I purchased this to go with my PowerProbe 4. I have only good things to say about it. I use it every time I use my PP4 to diagnose a car. The leads are made very well, and I like the different lengths. The adapters and probes that come with it are very useful. If you’re on the rope deciding whether to go through with it or not; do it. I assure you, you’ll be glad you did. It makes using the PowerProbe much easier. I just used it to 2 days ago with my PP4 to diagnose a fuel pump in an 05 Dodge 1500, and the long piercing probe made what was an almost impossible connection to make, fairly easy. I would have had to lower the tank some without it. Of course I threw some liquid electrical tape on the wholes afterwards, when I replaced the pump. Adam.

This is great product for your home use or shop use. This helps you test wire circuits without cutting and splicing the wires. Great build quality.

This box is just full of options I found some good reviews on YouTube and I’ve been intending to wait until I upgrade to the Power Probe 4 to get this set but I’m glad I went ahead and got this. The probe tip came in handy immediately replacing a worn top on my Power Probe 3. The yellow piercing probe worked flawlessly in verifying power to a starter solenoid and the adapters on the left allowed me to plug this directly into the snap on leads going to the labscope to verify a voltage spike and this is all one vehicle. This set is going to get some serious mileage from me and if it holds up anywhere near as good as my other power probe equipment you can count me as one happy customer.

For this level of quality you would expect to pay about twice as much. Of course this is why Power Probe is so widely used and respected. If you are thinking of buying a couple of more back probes, just buy this kit and get all the extras.

I bought these mainly because I was trouble shooting a wiring problem in a delivery van and I was using t-pins at the aldl connector and my supervisor was not impressed with my crude technique. So I mainly bought these to make him happy, but I find myself using them all the time now. The main use I find is when troubleshooting intermittent/corroded connections. I clip my power probe to the parts’ power wire so that the probe tone will sound. Then I wiggle the connectors, fuses, wiring, and relays till the ring goes away and I eventually find the fault rather quickly. Also I can remote apply power under cab over engines from the drivers seat for a/c testing and shut-off solenoid diagnosing. It also works well as a remote starter in a pinch.
