I sized up half a size as the reviews stated and my shoes fit perfect! I have not had any issues with skin chafing or peeling. I wore these for a wedding for 6 hours with no complaints. I did wear a skin tone bandage across my big toe where the shoe material meets my skin. Not sure if this helped me not have slip issues or what but I love these shoes and are a must have in any closet!
