after 10m or so. The non-gold version is also pretty good, but slightly oilier. However, both did seem not to last quite as long as other suntan lotions I’ve tried, even if they did well enough. They are pretty expensive, so maybe I was being too conservative with the quantity of lotion used.Sun Bum is a great deal, and I heard it wasn’t too greasy, so I decided to try it. It is true that it’s much better than most lotions I’ve tried, with the exception of some spay-on varieties which are specifically marketed as being dry. It was also completely effective, stopping me from getting any sorts of burns whatsoever. It has a strong, but not overpowering, traditional suntan lotion smell to it. It does burn if it gets into your eyes on account of heavy sweating, but I think all lotions are like that.Basically, while I’d recommend trying Skin Aqua first, this is strong second place.

My mom is red head, I am not, but I burn like she does. The 70 Sun Bum spf seems to help me not get sun burnt at all or at least as bad.Layered with 70 spf all over, then rest of the day reapply with spray on spf every hour.

Love it! Great for flying/traveling. Fits right in the TSA liquids bag. I burn sooo easy (redhead) and hardly burnt at all with this. Even when in the ocean! Funny story.. I wore this product while snorkeling and forgot to sunscreen my butt because I was wearing shorts when I applied it. I get back to the hotel and my entire butt is burnt red but the rest of my body was perfectly fine. Definitely will buy again!!

I wore this sunscreen on an overseas trip where we were in the direct sun for hours at a time, sweating and hot. This sunscreen is so moisturizing and smells great and never ONCE did I get burned which is a record for me. I sweat a lot and didn’t sweat this stuff off, and reapplied often. I have sensitive skin and this never irritated or made me feel itchy or uncomfortable. Highly recommended!

This is our favorite quality sunscreen. After trying many different brands of sunscreen over the years for our fam’s sensitive skin, we are so pleased with and impressed by Sun Bum! It applies so well, and it offers strong protection. We have had no sunburns this summer even on long hot days, and for us, that’s saying something. I am happy with the ingredients, and it also smells amazing, which is a bonus!

We spent a month in Curacao in June. We were at the beach and in the water almost every day. I didn’t get a single sunburn when using Sun Bum 70. I’m not excessive in my application: once in the morning and once after lunch, regardless of how much time I spend in the water. Like all other sunscreens, if you get it in your eyes, it will irritate them for awhile. I’ll definitely use this the next time I’m going to the beach.

I don’t know much about it but my daughter loves it. She says it does not cause white pasty tacky face, and when you’re 24 and trying to stay cute while preventing sunburns and skin cancer, apparently this is the thing to use.I will agree on this, it is not super thick and pasty… and it smells really good.

This sunscreen is amazing! I am very fair skin and I didn’t burn using this product. It was a hard find after bill frog was not available in stores. Skin looks healthy and not greasy.

Bought this for a trip to Hawaii because it’s reef safe. Fell in love with how the lotion feels and works. I am fair skinned, I applied all over before a pool day in Hawaii. Reapplied to shoulders, back and face once and no burns!

I’m always looking for sunscreens that are both good for my skin and the environment, and I’m so glad I found Sun Bum. It’s vegan and reef-friendly, which means it’s free of harmful chemicals that can damage coral reefs. It also has a broad spectrum SPF 30, so it provided excellent protection from the Turks & Caicos extreme sunshine. I love the way this sunscreen feels on my skin. It’s lightweight and non-greasy, and it doesn’t leave a white cast. It’s also water resistant, so I can reapply it less often when I’m swimming or sweating.I highly recommend this sunscreen to anyone who is looking for a safe and effective way to protect their skin from the sun while staying true to eco-friendly purposes.

I’ve gotten burnt every year at the beach. Ocean Potion was very good too but Sun Bum was the best. No one got burnt. Smells great and stays on longer. Love Sun Bum . Eco friendly

We bought Sun Bum to take on a cruise to the Southern Caribbean. It’s very lightweight, goes on smoothly and I did not burn once during our 8 day cruise, and I have very fair and sensitive skin. This is my second bundle purchased in the past 6-8 months and it’s all I will use! Living in Florida it’s a must! Love that it’s reef friendly too.

We bought this sunscreen because we couldn’t find Ocean Potion – We use their lip balm and the sunscreen goes on well.. Smells great to 👍🏻

The cream spreads nicely, a little goes a long way. As advertised, it did not break my skin out. But I did not use it on my back, I am but one.1 bottle should last a full season , unless increased time in sun is desired. Then two containers. Happy sunning.

ob, packaging needs improvement. Sunscreen protects my sensitive skin well and it appears for longer periods of time than other brands I used. Bought it mostly because it claims it is reef safe. It is a bit thicker than your store bought screens when you apply it. The only downside is the packaging which deteriorated after a little while. Now i get plastic or paint all over my fingers when touching the bottle. Would expect a better packaging for a higher priced sunscreen.

I originally bought this because my daughter went on antibiotics and creams for acne, which made her hyper sensitive to the sun. I started wearing it also when we would go on all day motorcycle rides. Not once did she get sun burnt with it, nor did I. It is not streaky or oily feeling. There is no strong order when applying it. It didn’t stain any of our clothing.

un block!. Sun Bum smells and works great. It is my favorite sun blocker so far and I have bought many brands. You can apply this brand easily and it washes off when you are at the end of the day. No white residue. I always apply a 50 and still get a tan! I really trust this brand. It is good stuff.

I got this Sun Bum pack for a tropical vacation. I’m very fair (read: very burnable) and have sensitive skin that reacts to almost everything. This sunscreen has a pleasant coconut scent and feels much thinner than other sunscreen so it felt like putting on regular lotion. It’s easy to apply and feels moisturizing. It doesn’t just sit on top like other sunscreens. I applied this sunscreen once every 4 hours in the sun (every 90min at the beach) and didn’t burn at all, which is miraculous for me. I did pair it with Sun Bum Face Sunscreen as well to avoid breakouts.

I have an olive complexion but super sensitive skin (I have to wash with an olive oil and salt scrub because anything else makes me break out in a rash or burn). This sunblock didn’t make my skin sting like a lot of other brands do.You must remember to shake the bottle before applying since the mixture settles out a bit, and you’ll get separation, wasting product. It’s also nice to find a 50 spf that smells like “fun” (similar, but not identical to Hawaiian Tropics in smell). Gives me flashbacks to summers past, carefree days on the beach 🙂
