I work on medium and HD trucks for a living, you need quality tooling to be efficient, Tiger Tool might be a bit expensive but it will last many years.As long as you lubricate threads well it will not let you down. Typically I apply some anti-seize and grease the the threads and pushing screw face.

Make sure you remove the C-clip by outer bushing before trying to remove slack.Otherwise tool will break leg off slack.If replacing, who cares, but if you’re trying to save it?
