I’ve been using this mouse for almost a year, working from home full-time, so it gets a lot of use. Overall, it functions well—smooth tracking, comfortable design, and easy to set up. However, the major downside is how quickly it drains batteries. In less than a year, I’ve had to replace the batteries more than three times. The mouse also tends to get a bit laggy toward the end of the battery life, which makes it hard to predict when it will give out. If you’re okay with constantly swapping batteries, this is a solid mouse, but be prepared to keep extra batteries on hand.

This is the 3rd one of this design that I have purchased. They all have worked great and are molded perfectly for my hand. The only reason that I have had 3 of them is because I now have 3 separate computers. in the house. They have handled several drops in the past and keep on working so far.

This mouse is easy to use and has good features for my use. I’m a programmer/developer and use the shortcuts on this mouse to quickly cycle between applications. I also use the scroll wheel clutch often to quickly scroll to the bottom of long pages of code. The battery life for a single AA battery is really good. I change batteries once every 9 months.I own 3 of these now. I have one in two different offices as well as one at my home office. While I could take one with me instead of having three separate mice, I would likely forget it at home.I would definitely recommend this mouse.

I have enjoyed Logitech’s M705 mouse for many years (2014 was my first). I have enjoyed the easy feeling it gives me and the smooth behavior since I do a lot of small detail work. In the last 6 months I began to have difficulty with my old mouse and thought it was due to interference from a laptop. I took the chance on buying a new M 705 and have been rewarded with the excellent performance I used to get. No interference, just the old mouse was not performing. I am happy that I chose to stick with the Logitech product. I know it, and expect I will get another 10 years out of this one. Small detail is back!

First one purchased the M705 , it turned out to be defective. It would start scrolling on its own when in rapid scroll mode. Logitech said to return it. Next was the M510, it was noticeably smaller, too small and was returned. Then finally after a long wait received the M720 mouse. This one is working as it should, no ghost scrolling. It is very comfortable in the hand, the scroll wheel is comfortable as well. The wheel is flat on top with a rubber strip for comfort and grip. The rapid scroll is very useful if you look at alot of documents. You can also push down on the scroll wheel until it clicks. This mode will automatically scroll the page as you slightly move the mouse down or up. I am liking this mode best. The clickers work well to. Very ergonomic fit and feels well made. The M720 only uses one battery and clams long life. I’ve used Logitech in the past and was surprised at dip in quality, but this one is a good one.

I absolutely love this mouse! I currently own two, and one of them has lasted around 5 years – the battery life alone is incredible, easily lasting over 3 years. The mouse is really smooth and comfortable to use, with satisfying clicks that aren’t too loud or annoying. It has a decent weight, but the design fits perfectly in my hand, making it easy to move around. The black matte color adds a sleek touch. Plus, installation is a breeze – just plug in the USB, and it connects instantly to any desktop or laptop!

I’ve been using a Logitech M510 for years. They have been decent but the scroll wheel has died on each and every one of them. I have 4 of them now that I’ve collected over a 5-6 year period. I should open one of them up to see what’s inside. At any rate I decided to try the next step up and see if it has a better scroll wheel. The sensor on this one is in a different place, it’s clear to the right under your palm. That is a little different but it didn’t take long to adjust. It is also a little smaller than the M510 which isn’t good because my hands are large but it’s still an acceptable size. Not too small. I am afraid to spend more money on a mouse because in the past when I spent high, the mouse still went kaput. The best optical mouse I ever had was a microsoft. It was ugly red and white but it lasted and lasted till I threw it away for being grubby looking. I love Logitech mice I just wish they lasted longer. This one is fantastic out of the box.

I got this mouse for use at work, I originally had a corded mouse, I’ve used corded mice for everything for a long time due to lagging/latency on other wireless mice I’ve had when gaming, but for work I figured wireless would be fine. So far though I’ve had 0 lag issues, even when I occasionally game with it.I use the dongle, so I don’t know about the bluetooth connectivity or swapping it between bluetooth devices, but with the dongle I’ve had no issues.I personally like mice with more weight and this one definitely is a bit heavier and it’s big enough for my hands (I have bigger hands). The other reason I got this mouse was for the fast scroll wheel setting, I have it on my G502 at home and I really missed having it at work, and the scroll wheel on this one is great! The side buttons are fantastic for productivity, I have two side buttons for back one page and forward one page, and the thumb buttons for tabbing out. The buttons are satisfying to click, and are honestly just fantastic. So far no quality issues with the mouse whatsoever. All of my logitech products have held up very well over the years, and while I haven’t had this mouse super long, It’s been excellent so far, and with my previous experience with logitech products, I expect this mouse will last me a long time.10/10 great office mouse, exactly the office mouse experience I wanted. If you need side buttons like I do, if you need that speedy scroll wheel, and if you like a bit of a heavier mouse, this is the mouse for you.

Got this mouse to replace a MOBA mouse (a mouse with a ton of side buttons with programmable functions) in a kind of leap of faith. I am very used to things like media controls, auto-clicking, and forward/back being all located conveniently on the side of my mouse. This usually needs the boatload of buttons specialized MOBA gaming mice have, which can narrow the selection of mice down a lot. This mouse doesn’t have all those buttons, but it does have an ingenious gestures button which basically puts the functionality of five buttons into one. Combine this with some decent software (Logi Options), this mouse is very customizable. It works great when gaming and feels great in my average sized hands. Its build quality feels nice and frankly this mouse is hard to beat for the price.

I bought this as I needed a WFH mouse that could connect to my Macbook Pro without breaking the bank. I read great reviews on this product and I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. This mouse may be affordable but it does everything you want it to do for your Mac.First off, it has tons of customizing which allows you to assign it to gestures which you would normally use with the Mac trackpad (swipe left/right, access mission control/launchpad, etc). For example, I use the scroll wheel which can click left and right to swipe screens. The software which you use with this mouse is also great as it lets you customize everything just the way you want. On top of that, it lets you set the scrolling direction to be normal when using the mouse and reverse when using the trackpad. For some reason, Mac does not let you choose this within itself and most users who don’t use Logitech’s software have to download a 3rd-party software. This was a big plus for me.Overall, I would recommend this mouse to anybody who needs a work mouse for their Mac. I would NOT recommend this mouse for gaming as it is heavy and not ideal.

This mouse lasts FOR EVER. I never actually turn it off and each mouse lasts about a year on a single AA battery. The bluetooth swapping between computers is spectacular, and connects nearly immediately when switching PC’s.The only reason I ordered a third, is because I gave one to my mother, and one to my wife, so I wanted another for myself so we can both use one simultaneously. Not a single one has broken, yet, so we’ll see how long they last. The first one I bought was about 4 years ago, and it’s still kicking though!

This mouse easily replaced almost all of my spare mice lying around. It’s all wireless and has the capability to pair to three different computers – one by a USB receiver (comes in a storage compartment in the mouse) and two by Bluetooth. You can switch between them all with the click of a mouse, so it works super well if you’re using a versatile workstation. The mouse also has a few great features too. The scroll wheel has a button on it that lets it spin freely or in a fixed way. This makes scrolling through long websites, code, or anything else an absolute breeze and its definitely boosted my productivity. There’s also an extra button at the bottom of the curve where your thumb would be. You can use the Logitech applet call “Logi Options+” to adjust that as well as many other buttons and features on the mouse.Overall, very happy with my purchase. I carry this mouse with me everywhere now and it helped me replace such unnecessary clutter all while making my work more efficient.

I acquired this mouse for my laptop and I am using now. I have always bought Logitech for my trackballs and mice with their quality in the past and present seem quite good. This mouse has some disappointing features however. First, most of the laptop makers have switched to USB C for connection. The mouse comes with USB A and you need an adapter. Second, there are a total of three buttons on the mouse. Two near the thumb area and one on top. The one on top controls the scrolling wheel. Hitting that button by accident changes the scrolling from a more freestyle scrolling to a notched scrolling. I have become accustomed to use the notched scrolling as I can feel when I am changing the scrolling as opposed to the freestyle scrolling. I would like to render the top button inert and switch to one of the thumb buttons for scrolling adjustment. There doesn’t appear to be a way to do that from the documentation that accompanies the mouse and support page from company is sparse as well. So changing the buttons is a problem that needs addressed by Logitech.

holeheartedly recommended. after some months of use:the proprietary RF connection is rock solid: never any stutter, never any wake-up delay i had noticed. i never used such good RF mouse before, it is just perfect. the bluetooth mode i’ve used less, but didn’t notice any issues either. battery seems to be holding fine; i wouldn’t mind 2 swaps per year for this level of excellent performance.size and weight are just right. i know the rubbery coating will fade in time, and this is the only issue i have with the design. i think there is planned obsolescence at work here. when buying, i tried to find a alternative for this one reason and i couldn’t find one with all the features i wanted and at the right price.side scrolling center-button wheel, plus 3 extra buttons is all i needed. i use 2 buttons for VOL+/VOL- and one for ALT-TAB. the metallic heavy wheel can coast during long scrolls and is definitely a plus.the USB RF “receiver” dongle can pair with up to 3 Logitech devices, which is a plus for some. (i use backlighted mechanical keyboards; so wired keyboards for me, thank you. i also worry about my passwords being broadcasted over RF using a non-peer-reviewed fatally flawed encryption algorithm.)no cables and no charge docks is exactly what i wanted for the mouse. even if a mouse had Qi wireless charging, i’d still object to needing the mat… unless they fitted the device with a huge Li-Ion cell and i could charge it not more than twice yearly, which will never happen because Li-Ion cells are not that cheap. (but it would be easy for me to do some hacking and replace the cell.) so for now, single AA battery is the way to go.all in all, this product surprised me for not having any rough edges. an i am very, very picky.bottom line: buy it!

n? I think so … so far. Okay … I love the mouse. Bought one 14 months ago and had to replace it 3 months ago owing to the NOTORIOUS LOGITECH DOUBLE CLICK. Now the new one is DOUBLE CLICKING! In just 3 months!Researching online identifies two approaches: Opening the mouse and fiddling with the innards (No Thanks!) versus blowing under the two mouse keys to (supposedly) dissipate a build-up of static electricity. Now, it strikes me that blowing under the keys to dissipate static sounds as reasonable as believing in copper wristbands, magic crystals and unicorns. Still, I tried blowing under the keys despite knowing that it had to be nonsense.HOT DANG! IT WORKED! How? Why? Don’t know. Will this fix last? Don’t know. Why does it work? Don’t know. I’ve been through a half-dozen programs and search engines where the problem tortured me and can’t find any problem at all!The online claim was that the moisture in our warm breath would allow the excess static charge to discharge. The implication is that the static charge had built over time and depressing the button caused two signal releases: One by the mechanical depression of the button and the second by a near-simultaneous discharge made possible by the reduced distance from the underside of the button and the receiving Omron switch.Of course, it might not be a problem of static field build-up. I’d imagine that there is also a possibility that microscopic dust could build and trigger a redundant signal when the gap between the mouse button and the Omron sensor is reduced. Either way, blowing could be the simplest way to stop the problem.Okay, the double click problem might be survivable, but it is still a black mark on Logitech in respect of product engineering, product testing and their lack of response to so many customers who have been plagued by this common problem.

n is spectacular. I purhcased this device for its compatibility with multi-device setups. The device itself was able to connect to my three devices being:Windows Desktop, Linux Laptop, Raspberry piFor my connections I am using the bluetooth feature. There is the option to use the initial usb connector. When using the connector device responsiveness when switching workspaces in increased.NOTE: The delay between switching devices (Using thumb button) is approximatley 3-5 seconds and it is very important to note that this tended to vary every time since the connection is dependent on the computer searching for the mouse too.Device:The mouse itself is standard size and has a good amount of weight to it, this could be explained by the recievers . The Desk pads(for sliding) are triangular and I have had no issues with them whatsoever.I am using this directly on a wooden desktop.Wheel scrolling offers two options:1. Standard scrolling : Notched inserts that allow for single line scrolling (Which can be adjusted inside your own coputers settings)2. Free roll : The wheel freely rolls on a bearing for long page surfing or zooming. The bearing inside the mouse is incredibly smooth and quiet. The mouse has three “other” buttons that act as super keys and depending on your operating system, they can be customised WITH setting adjustments. My personal thoughts:For my application this mouse is everything I needed, I personally paired it with Logitechs 3 way Keyboard that does the same thing, and has made my workstation incredibly effecient and organized. In the event that this device breaks I will defiently purchase another.

odity mice. I own a number of Logitech mice, and have been buying them for many years, going back to the early 1990s. They’ve always been the best quality and design. I really do like this mouse, but it’s not without a few issues. For one, the scroll wheel is too loose feeling, and not of the same quality as previous left/right/middle button scroll wheels on the other Logitech mice I’ve owned. The build quality of this feature really does need to be improved even if it means raising the price 20 bucks. The other issue is the forward/backward buttons on the side are too close to the device switcher button. This is a major design oversight, and what happens during usage is you’ll accidently hit the switcher button, and deactivate the mouse! This is a button that should (and is on some models) be on the bottom of the mouse! This issue also kind of breaks the usability of the mouse for someone who doesn’t understand it. They press the device switch, and the mouse just stops working. For someone like my mom with mild cognitive impairments, this is a deal breaker. This device switch can’t be deactivated either. Logitech designers, please do put buttons like this near frequently used controls. Really, I don’t understand how this feature got through design review. If design reviews are challenging to your company, please contact me, and I’ll review it for free. The other issue isn’t really with the mouse itself, it’s the Logitech Options software on MacOS (Ventura). I have a 2017 MacBook Pro with the latest software. The Logitech Options mouse software frequently unloads or crashes after taking the laptop out of standby and has to be restarted. Even when it is running, it will lose the customer settings, scroll wheel settings, and mouse sensitivity settings. It’s bad, and requires constant restarting or coaxing. Being software, I do hope Logitech fixes these bugs, but as of today, the software is junk and makes the mouse a pain to use, but is not a deal breaker. I use it anyway, and just deal with the software issues. The mouse itself works well in bluetooth mode, (even on an Apple) is fairly comfortable, and has decent ergonomics. I would prefer a larger mouse because my hands are large, but I guess that’s my problem. Other than the wheel, the workmanship is good and I expect this mouse to last at least 3 years..For the price, you really can’t beat it. The left/right scroll on the scroll wheel is the best feature at this price point even if the wheel is loose. With all it’s issues this device is still so much better than those cheap commodity mice. For the price, I’d recommend it. Just be warned, it’s not going to be easy to use on a Mac, and the device switching button is going to get hit now and then deactivating the mouse.

I fixed it. This is a wonderful mouse for productivity. I genuinely enjoy the freedom of combing thousand page pdf documents with the free scroll wheel, or simple normal browsing scrolling at the click of a button. The mouse does take some getting used to with the position, as im a claw user, but otherwise it has been fantastic.I had one gripe, and that was the weight. I thought it was too heavy and just heavily annoyed me for a week. Then, I realized something when I opened the mouse up: the batteries are in parallel. So, if you think your mouse is too heavy, just put one battery in. Easy as that.10/10 mouse. I am pairing it with the k454 keyboard and I love it.

user error). I bought a logitech because I’ve used them for years and always remembered them to be good products. My last mouse’s scroll wheel gave me problems after about a year. Well, this one is just as bad right out of the box. When I scroll a direction, after I stop it often begins scrolling the opposite direction. It is very annoying and disappointing for a $40 mouse. Everything else about the mouse is fine, but most of what I do is browsing and reading on the internet, so the scroll wheel is very important.Edit: Okay, so I’m an idiot. There is a button next to the scroll wheel that turns on “hyper sensitivity”, that was engaged and causing my issue. The mouse is working great now. Changed from 2 stars to 5. Also, customer support was great, Gabrielle resolved the issue professionally and quickly.

oes last a long time. We use this mouse every day for hours at a time and the battery lasts at least a year. Pretty impressive life. Otherwise it is a good solid mouse with a wheel scroll and good sensitivity on a plain desktop surface. It requires you to uses its own bluetooth USB plug. It seems odd that it cannot be recognized directly by the computer without the plug.

. Superb battery life! I have been using it for years at a time between battery changes on another computer. The other computer is used for MMO gaming, this is good enough for that with no problems observed. Todays mice are sold with rechargeable batteries that only last 3-10 days at a time, I much prefer the 3 year on this old but still sold mouse!

stuttering, very smooth. I bought this to replace a microsoft mouse that ended up being the problem for my mouse stuttering issues. The old mouse caused me no end of trouble with stuttering that I thought was either the browser, the video driver, or windows. After debugging with no results after several things tried from different sources on the web, I decided to try replacing the mouse. It worked perfectly.I had Logitech products in the past and they have never let me down. This mouse is no different and is an excellent piece of hardware.Setup was so simple my mother could do it ;). Just plug in the USB dongle and install the batteries. Speaking of the batteries, this one comes with Duracel AA’s (no junk batteries like many others come with). The mouse feels great in my hand. The buttons have a very good feel as well. The big winner is the mouse wheel though. It is a smooth scrolling wheel that makes your scrolling feel like an extension of your hand. It has a very cool feature where it acts like a free wheel when you whip it one way or the other. the page will continue to scroll until you put your finger back on it. This is an amazing feature for scanning to the top or bottom of a long web page where my old mouse would have had me scrolling and scrolling manually with my finger to make such a long scroll.Another great product from Logitech.

Scroll Wheel. Works great, batteries last a very long time (2 AA batteries, easy tool-less replacement). The scroll wheel is the real feature of this mouse. You can use it like every other mouse, where it will “click” and scroll a little bit with each click OR you can just set a button on it and the wheel will free-spin and you just move it slowly or spin it to quickly scroll up or down, way faster than a regular mouse wheel. Once you use it, you won’t want to go back.

ly hard to control. The pointer and unifying receiver bluetooth functionality are fine for what they are, but the scroll wheel on this mouse make it really hard to use. In particular, it has a slightly tacky surface, and very smooth rotation with no clicks, so sometimes when I lift my finger off it it the scroll will float, possibly continuing to scroll or even going backwards. Moreover its scroll rate seems to vary by the speed of wheel turn rather than scrolling a consistent amount per rotation. The result is that it’s incredibly difficult to control and I find it difficult to scroll to a precise position as with a normal mouse.Edit: It’s come to my attention that clicky scroll wheel is a functionality that can be toggled by the button under the scroll wheel. This has drastically improved the usability of the mouse and i’m updating my star rating accordingly.

er owned. I’m not a high end gamer, just an office worker. Can say from my time with this product that it’s the best mouse I’ve had my hands on. Comfortable, light, intuitive, lot of quality of life features. I have my hand on this thing north of 7 hours a day and I barely notice it save for the quality. That’s about as good of a review for a tool that I can give.

grade from an M705. I recently purchased a new laptop that only had USB-C ports on it (2022 MacBook Air M2). So I could no longer use my trusty Logitech M705 due to the need for the USB-A dongle. The bluetooth feature of this mouse connected easily to the new MacBook Air. It also connected easily to another HP laptop that I use daily. It did not connect to my late-2013 MacBook Pro 15″. Perhaps the old MacBook Pro doesn’t have the latest bluetooth standard that this mouse uses. The ability to switch the bluetooth connection with the press of a button has worked flawlessly so far.The form factor is quite comfortable. it is similar in shape/feel to the M705, but perhaps a little longer from the palm to the fingertip. See the attached photos for a side-by-side comparison. The scroll wheel feels the same as the M705, with the mechanical button to select between detented scroll and freewheel. The mouse has the following buttons: left-click, right-click, thumb press, thumb back, thumb forward, wheel click, wheel left, wheel right, the button to switch bluetooth connections, and the technical button to switch scroll types.I am quite pleased with the M720 as a replacement from my old M705.

ome getting used to. Needs software to change the button functions. Bought this mouse after my my Logitech Anywhere MX bit it after many many years. The right click got stuck and I was getting phantom left clicks even when not touching it. I searched through the Logitech listings for any good, large mice that use AA batteries. I don’t want built in rechargeables, I want rechargeables that I can swap myself. The Marathon 705 fit that bill.Large mouse, multiple buttons including what looked like a separate button for middle click (More on that later.) The price was right, so I bought it and sat back to wait for it to arrive.Delivery day comes, I get the package and immediately open it and start setting it up. It was at this point when I discovered that the middle button does not in fact work as middle click. Instead it is a tactile button to switch the scroll wheel between indexed (clicky) mode, and free scrolling. Not a game changer, but still kind of annoying. I use 3D modeling software and depended on that middle click for panning and rotating camera. Clicking on a mousewheel is really, really annoying, and the Anywhere MX had that dedicated Middle click button. So I decided go to the Logitech website to find software for it. The Logitech Options software does not have the M705 listed in it’s compatible devices, so I searched around and found Logitech’s old “Set Point” software.Set Point is useless. It’s pretty much only for connecting multiple devices to a single USB receiver, which the new Unifying software does now. I decided to download and install the Option’s software anyway, just to see. And the M705 IS COMPATIBLE with it. So download and use that if you want to swap button functions. I now have one of the side buttons mapped to Middle click, while the other side button unmapped, as well as the scroll wheel’s actual middle click.Testing the mouse out again and it is working as intended, although the middle click being on the side will take some getting used to. But the mouse is big, comfortable, sensitive, and hopefully will last me as many years as my old MX Anywhere used to.
