The Command 20 Lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips are nothing short of phenomenal. These strips have transformed the way I decorate my home. With a holding capacity of up to 20 pounds, they are perfect for hanging large, heavy pictures and frames securely on the wall. What impresses me the most is their incredible strength and reliability. I’ve hung several large frames, including a heavy mirror, and they’ve held up exceptionally well without any signs of giving way.Installation is a breeze with these strips. There’s no need for nails, screws, or tools, which means no damage to walls. The adhesive is strong yet easy to adjust before finalizing the position, making the process hassle-free. Even when I needed to reposition a frame, the strips came off cleanly without leaving any residue or damaging the paint. One of the best features is their versatility. They work on various surfaces such as painted walls, wood, tile, and metal, which makes them perfect for any room. I’ve used them in my living room, bedroom, and even the bathroom, and they perform consistently well in each setting. The white color blends seamlessly with most decor styles, ensuring that the focus remains on the artwork and not on the hanging mechanism. The convenience of these strips cannot be overstated. They come with clear instructions that are easy to follow, and the satisfaction of knowing my precious frames are securely mounted is priceless. Plus, when it comes time to redecorate or move, I can remove and reapply them without any hassle.Overall, Command 20 Lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips have exceeded my expectations in every way. They provide an effective, damage-free solution for displaying heavy pictures and artwork, combining strength, ease of use, and reliability into one fantastic product.

I used these to attach a magnetic knife holder into the back of the cupboard above my fridge. Everything is staying put, which I was a little worried about with the 6 or so knives I put on the magnet. I’ve used command strips for other projects, and they still came off clean after years of holding something in place.

The Command 20lb Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips are outstanding. I used them to hang a very heavy mirror in my senior Aunt’s foyer. It needed to be extremely secure, and hold the weight of the mirror. The mirror weighs at least 20 – 25lbs, and is probably around 36” long by 28”wide. I used 4 Heavyweight strips, two on the edge of each side…separated about 6”, above each other. The mirror is on so strong! It doesn’t budge at all! I have a larger mirror for my home that I’m going to use 6 Heavyweight strips with. 4 strips would probably hold it, but because it’s going on the top of a staircase, and is in a busy area, I’m using 6 strips.I have to admit I am shocked at their strength. Follow the directions and you should be fine.

We attempted to use this to attach a broom holder to the side of the refrigerator. A broom is less than 20 pounds so likely it should’ve worked. But no, it just falls off all the time.I believe this adhesive design works really well if you’re going to stick it and never touch it or bump it again. If it’s going to get touched or bump, it’s going to fall off. It looks cool, but it doesn’t work. Maybe but I haven’t found something that works.

I use these often despite the fact that they take paint and drywall off the wall when removed some times. They do stick great and nothing has fallen down yet that I used them to hang …. so that’s a win just got to work on easier removal

At first I thought I got just one side of the Velcro times two and that they messed up. But then I clicked them together and felt humbled. What a cool product!

I have used these Command strips for a long time on several different projects from picture hanging to mounting power strips in places that I didn’t want to drill holes, to holding items securely to the top of my electric standing desk. Easy to remove but have a lot of holding power at the same time. I highly recommend these!

Just follow the instructions, use them for almost every artwork I hang

I found the black ones were easier to mesh together for holding things up. The white ones, you have to work with them awhile. Both equally holding up to wall.

I just moved into an apartment and was worried about putting holes into the walls. So i turned to command strips and hooks. It says 16lb on them and I didnt for a second believe that a small strip would hold anything heavy but I was so wrong! I will continue to buy these because they are amazing! The very heavy mirror with hooks i was given as a house warming gift is hanging by my front door. For the last week. No issues. These things are beyond what i expected.

When you live an apartment, youre always worried about hanging things on the wall at fear of losing your deposit. This is perfect because it takes care of that issue and lets you hang things. I use it to hang cool art and pictures to help me remember important moments.

t some several years ago, in which the design was totally different then these. The previous ones had 2 different velcro ‘s on the strip. A fuzzy like one and then a regular velcro. These have the exact same type for each strip, which means you have to literally use 2 or more hands to shive them together to stick.Unfortuantly, the easiest way to use these, is to attach both together, peel the sticky strip and attach to the picture, then pull off the back of the strip for the wall and then push the picture onto the wall so it adheres. Unfortunately, the directions state you should put the strip on the wall first, wait an hour then attach the picture, which means you need at least 2 hands if not more to try and line it up and then smoosh it all together. When they had the two different sides ( fuzzy and velcro) it was much, much easier.I will not by these again.

itself; not like Velcro. The backside adhesive does stick well to a hard surface. However, the front “loops” do NOT adhere well at all to another piece’s front “loops”. There is no way these will hold up 20lbs. over any length of time.
