Overall the build quality is solid, nothing seems too cheap or flimsy, it’s easy to use and set up and works well with assetto corsa, forza 5, and race room. The mounting system is well designed, it’s secure but easy to uninstall if you want to move it. but if it’s trying to be the same as a car it needs some work, the clutch pedal feels almost the same as the gas and with how good the brake feels I was expecting a bit better, the paddle shifters are way too mushy it should be a bit or resistance with a nice click of the whole paddle not a linear motion with a mouse button click at the end, the wheel itself is also tiny it’s smaller than the ones that come on the new civics, though that was probably a compromise to save space. I really can’t complain much because it wasn’t that expensive the feedback feels nice it looks nice it works well and it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall apart any time soon I’ve just been spoiled by driving real cars so I know how these things should feel, and having such a stark difference in the components makes it feel more like a toy than I would’ve liked, but I’m not complaining I’m just trying to be descriptive it’s a great product with Logitechs great quality I also appreciate the amount of metal used as far as I can tell the only plastic is the outer casing and the buttons and that plastic feels really good too, they clearly put the money where they needed to with this product.

This now legendary wheel is a very good one for the price!It is easy to setup and it is compatible with PS5 and PC. If you can buy a metal support for pedals and wheel is very recommended in order to install it and play more easily.I have used it to play Gran Turismo 7 and it becomes more real as you are advancing in the game and get more powerful cars. It feels very realistic and accurate!!Pedals are good: clutch, brake and accelerator. I am not so professional as for playing with clutch, but it works fine.Recommended!

Bought this to practice the concepts of manual driving without having to wreck an actual car (or be a menace to anybody else out there). This is nice in that I enjoy the gaming experience while practicing the muscle memory of driving stick.I will note that a video game does not equal actually driving stick because you need to practice the feel and sound of when the transmission is at the correct RPM’s to shift for each individual vehicle. I only know this because I previously owned/rose motorcycles.

This was my first wheel and pedals set and it immediately got me hooked on simracing (it just isn’t the same experience with a controller). The pedals is something you’ll want to upgrade pretty quickly for something like iracing on PC, but the wheel is great. One mistake I made was that I did not adjust or calibrate the force feedback in iracing at the beginning. What a mistake…. If you set it up according to the sampsoid video compared to default settings, it’s a night and day experience. You’ll be surprised how much you can feel through this wheel and the control you have once it’s setup properly.

Pretty good steering wheel overall I’ve been using it for a few years now and I’ve had no issues with it, I use it on my PC and really like the back silver pedals on the wheel for shifting gears makes it pretty easy to do, I’ve played it with Euro Truck Assetto Corsa and that F1 game also works in BeamNG and some other titles haven’t tested rocket league yet though haha, I wouldn’t say this wheel is entirely plug in play though, you might wanna get the Logitech G Hub if you wanna set profiles for different games and stuff. Setting it can be annoying though since the pedals require a separate power source that the wheel also connects too and also has to connect to USB to PC also its not USB 3.0 if anyone cares. But for its purpose to make car go BRRRR in game is pretty good and pretty decent as a standard wheel feels better then most real steering wheels.

I bought this for my bf’s Xmas gift last year & it’s been so worth it. He absolutely loves it. He doesn’t use it too often but when he does he is over the moon about it. That makes it worth all the money. Also there haven’t been any significant issues with it thus far so it seems quality.

Easy to install. One thing to be aware of …the steering wheel and controller operate on separate power sources.If you can’t steer, but all the buttons work, then the steering wheel likely isn’t plugged into its power source. You’ll read a lot of nonsense about needing to calibrate if the car keeps veering into the wall at the start. Maybe you should calibrate…later. But first you have to plug the power source into an electrical outlet. Ask me how I know. (Insert raised eyebrow emoji here.)

Compatible with almost everything even games without force feedback on PC thanks to g hub I use this wheel for forza horizon 4 and 5 and gran turismo as well as f1, beam.ng and asseto corsa as well as just about any other racing game I can get my hands on absolutely loveeee this wheel. If you’re stuck on buying or not just pull the trigger you won’t regret it I swear

I have been eyeing this product for about a year and finally decided to buy it. I shouldn’t have waited that long. I use it on the PlayStation 5 counsel, and it’s absolutely amazing. Also it’s mounted to a glass desk with no issues 3/8 thick glass

onestly I always wanted a wheel for my pc but the new ones where a bit out of my budget until i saw this one which was cheaper but the condition said good so i was a bit worried but i still made the purchase, i just got it and although the box is a bit damaged but honestly i care about the product condition itself which was honestly amazing its not just good its excellent the product is packaged right, nothing is missing, everything is well organized and wired up properly. Thanks for great and cheap products!

Updated 11/8/22: Took off a few stars. After less than a week of using this I’m heavily considering sending it back. The dead spot in the middle just makes it too difficult to be precise when you’re cornering, and it has gotten worse already. When I first got it there was deadspace out to between 1-4 degrees on each side before resistance from the gears kicked in (you can see the alignment in Logitech’s G hub software). In less than a week it has gone up to 8-10 degrees. That’s on one side, so counting for both sides you have about 20 degrees of movement where there’s no resistance. That means 20 degrees where you get very imprecise, jerky movements. Not ideal for racing games. You can set the deadspace in-game to compensate, but then you don’t get any movement at all up until that point where the wheel catches the gears. It’s not any better. I’ve got “center spring strength” set to 100. This determine how heavy the resistance is, and how quickly the wheel returns to “center” when you let go of it. Again though, it never returns to center because the middle is loose. So it returns anywhere from 4-10 degrees on either side. Just too inaccurate for racing titles. Works good on slow-paced drivers, like American Truck Simulator.ORIGINAL REVIEW: First things first, I was waiting by my front door when the Amazon delivery guy came. He slammed the box on the concrete step in front on my porch. Didn’t drop it, didn’t “whoops! Slipped a bit!” Just straight up slammed it down. I had my door open and was standing there, but the screen was closed, so I’m guessing he didn’t see me or he probably wouldn’t have done that. I said, “Well… thaaanks…” in response and he just turned around and walked away. Reason for bringing that up is this wheel has no protection inside. The actual wheel rests on the bottom of the box, and even with an outer box it’s pretty much taking the full force of any impact. Unfortunately, in this case it was the side that got slammed down.WHEEL: With that out of the way the wheel has a pretty major dead zone in the middle. I’m not sure if it’s Logitech or fault or the delivery guy’s now. Doing a bit of research it has seemed to happen to some people and not others. But basically when the wheel rests at center it’s always off by a few degrees. There’s no resistance for 2-3 degrees. In-game that means any slight movement left or right causes wobbles, which makes it hard to be as accurate as you want to be while driving straight. I’ve spent probably 3 or 4 hours messing with settings in-game, in Windows and on Logitech’s (crappy) software to get it as good as I can. It’s not perfect, but it useable. Honestly though, at this price point it’s hard to expect perfect. This is definitely an entry-level set up.I do love the force-feedback though. I had a wheel when I was a kid (Gran Turismo 1 days), and it wasn’t as technologically advanced. There was no resistance when you turn so it wasn’t as easy to judge corners, and everything was plastic and cheap. This one is nice because you can feel the resistance on the road enough to lock yourself into banks, allowing for more precise cornering than you’ll ever get with a controller. There’s weight to the wheel itself, but it also gives the vehicles weight as well.PEDALS: The pedals are nice. Everything stays planted and doesn’t slip around when you’re pressing them. In fact, if your chair has wheels you’re more likely to push yourself backwards than you are to push the pedals forward.The accelerator feels smooth and responsive. And there are settings in games to let you adjust it even further. Playing Forza 7 I took the initial dead one down to zero so as soon as I touch the pedal the car starts moving.The brake is as stiff as the reviews say. I had to turn the end deadzone (where it considers the pedal fully pressed) from 100 down to 70. Otherwise you’re pretty much having to put all your weight into it if you want to brake fully. Basically, on default settings if you push the brake all the way down, it only reads as 75% breaking power, so you have to push even further than that to get it to register 100. It feels very unnatural. Even turning the brake sensitivity up to max in Logitech’s software doesn’t really help. But if you calibrate it in Windows game controller settings it will bring it down some… and then of course, messing with the in-game settings as well.So basically to really tune this thing you’re changing options in 3 different places. To make things worse these problems get exaggerated the faster the car is that you’re driving. So the steering wheel center wobble becomes more and more touchy the faster you’re going.Clutch feels good. It’s about as easy to press as the accelerator.SHIFTER: I bought the shifter bundle. It feels like a toy, honestly. Very small, and the throws are tiny. I’ve mostly been using the paddle shifters and those feel perfect. The clicks are satisfying, but they also feel light and responsive.SET UP: This was a pain in the ass to set up properly. I had G Hub on my computer already. It tried to update when I opened it and I got an instant blue screen of death. After a restart I attempted to uninstall it. It kept saying uninstall successfull but it never actually left my computer. So I had to jump through a bunch of hoops on Logitech’s forums and delete hidden folders.. but it still wasn’t uninstalled lol. I reinstalled it anyway and it repaired the corrupted files, and I finally got it to register the wheel. After that, as I mentioned, it was just a bunch of fine-tuning.Quality: Overall quality is good. I spent $400 total with CA inflated tax prices. The wheel and pedals were $250 or so. I think that’s around the right ball park for what you’re getting and the quality. It’s not the best, but it’s not cheap plastic either (at least not the parts that matter).Overall this beats a controller by miles, but don’t expect it to be completely useable straight out of the box. Take the time to set it up and fine tune and you’ll be fine.Will update as time goes on. For all I know this thing is a ticking time bomb after being slammed on the ground the way it was. Hoping it doesn’t quit right outside of warranty.

This thing is awesome. Changed racing games for me forever. So much more fun than the Playstation 4 controller, driving is much more precise and natural of course. I play Gran Turismo, Assetto Corsa (can’t get clutch to work), Dirt Rally, Dirt 5.0 and F1 2016. It does not work with Burnout Paradise (darn it) or Trackmania Turbo (man, that sucks!!!). These are the only games I have tested so far.I have logged about 30 hours on it in the last 2 weeks, the joys of staycations. Had no problems so far, just loads of fun.Pros… excellent build quality, real leather steering wheel cover, force feedback, easy to set up, nice cable management on the bottom of the unit, works well with a lot of games, connected right up to a wheel stand I purchased, the excellent GT Omega Apex (5 star), see my review on Amazon. It does not look to crazy or over the top sitting in my living room on a stand.Cons… main gripe is the Playstation button and the options button are right together so when I reach for pause I usually hit the PS button also, just annoying when you were just shoved into the wall and spun out by computer AI for the hundredth time and are frustrated trying to restart, I would think good player testing would space those button out a bit. Steering wheel just seems a little small sometimes, especially on hard turns/hairpin turns or dirt rally out-of-control spinouts, I wish the paddle shifters were stationary and not connected to the wheel but it isn’t the end of the worldSummary… incredibly fun and worth every penny. I can already see that I will get my money out of this. Adds a lot of immersive fun to the driving/racing games and sims. May not be as fancy as a $1500 Fanatec rig but its a lot of fun anyway. The gear shifter is insanely fun since I drive stick everyday in my car and for some games you can set up a realistic clutch pedal. Once again, very immersive. I want the VR goggles next to really get in there.Note… I did notice complaints in other reviews about notchyness in the way the feedback happens, it’s true, its there but I never notice it anymore, just at first because I had read about it, does not affect my driving, that’s all my mistakes, nothing to do with the wheel notches ;). Also, it does not self center like others have said but it does not bother me either I am usually trying to square it back up naturally anyway. For the price you pay these things are not a concern to me. This is THE LOW COST ALTERNATIVE. I have not tried any others to compare to so for the moment, until I go pro, this will do.I would recommended for beginners, kids, racing game sim enthusiasts and fun seekers, pros will probably not want this. No one would buy this after using a high end rig I am sure. If this becomes addiction, I will probably upgrade to a better wheel in a few years when I upgrade my gaming system.

Logitech G29 Review.I have always been curious about the G29 and now that my girls are older at age 9, I wanted to add some distraction to their existing hobbies and lead them into the fun of sim racing.I remember my first wheel experience wasn’t that great back in the day. We didn’t have sim rigs, we had TV stands or you slide the wheel desk under your legs and the pedal tray kept moving around on you. It would have been great but I returned my first unit and opted for the friendly PS controller.Fast forward to Forza when the new Microsoft XBOX 360 wheel came out. I tried it and really loved it. The pedal desk stayed in place on carpet, I had a desk to clamp the wheel to and it was a blast. I then ventured into a Playseat with it and fast forward many years I’m not in a full PC setup with DD wheel, motion, transducers, VR, and widescreen monitor. My hobby really envolved, but it all really started with the XBOX 360 wheel with it’s simplicity of plug and play and just plain working with enough FFB ques to make it fun.Now my girls are getting into Sim Racing or at least show interest so I’m starting with w Logitech G29 for their first ride!So….I spent about 1 week with the Logitech G29 and for its price point of $208 on Amazon, I find it’s a really great buy. I mean you really can’t go wrong with it. I didn’t want to spend to much just to play GT Sport and my kids certainly at age 9 do not need the heavy wheel forces of a Fanatec CSL and others like it.I was still disappointed with the FFB in GT Sport, but that’s defiantly a factor from the game itself, not the G29. Even with my Fanatec Clubsport V2 with a Drivehub, GT Sport FFB was very disappointing. At least with the G29, you don’t break the bank for such limited experience. It’s a shame because GT Sport is very fun, just lacking in FFB and feel compared to even PCARS2.Speaking of PCARS 2. On my PC I tested PCARS2 and Assetto Corsa Competizione and both games didn’t disappoint with the G29. Sure they are not wrist breaking forces but did offer up plenty of curb feel, wheel slip and centering spring to have me turning fast laps around the track as if I was using a higher-end wheel. Plus all the button controls just worked. No mapping needed.For the price of $208 on Amazon, I highly recommend this wheel for newcomers to sim racing for PS4 or PC usage.
