My daughter wanted one for her birthday this year, and I ordered it. She remembers playing the Wii with her aunt many years ago.Unfortunately, I had no clue that games could no longer be downloaded online since the Wii has since closed down their online store.Games can only be purchased in person in certain stores, so just know that before purchasing this.Also, we had to buy a small box ($20) from Game stop to reroute the system to work with our T.V. since newer model T.V’s don’t have the yellow, red and black cable hookups.Other than that – it works perfectly and she loves it.

The System works fine and it’s an official one, but the remotes (and potentially nunchucks, I haven’t used them yet) aren’t official ones, went trying to sync remotes too Wii first day getting it, had trouble, troubleshooted the problem online, the Wii remotes that came with the Wii weren’t offical ones so had to buy an official one somewhere else, it came today and now it works just fine, so my advice, this is a great Wii system works as intended but makes sure to buy an official Wii remote before you use it.

The remotes came in disgusting condition and will not charge via the rechargable batteries included OR regular AA batteries. They do not work, and the Wii itself is stuck on a loading screen. All in all, not worth the money, if you’re looking for nostalgia, look elsewhere. The good reviews most definitely make it seem like the gamble is worth it, but take it from a single mom who spent over a hundred dollars trying to do something for my son, it’s not. The good reviews are just lucky buyers who got consoles that somebody actually tested out. The rest of them is a 50/50 chance you’ll get tested or cleaned products. Waste of money and absolutely devastating.

I bought the console but, I did not get around to installing it for several months. When I did, I discovered the DVD drive was not working. Long story short, I had to spend additional funds for a DVD drive for the console. After I installed the new DVD drive the console works as it should.

The whole thing is great! The Wii works just fine. However, I do have a few issues with connecting to my WiFi. When it comes to the accessories, the on-screen cursor is very troublesome. This could be because of the controllers or the sensor bar. And the motion controls aren’t very precise. Neither is the D-Pad navigation. My biggest issue is that I can only have one Wii Remote paired at a time. When I pair one, the other one immediately disconnects. This can definitely render splitscreen impossible to perform without wired controllers.But overall, the experience and the nostalgia from this product are great!

my sister originally broke our wii, so we had to get a new one lol. this was everything we needed and more! i will be using my old remotes and NEW SENSOR as the sensor bar didn’t work. but overall i’m so happy with this purchase!

My son was feeling nostalgic for his gaming days as a kid and asked for this system for Christmas three years ago. I decided to spend the money to get the system and it was great. I was worried because it was renewed, but the worry was for not. The system worked fine and in no time he was enjoying Mario an friends in various games. The system has been working since he got it and we have had no issues.

I got this device a month ago back, it came very well package, and the device was very clean with minimal scratches on it. This did surprise me because of how old the console is. Setting it up only took me an hour without any hassle. The sensors work great on it and when I was playing a game I purchased with it, it had no issues. This was overall a great purchase.

As I am getting a bit older (60+), I realize how important balance is and also how tough it is to maintain. Then I remembered us the Wii Fit game way back when and how awesome it was for exactly that! Believe it or not I still have the original Wii board from 30 years ago, bur not the console or the game disc. After searching I found that Amazon has a whole Refurbished section- who knew! I took a chance and ordered it. They came well packaged with everything they said would be included – and it works! So I’m off and running (balancing!). Thanks for offering this service/product!

So excited to find this and in such great condition as advertised! All the pieces were there and console is great! I was ready to throw all our Wii games away but decided to look on Amazon and see if I could fina refurbished console because my kids have loved this platform so much! Was a bit surprised at the good condition the equipment was in. Someone had taken time to clean and restore this set of WII.Had for a month and everything seems to be running well. I would recommend this Amazon prepared WII kit for anyone.

I bought this console for my kids, everything arrived and looked like it was in excellent condition. (The console had a small ding in one corner) we hooked everything up, remotes would not connect to console and console would not load games. The game would go most of the way into the console and would stop. You could hear the console trying to take the disc in but would then stop, push the game back out and try to take back in. Even after trying to push the game into the console further it would not go, as if something was block the game slot on the inside. I have some very disappointed kids and will be returning.

So far the system seems to work fine. I wish the instructions were more in depth in how it works and the set up process. My biggest obstacle was trying to figure out how to use the remote when you first get things started. You have to sync it, which is on the instruction paper, but what it doesn’t tell you is that you need the motion bar plugged in and in a good place in order to use the remote. I had a Wii when they first came out and didn’t remember if the bar was required. Maybe its not, but it certainly made life easier. Once you get that figured out you just have to follow the prompts on the tv. I will need to get an AV to HDMI converter in order for me to use it on my living room tv, but luckily I had an old tv from about 10 years ago that still had the AV ports. My only other complaint so far is that it didn’t come with the remote grips. It came with the straps, but not the actual grips.

First time purchasing an item through Amazon’s Refurbished program. It arrived packed well, in a HelloFresh box. Upon unboxing it was apparent that the item was not in “Like New” or even “Good” condition. It looked as if someone had pulled it out of their basement after sitting for 10 years. It was dirty, the remotes yellowing and scratched, one missing a lens. They were sticky and the buttons were crunchy. It did include a rechargeable battery pack and stand which was as advertised, and the only item “Like New”. I essentially had to refurbish the other items myself. There were carpet beetle larvae husks in the disk slot and the ports were covered in grime and dirt. The nunchucks were in “Moderate” condition, also seemingly untouched from storage.It turns on and for the first 6-10 hours of use has seemingly no issues internally. However, after the 3rd week of light use, it began having issues reading disks when first put in the console and has began crashing once booted up and in game.I know they source these products through different “refurbishment” companies so your order result may vary, but it was not a good experience and felt like an all around scam.

*Update, contacted seller and he thought it was the power adapter. He rushed me a new adapter in time for Christmas. It works! Thank you!The Wii won’t turn on. Tried multiple outlets and nothing. Emailed seller yesterday to see if I can get it replaced before Christmas. Haven’t heard back. Will update when I do.Also, just a tip for those lucky enough to get a working console, if you have a smart TV, you will need a Wii to HDMI adapter. There are no AV inputs (red, yellow, white) on newer TV’s which is what the Wii has. Update, contacted seller and he thought it was the power adapter. He rushed me a new adapter in time for Christmas. It works! Thank you!
