I bought two of these batteries despite the complaints of heat and minimal battery charging. After using them for a while, I feel I’ve found the ideal way to use them with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.To get the best performance out of these battery packs, I wait until my battery is at or below 20% state of charge before slapping on the battery. This will ensure that all of the power will be transferred to my phone in the fastest, safest, and most efficient way possible. (Lithium Ion batteries work the fastest when charging from 20-80%). The end result is a phone battery that recharges to 80% before the pack runs dry. This is enough to get me through the rest of the day.In addition to the above, I remove my phone case while charging. A phone case introduces resistance which in turn creates the heat so many people complain about. Simply removing the case solves the heat problem for me.Doing the above has made this battery pack a convenient way to top up mid day without the need to carry around a giant auxiliary battery pack and charge cable. I’m sure there’s room for improvement but the product as is works just fine if you do it correctly.

I dropped my other Anker charger in a taxi in Spain, so this is a replacement. Works fine, does the job of recharging my Apple I-Phone. It gets hot. I guess that is normal ?

Just received this to replace another same type battery but that one would go on then just shut off for no apparent reason. I do have an IP-12 and i use a pretty heavy case so i wasn’t sure how these type of batteries were going to work.I installed the metal ring on back of case and as it held battery ok it just wouldn’t charge. So i bought this Anker to try it as i do like Anker batteries. Well right away it stuck right to my case and immediately started to charge. I was still skeptical. I just waiting to see if it shuts off and it never really did. Yes it gets warm just like the other battery, but that’s the characteristic of this type of charging. But I have to tell you this thing grips much better than the other battery I had, maybe it has something to do with being a MagSafe battery I don’t know that’s why I wanted to try the Anker as its not a Magsafe but a Maggo and boast that it has a much stronger magnet, and I can Contest to that. It’s not the fastest charger but it does charge. It is probably taking me an hour and a half hour to go from 60% to 95% for me that’s OK. It’s meant to be more of a rescue battery to basically get you through the rest of your day, my phone that has relatively small battery. This battery probably would charge it fully but The newer phones have larger batteries. This probably will maybe get you 80% which is just enough to get you through the rest of your day.Yes, heat is a factor and some people complain about it and some people understand It’s a necessary phenomenon in this kind of charging, this case with the heat temperature gun i saw134 degrees at its peak but it does go thru cycles of heat and cool as internal thermostat kicks in. To me thats a minor inconvenience, but it does not heat up your phone. The heat stays within the battery itself and it does not radiate to your phone. So far so good i using it now to write this and as the charge percent is not rising as fast as it did when I wasn’t using the phone. It’s basically holding the percent at one particular spot right now.So in closing, if you have a heavy duty case, try it, it might work get the rings and put them on the back of your case and see what happens. My rings came with a template which is not easy to use with a heavier case so what I did is I attach the ring to the actual battery And I moved the battery on the back of the case where I found a nice spot where the phone always went on charge every time I hit that spot and then I remove the plastic on the ring went back to push the battery down on that spot removed it push the ring down by hand make sure it was good And that’s it, sometimes that’s more accurate than using a template. I do agree that the thickness of the case plays a big roll in whether this will work or not, but what do you got to lose if it doesn’t work you can return the battery or buy a new case that’s thinner and will work better.

I really like the convenience and practicality of this power bank. However, it can only charge one cycle at a time, so it’s not suitable for heavy usage. Its small size and wireless feature are useful in emergency situations. The downside is that it tends to overheat quickly, causing the charging process to stop. Once, my phone displayed a message saying “The charging process will resume when the temperature is normal.

I don’t review many things. But, this charger is designed super well. Strong Magnet, works as described, and looks great. You can keep it on your phone and turn it off while still attached if you want, so you don’t have to carry the thing around like a big brick, it just stays on your phone. You can charge it while it’s on your phone too, which charges both your phone and the Anker charger as well. And wow, this magnet is strong. It’s strong enough to hold the weight of my phone if im just holding the charger. Works well as a grip too for those of you that go caseless and are worried about dropping your phone. Not to mention that this thing is only $40 too. Some of the best money I’ve spent. Only thing that could make it any better is if it had a magnet on the back to attach to a stand or something for hands-free in the car. Overall, if you’re looking between this and another charger like it, I’d say this one is a no-brainer.

Works great when I want to charge my phone on the go. I find that it can charge your phone when FaceTimeing, but it will eventually get too warm to continue charging. Not much of a surprise with how sensitive iPhones are to heat, but if you charge with your cable it’s usually fine. For how light it is, it is worth a purchase if you just to top off during the day. Or even get most of a full charge in one go.

Anker is a top brand of chargers in my opinion and everything I have purchased from them has been perfect. The cost is considerably less than the charger from the big name brand that makes my phone and yet it works perfectly and does exactly what I need it to do. I travel frequently and this will ensure that when I land after a long international flight, my phone will be full charged and ready to go. This keeps me from having to get my cables out and hoping the plane has working plugs – a challenge on occasion. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small, lightweight Mag-safe type charger for their phone.

Put these to the test over the course of a few months. Purchased Apple’s version of this for full retail price ($99.99). Figured for the price, i bet it’d do great things for my battery life… Turns out it never gets close to fully charging my phone, it gets me up to only about 30% of increased charge (on a good day). Noticed only about 20% on an average day’s use. Additionally, the Apple one does not come packaged with a charger for the device you’re buying. It is packaged by itself and you’re expected to already have a charger or buy a new one. The product itself dies so fast i feel like i am charging it more than i do any of my apple tech, even my airpods — which really illustrates the irony here. Apple somehow came to the decision of selling us a rechargeable battery with no charging chord included. One thing i’ll say about the Apple Magsafe is that it survived a wash cycle when i accidentally threw it in with my bed sheets, so in all honesty, that was pretty impressive. Now moving onto Anker… first of all, anker comes with a charger! And detailed user manual. More than half the price less, Anker comes with advantages outweighing the Apple name by dividends. Anker’s customizable marketing is insane — browsing through their portable chargers, you’ll see that they have different ones at different prices, specifics vary enough for just about everyone. after choosing the model best for you, select your personal favorite from a plethora of color options! So you get a charger + your favorite color in your purchase…that’s a great start. Now let’s get into the experience. This thing charges my phone nearly 50% at least increased percentage FAST and stays on for hours at a time. I’ve gotten up to 80% charge so many times. Has a dotted illuminated sequence feature along the bottom edge that will convey the status of its charge, as well as remain lit when you power the device on, and diminish when turned off/dead. This is convenient to tell if you’ve left your device on but meant to turn it off, or have it off and need to power it on. The power is triggered by a small side button that requires direct pressure from your hand. It is dense enough to prevent any accidental powering on or off as you hold or carry the device, there are no annoying mistakes made there as one would preemptively assume, which is great to have that intentional detail actually very well serve its purpose. This model is slim enough to hug my phone without unnecessary bulk. Much like any other magsafe devices on the market, yours will increase in temperature and feel warm for the duration of your charge. This is not something you can escape due to any compact battery using the limited space it has to conduct a power charge to another device, so accept the science happening there. Size is longer than the Apple, slightly wider in width by a micro amount, and noticeably taller in height. These size differences were not inconvenient due to how slim the device itself is, and how it sits on the device is comparable to the Apple. Weight is not heavy, but you can feel the difference when charging your phone, won’t lie about it looking lighter than it is. In conclusion, spending $100 on an Apple product seems to be just that — it’s $100 only BECAUSE it’s an apple product, if you want the logo then pay the price, and get a wimpy charge. i would suggest purchasing 2 magsafes to have with you if you’re going the Apple route. it’s just not enough for the reasons targeted customers would need this and benefit from it. To any busy, on the go/working/social human being on the market for a product they can depend on to power through the day in order to make ends meet; remain available to others; or ensure their safety. These things really do impact your day and for that you deserve something that will make all the difference. As i come to an end of argument here, I will conclude with the reason i wrote this very long review in comparison of said two products. The answer is because i was searching endlessly before I found nothing detailed enough to make or break my decision or many questions, so that’s why i just bought them both over time. Hopefully this helps someone genuinely curious about this debacle like i was, and anyone researching before spending their hard earned money. Thanks again to anyone for reading. Just wanted to give the review I would have wanted to read. This isn’t sponsored by the way, i am currently using my Anker charger whilst writing this long awaited review on my flight right now. LOL. We’re currently sitting at 88% and still charging!! Cheers.

My friend let me borrow this charger during class when my phone was almost dead. After using it, I immediately went home and bought one. It is the most convenient portable charger I have ever used. I have a big Otterbox case on my iPhone 14 Pro, and the charger magnetically attaches to the back of my phone and starts charging right away. No fumbling with wires or holding a big batter pack in one hand or your pocket while your phone is charging in the other. The charger snaps on the back, and you pull it off when you’re done. I recommend this charger to everyone I know.

Received mine with 3/4 of a charge and immediately put it to work. Provides a strong, reliable charge. And the magnet is very strong, you simply set it and forget it.I bought this charger because I like to charge my phone to 100% interrupted. Being on the go and not tied to a wall makes this challenging. This solves my issue.

While overall, this is a good MagSafe charger for the price, my one complaint is that it gets considerably hot after only a couple minutes of using. The heat is bearable, but it was definitely noticeable.

I’ve been happy with this little charger. It works wonders charging via a mag case. So far, seems to charge quickly and gives me about two full charges on my iPhone per recharge. Only possible gripe is that I wish there was one additional USB-C output so I could charge two devices at once.

Great portable charger for on the go charging. This is a very convenient accessory to have, especially while traveling or going to concerts/events. It’s so much more affordable than buying a bulky charging case that can cost anywhere from $70-$120. Got it on sale too so that was a plus. Charges your phone to about 80% when dead.

My iPhone 14 has been a disappointment with battery life, but this battery pack helps me get through the day. It does get a bit warm when charging, though I’m not sure that’s the battery pack itself – I believe there may be an issue with my phone. As with all Anker products, solid design and build quality.

Works as expected, I can charge my phone 1/2 times from this. I wish it had more capacity, but it would mean a bigger charger and I like the size.It does get a bit warm and I would still suggest using a cable, if it gets offset from the phone it won’t charge.

So, full disclosure!! I do not use or prefer iPhone at all! I am an Android guy all the way. That being said… I am a hugh fan of the MagSafe concept and I have been using a MagSafe case for my Samsung S21 Ultra for a while now and really like it.Sadly, this did not work well for that! It did work fantastic for my daughter’s iPhone 13.I may possibly be moding my phone to an integrated MagSafe setup and will retest this then!

It’s a great battery so far it’s a nice replacement from my mophie one but it has some negatives from my mophie one but it has more positivesPros:-it’s very slim-it charges 5w-7.5w wirelessly-Very strong magnets-very strong usbc port-Doesn’t interact with the camera bump on my 13 mini-really nice materials and build quality-it has pass through charging (when plugged in it can charge itself and my phone at the same time-it has a rubber type material so on the non matte back iPhones it will grip on more making it harder to slide offCons:-it charges very slow im using a 45w ac adapter and it seems to be charging at 20w my mophie one can charge at 45w for 2 hour charging time the anker one has been on the charger for 2 hours and just got to the 3rd led-it gets warm when charging my mini but if you have a bigger phone your phone won’t get as hot when chargingMisc:-it turns on automatic my when i put it on the back of my phone but before that I can turn it on with the button and hold the button so it won’t turn on until I want to use it-the button is very clicks and solid-the leds are bright enough but hard to see outdoors-it doesn’t have the official MagSafe charging animation

I recently purchased the Anker 621 Magnetic Battery (MagGo) and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The 5000mAh capacity is perfect for on-the-go charging, and the magnetic attachment feature is a game-changer. I love being able to simply attach it to my iPhone 14 Pro Max and not worry about cords or wires. The charger also comes with a USB-C cable which is great for charging other devices as well. The black color is sleek and stylish, adding a touch of sophistication to my tech accessories. The only downside is that this charger is only compatible with iPhone 14/14 Pro/14 Pro Max, 13/12 Series, so it may not be suitable for those with other phone models. However, for those with compatible devices, I highly recommend the Anker 621 Magnetic Battery (MagGo) for its convenience and reliable performance.

I actually bought the Apple MagSafe Battery Pack to compare with this charger for my Iphone 14 Pro and I’ll be judging it based on a variety of factors:Price: Anker wins. $37 vs $99 makes it almost 3x cheaper.Size and Weight: Tie. Surprisingly very similar to Apple in weight. The thickness is pretty much the same which is the most important as you want to be able to use it comfortably while holding the phone and charger. Anker is a bit longer and very slightly wider, but this doesn’t really make a difference as it fits on the phone.Looks and Feel: Apple wins. The Anker feels nice and grippy, but Apple’s form factor definitely wins out. I notice that fingerprints definitely show up more on the Anker and not really at all for Apple. This is the least important category for me.Battery Life: Anker wins. Apple notably doesn’t list its battery life for its charger, but it’s definitely less than 5000mAh. 5000mAh is enough for a little more than a full charge for my Iphone 14 pro and from my testing (charging up from 10% to 100%), Apple capacity’s seems to be about 55-65% of a full charge.Charging Speed: Tie. They’re both pretty slow, but that’s a given for wireless magsafe charging.UI and Battery Advantages: Apple wins. Apple’s charger is obviously designed to work with Iphones and it shows with the audio cue for charging, the visual popup for charger percentage, and the ability to charger the battery pack while charging the phone. It also manages heat, stopping if the phone gets too hot and let’s you know it won’t charge beyond 90% to preserve battery life. Anker has none of that, only a light indicator for battery life and it will keep on charging until it’s done. It hasn’t gotten unbearably hot, but I would keep to charging in bursts.Magnet: Apple wins (slightly). I held my phone by the charger for both and shook it side to side and up and down and they both held firm. However, for some reason, Anker’s doesn’t seem to have the small magnet under the circle one like Apple does. This makes it so you can slightly turn the charger, but this doesn’t really matter. Conclusion: My personal preference is the Anker. Apple’s small improvements really aren’t worth being 3x the price. I value being able to hold the phone comfortably while charging and knowing that the battery will last me through the day if I forgot to charge my phone last night and Anker does that, arguably even better than Apple does. Heat isn’t really an issue for me because I only charge in short bursts of time anyway (~30 minutes). Apple’s charger pack is meant more for keeping your battery topped up so it only drops a bit during the day, not for charging up from a low amount which isn’t my preferred use case.

the title says, it’s very convenient for keeping my phone alive while I’m out and about. Only complaint is it’s super slow charging speed, idk if that’s due to my phone being a pixel and not an iPhone, but it will at best charge slowly, and at worst slow the battery drop.

hing is so convenient to have on hand and extend the battery life of ur phone. It over heats a little but shouldnt be a problem. For a standard size iPhone (not a pro or max) it will likely hang off the edge of the phone by literally .01 mm. Not an issue for me but I can understand the inconvenience depending on the case u use and etc.

Superb Battery. I own multiple Anker products and all are 5 Star. The price for the 621 is a great deal. This battery is slim and provides great backup power to get you through the day. No need to carry a cable and your phone with the battery attached easily fits in your pocket. Recharge of the battery is quick too. Once again Anker is a winner.

rger. Anker makes great products and this is no exception. It is no thicker than you iPhone and connects nicely to your MagSafe case (that’s a must for any MagSafe product). If you are expecting this charger to maintain power for several charges, this is not for you but if you want a lightweight charger that you can barely tell it’s on your phone, look no further.

. I think is a pretty solid product, however it does tend to warm up a bit but that’s not really a big concern. There’s pass through charging, but once it starts charging the battery and the phone it stops charging for a second then resumes. Overall pretty good product.

on the Go. I recently purchased the Anker 621 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), a 5000mAh Magnetic Wireless Portable Charger, and I must say I am extremely impressed with this product. This portable charger has made my life so much easier, as I no longer have to worry about running out of battery life while on the go.One of the standout features of the Anker 621 Magnetic Battery is its magnetic design, which allows it to easily attach to my iPhone 14/14 Pro/14 Pro Max, 13/12 series. The magnetic connection is strong and secure, which means I don’t have to worry about the charger falling off while in use. This is a great feature for those who are always on the move and need a reliable charging solution that won’t let them down. The 5000mAh battery is powerful enough to charge my iPhone up to two times on a single charge, which is perfect for those long days out and about. The wireless charging feature is also a huge plus, as I can simply place my phone on top of the charger to start charging, without having to worry about any cables getting in the way. This is especially handy when I’m using my phone while it’s charging, as the wireless connection allows me to move around freely. The Anker 621 Magnetic Battery also comes with a USB-C cable for charging, which is great for those times when I need to charge multiple devices at once. The cable is high quality and durable, which means it can withstand frequent use without showing any signs of wear and tear. There are cheaper options available however, which include some Chinese brands. If you are on a budget, you can go for those.Overall, I highly recommend the Anker 621 Magnetic Battery (MagGo) to anyone who is looking for a reliable and convenient charging solution for their iPhone 14/14 Pro/14 Pro Max, 13/12 series. The magnetic design, powerful battery, and wireless charging feature make it a must-have accessory for anyone who is always on the go.

this portable charger?. Good quality and function, but few good use case scenarios. I did not experience any of the heating issues reported by other reviewers.Pros:1. The item is well made. The type of plastic and overall construction makes this feel like a premium item with no flex or loose parts. It has a sort of satin finish that is matte and looks very nice as well2. You are able to charge items through the USB C portCons:1. Charging is quite slow. While using this battery you should not be losing any charge, but any increase in battery percentage will be slow and hard to notice2. It is quite heavy. When attached to your phone, the weight difference is very noticeable. I think it is too big to comfortable carry in a pocket, especially attached to your phone3. Though it is slim, the battery is also a bit bulky. When attached, it doubles the thickness of your phone. On my iPhone 14 Pro with a thin case, the battery hangs a fraction of a centimeter over the bottom and it is noticeable if you rest your phone on your pinky4. Because of its weight and size, it begs the question, “why not use a bigger and faster traditional portable battery with a cord?”5. While the finish of the material is nice, it will show every fingerprint and bit of moisture. Something to keep in mind if this sort of stuff bothers you

have used this once and I have been happy with it. It charged my IPhone 14 Pro from about 35% to 100% in less than 2 hours. It sticks to my MagSafe case (Otterbox Defender XT Pro) well. It is reasonably compact. A number of reviewers complained about the heat, but neither the phone nor the battery became very hot, only slightly warm. Overall, I am very happy with it.

wice as long. I am using this with my iPhone 13 Pro and a Mag Safe approved case. The magnet is strong enough to hold the battery on a smartphone tripod clamp with only the battery being clamped down. I use the phone for shooting video and the battery allows me to double the amount of time I can shoot without my iPhone battery going dead. So far, so good.

I have a lot of power banks and this is one of my favorites. Other people with different needs could justifiably say it’s one of the most useless.I already have plenty of large power banks, from 10-20k mah qi chargers to 30k mah beasts that charge laptops at 100w. This charger is very different. My iPhone 14 Pro Max battery is 4,232 mah and wireless charging is not terribly efficient, so this 5,000 mah magnetic power bank doesn’t fully charge my phone. It also only provides 7.5w so it doesn’t charge it very fast. This is not a battery pack to quickly take you from 0-100% multiple times during a week away from outlets.I love this thing because it provides a kind of freedom those bigger units don’t. Even the fairly slim 10k mah qi chargers I have are basically like carrying another slightly bigger phone and without magnets they won’t wirelessly charge in your pocket. You have to sit them down flat or bring a cable with you. And to be honest I don’t need to bring 2+ extra phone charges with me every day. This one is barely noticeable when I slip it into my pocket in the morning. It’s a little longer than a credit card (used up gift card in the picture, sorry guys) and thinner than my phone in a case. Much thinner than my AirPods Pro (which this battery will also charge). And it weighs 0.28 lbs, about a quarter of what my phone in modest leather case weighs. My recorded test matches daily use, it took my iPhone 14 Pro Max from 9-73% in about two hours. Slow and 64% of my battery. And exactly what I want from it.My phone already lasts a long time, this just provides peace of mind or still gives me a day of wireless freedom if I left the house with my phone under 30%. It’s tiny, weighs almost nothing, and guarantees I make it through even the longest day without any hint of concern about my phone battery. And to be honest I normally charge my phone from about 20-85%, so even though it’s far shy of 100% it seems like a full charge to me. For those of you with normal size phones instead of maxes, your 3,200 mah / my 4,232 = 75.6%. So if I get 64% / .756 smaller battery = an estimated 85% charge for you guys. Also to address the people complaining about heat – the back of the battery does warm up in your palm, but it keeps the charging side and the phone comparatively cool. As someone who’s had a malfunctioning MagSafe charger before kicking off serious heat, you’ll know when something’s wrong. This bit of warmth is not a problem. In summary, this isn’t a powerhouse that fully charges your phone all week. This is a tiny, light as air, barely noticeable extra 64-85% of a phone charge that gets you through long days or times you’re leaving in a hurry with a depleted phone. It is the most convenient gadget I own, discreetly charging my phone in my pocket without a cable. Other clunkier batteries can keep me away from outlets for a week, but this one effortlessly gets me through everyday life.

ed. First let’s dispel some rumors.Yet it heats up at first but I don’t see an issue here. Some reviewers with an iPhone 14 Pro say the pack hangs below the bottom of the phone. I have an Otter Box mag safe case, the charger is almost even with the bottom of the case.I do wish it had more of than one charge available however considering the price it’s not a deal breaker and it’s expected. Charging does slow down at about 80% but the charger is compact enough to keep on the phone while using it. I paid around 50$ as long as the charger last it’s a great product. I think this product is worth the money how long it last is the only unknown, however it’s make by Anker therefore I am not concerned.

d use daily, but great backup. I haven’t used this product extensively, but it does get hot rather quickly. I timed it and it took about 5 minutes to get pretty hot. That concerns me a little bit for longer uses, but I don’t expect to have to use it often. Just for traveling mostly so I am sure it would be fine. It’s smaller than I expected and easy to pop on and off. It sticks better with a case than just on the back of the phone. One bummer is you don’t get the magsafe animation and it doesn’t show battery life in your control center. The heat makes me want to give it 4 stars, but I have a feeling that is a common problem among products like this that are not from Apple. I have a lot of quality products from Anker so I expect this to hold up just fine.

this battery pack a lot, but a couple things keep it from being 5 stars. 1 – It doesn’t charge very fast. Not a big deal, but you’ll def have to leave it connected longer than the standard Apple version. 2 – It’s too long for the standard size iPhone 14 pro, even though it says it’s made for it. The pack hangs off the bottom edge of the phone just slightly – with or without a case. It’s a little thing, but it definitely feels wrong when holding it.Otherwise I really like this pack. The magnet is really strong and holds well, the color and finish are nice and clean and I like that it has a power button so you can charge other things, not just wireless devices. I’ve used it 2 days in a row to top up and I really like it.
