I’ve noticed that people write about the dress arriving in a packing tube so I included a photo. It was neatly rolled and placed in the lidded tube. I imagine it protects the dress from the elements during shipping and delivery but it was the first time for me to see this sort of packaging before.The dress is neatly stitched. It is teal blue and has flowers in a harvest gold-brownish color range. There are also fuschia-colored circles in the pattern. Overall, the colors are within the autumn color range. I like that as hot humid days will still prevail until late October in the climate that I live in and things too summery look out of season. I recently ordered the same pattern of dress, in the same size, from a different seller which uses the exact same photographs in their advertisement on Amazon. The dresses were most likely made in the same factory. Laid side by side, this dress was 3 full inches wider. The armholes-shoulder was also higher and larger. So, the dress is not tight in the armhole section but the opening is so large that my bra is visible. I will be mindful of undergarments with this one because of that! After washing, the width of the dress did not change but became about an inch shorter.The fabric is a bit rough and scratching feeling, sort of like burlap. It reminds me of 1930s feed sacks! Together with the simple styling and pattern, the dress has a very vintage feel to it.I decided to knock one star off because of the enormous oversizing that looks completely unflattering. I needed to alter the dress to create more shape and definition. Then, as I was writing this review, I noticed that the Amazon photo shows a larger-scale printed fabric. So, I knocked another star off for that as customers want to be able to feel that what they see in the online photo matches what they will receive. Be aware of the larger armholes, wider sizing, and print at a different scale, if you decide to order this one. Then, you might feel that you have a 5-star item. It is nicely made and will serve as a nice housedress.

This dress looks terrific! I like the fabric, it’s cool and soft. I ordered the one with the flowers and it’s a bit darker than the image, but that’s not a problem. I did order a size up just because I like the loose fit, and it’s still a good fit, not baggy. I’ll definitely order in different colors/patterns.

I bought this dress to wear for a casual party but ended up sending it back. The fabric feels, and looks, like a cheap cotton tablecloth. Sleeves were tight and this was not a comfortable dress! I do not recommend it!

I just reach for it more often. It’s comfortable, it’s stylish, it can be sexy if you accessorize it that way (with some strappy heels), the material is thick but not heavy, drapes nicely. And, the color I chose, blue, is just as vibrant and stunning in person as it is in the photos.I ordered the long version because I’m short and I feel like shorter dresses only accentuate my shorter legs, where as longer dresses give the illusion of longer legs. The solid color is great because I can really play with accessorizing with different jewelery and shoes that I would not normally be able to wear with prints.I totally love this dress. I’ve been on a dress acquiring kick for about 3 or 4 months now and this is really one of my favorites. I am 5’ 2.5” and 101 pounds and while I usually like more fitted dresses, there are days I don’t feel like wearing those dresses. Then I see this one and that’s it, that’s what I”m wearing that day.
