This product does not contain L-ascorbic acid which is the form of Vit. C that is the most effective on the skin, so don’t think it’s the same as the famous C, E, ferulic one that costs much more. I don’t yet know whether I’ll see any results from it. I don’t notice the typical Vit C odor. I have a feeling that CeraVe vit. C, which is ascorbic acid, might be more effective. We’ll see. This one is a thick liquid, no noticeable odor, comes with a dropper. It tends to feel a bit sticky for a while, so it needs dry down time. It’s certainly easy to apply. One of the cheap and supposedly good Vit C products is made by Timeless, but it gave me terrible red patches that peeled, so that was a definite no for me.

This is a really interesting product. When you first put it on your finger to apply, it feels sticky, but it absorbs immediately into your skin, leaving it soft and smooth. It only took 4-5 drops from the included dropper for my whole face and neck. Unfortunately, the bottle tends to leak if it gets turned on its side, and it’s not USDA organic, so I am trying a new product that is organic and looks to be similar. I’ll let you know!

First off, I’m a 27yo, veeeery pale person, and no matter how much sunscreen I put on, I am starting to develop lines under my eyes. I’ve tried a few different vitamin C serums so far in my recent earnest dive into skincare the last few years and this one is the best by far!Every time I put it on, I see immediate tightening and brightening and almost total riddance of my under eye lines. I also feel like my dark circles (due to extreme paleness lol) are at least halved in appearance.I really only put it on once a day in the morning so far and it has worked wonders. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and even though this vitamin C is a little more than what I’ve paid for others in the past, the results are definitely worth the few extra dollars!! Just get it, don’t waste out $100 over 9 mediocre products when great options like this are out there!The texture is slightly silky and doesn’t have a scent, or a very mild one if you were to put a nose to it, and the customer service with Erica was incredible and so very kind. You can tell they go above and beyond to notice their customers and ensure satisfaction to I degree I haven’t experienced with any other business I’ve bought anything from, not only skincare. Absolutely recommend!!

It contains Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which is a more stable form of Vitamin C for sensitive skin, which is great for beginner users of Vitamin C. My problem with this product is that it is missing 1/8 of the bottle. Now, I know what a 2 fl oz look like, since I use these type of bottles many times and make my own essential oil mixtures. It should fill up somewhat to the neck of the bottle. Other serums I purchased do come up to the neck.UPADATE: Right after I posted this review, they did email me back to make things right. I did not respond because I did not really want to waste time on possible $1-2 worth of missing product. So I can say that the seller has exceptional customer service. Also, since I was trying different Vitamin C serums, I prefer to get one with Ascorbic Acid instead, since I do not have sensitive skin.

I’ve been using this for around a year now. I just love it. I had hyperpigmentation issues due to various issues and over a period of several weeks the smaller very dark spots lightened steadily and now you can’t tell they were there. The over all damage pigmentation of my skin has lightened considerably, though takes a much longer time to notice. The health of my skin has improved greatly, its moisturized, has a glow and lost some of its roughness and is now part of my daily skin care routine. A little goes a long way so don’t let the price deter you. Its a must have for me and well worth it.

I absolutely am in love with this serum. Been using this for at least a couple of months now and I’m seeing great results! I am 56 years old and have mature skin. This has greatly greatly improved the texture tone and brightness on my entire face. It gives a nice subtle glow and feels amazing.This is very lightweight, and just has a very subtle smell of citrus. Barely noticeable though. My face feels very moisturized after applying. Not to mention this stuff has all the great and needed ingredients like vitamin E, witch hazel and hyaluronic acid just to mention a few.Also, I have extremely sensitive skin, but this serum does not cause any adverse reactions at all.The only con with the serum is, it absorbs almost too fast. I can barely get it spread around my entire face and it’s already absorbed. So I have been using a shot of my advanced clinicals peptide serum, and just add a squirt into the vitamin C serum, into my hands and then rub them both together, then it spreads amazingly over my entire face and neck with ease. I let this absorb for about 20 to 30 minutes, and then follow with my Roc Retinol Serum. The both of them together just work Magic.I can only highly recommend this, a must-have in my personal skincare arsenal. Enjoy! Give it a try.

I bought No7 cream w/vit C & have been using it abt a month, I saw the vit C facial serum made by TruSkin & thought I’d give it a try. This serum works, within a week I noticed results! I didn’t have to wait a month or 3 months, I use it in morning & in evening after washing my face & I cannot believe the difference. My face is smooth & soft & it looks tighter than it has in a very long time, I also notice fewer wrinkles & as we women get older, alot of us are looking to stay younger & get rid of some of those lines. I’ve been using No7 which is great & I added this to my daily regimen & it works. I’ll finish the No7 vit Ccream & start buying this. When I was looking for vit C for face the price range was from only a few dollars up towards $100 & there’s no way I’m spending $100 on a little bottle of serum or any makeup or skin care item! Great for use in the morning with face yoga! Tapping it in or patting it in instead of rubbing, seems to work best when i used this product. You need to use a moisturizer afterwards , though, because it is not extremely moisturizing and does not have a lot of slip unless you apply more product; but even then it evaporates quickly, and what happens to get left behind on the skin, absorbs but it’s a bit sticky. If you don’t want to use a heavy moisturizer on top of it or if you are skipping the sunscreen, you can spray on something light and moisturizing like rose water or glycerin water, and be good to go for applying your makeup or for bare-facing it. This serum does not have a huge scent, but what you can smell, is not at all offensive, which is perfect if you don’t like a lot of perfumy fragrance close to your nose. If looking for a daily serum, this one is a good, clean one to have on hand. I don’t notice a super plumping, hydrated, shiny, glow-y look from this product like i see with some serums, but you do get a clean, brightened, natural, and bit of a dewy look with this product. Plus, it is consistently gentle. Hope you try it! It is truly a good, clean daily serum to have on hand! By the way, it gently smooths the back of your hands, too! Works nicely underneath a moisturizing hand cream.

Really like this Vitamin C serum. I’ve been using for years now and have tried multiple brands. I found this one to be a touch thicker than others that I’ve used. This serum absorbs pretty quickly, like I can wait 1 or 2 minutes and follow up with the multivitamins and no issue. Other brands don’t layer as well and I’ll end up with looks like pulling on my face. Would recommend!Owner was nice to enough to check in to see how I like the products and if I had any questions. I, as a 50 year old woman, am constantly tweaking my skincare regimen. I watch all the skincare gurus and began using Vitamin C. Initially I used a popular brand (The Ordinary) and I gave it almost a year. Did not see any concrete results. I did a little research and landed on this serum. I believe I am on my 3rd or 4th bottle. I do not expect overnight results in my skincare. I am here for the long game. That being said, the dark brown sun spots around my cheeks have faded SIGNIFICANTLY! I wish I would have taken before and after photos. But my spots showed through my makeup. I’ve been using the vitamin C serum for over a year and love it. It actually works! However, the last couple times I’ve ordered it from Amazon, the serum has been dark, clumpy, and had to return which is an inconvenience (see picture). If you get a good quality order, I definitely recommend it. I will be looking elsewhere for this serum or search for another Vitamin C serum brand. Hope this helps!

I’ve been using it as part of a routine with the cleanser, and the day/night creams for over 2 months. No noticeable difference at this point, sadly, and my lines are NOT deep. I have some mouth creases, and some neck sag, but this has not helped at all so far…☹️Update- 5/23/2023While I still haven’t changed my mind with how I feel about the product(s)- I was using the whole line of cleanser, serum, day/night creams, I do wish to give a shout out to the customer service for this company.Erica reached out to me, and was genuinely concerned that the products didn’t work for me. I was offered a refund on the products, so I didn’t really lose out on anything except the irritation I experienced on my face & neck! LOL…She also recommended other products I may be interested in, but not in a “pushy” way, that would make a person uncomfortable. I would give this company, and it’s products a try- which I’m going to do again, just based on their great CS!

The results are unbelievable, Was a bit skeptical because all the reviews were from Caucasian women. I was slightly worried that my skin would not respond as well but I was quite mistaken.With or without makeup, my skin is bright, smooth and my spots are disappearing.One other result i am sure a number of people have not noticed is that your palms get softer too, i guess the residue on the palms makes it soft and supple.

I wanted to address the myth I’ve seen blasted all over the reviews posted here.I have heard for a long time that vitamin c and retinol cannot be used together. That they cancel each other out. It’s completely untrue. My problem is that I’ve heard it so many times. I believed it to be fact regardless of the sources I heard it from. Which is basically word of mouth by other women who do not hold a dermatological degree of any sort. I did my own research. And actual skin care experts that hold a degree say the opposite. Retinol CAN be used with vitamin c products. Successfully. They don’t cancel each other out. They work beautifully together. And vitamin c actually helps retinol work BETTER by stabilizing it and extending its effectiveness. It turns out that using retinol without vitamin c or any other potent antioxidant is keeping your skin from reaping all the benefits of using retinol!!! Which is why this serum is so important in your skin care regimen. You know all those expensive anti aging moisturizers you’ve been blowing your money on? Well……..without using this serum or any other serum close to this that has vitamin c in it prior makes your fancy skin cream ineffective. And we all want to get the most out of the money we spend to make our skin look fabulous. Don’t we?I’ve also seen reviews on here about this product complaining about the color change in the serum. Did they not read about the product? I states very clearly that it’s normal to see variations of color. Clear or cloudy. All depending on the time of the year the ingredients are harvested contribute. And it is very clearly addressed in the description of this product. Pretty much cancelling out any of the bad reviews made on this product.Ladies. If you want to make the most out of your skin care products. Read up on them first. That’s why the info is there. So If anyone has any complaints on this product. They are not using it correctly!!!!!I’ve included a photo in the first week of use. I will post more down the road. I am 40 years old. I smoked heavily for over 20 years(quit January 2017) and drank pretty bad too for 13 years before I got sober 7 years ago. My skin was terrible!!!! I have absolutely no makeup on. Just moisturizer and carmex lip balm. I use this product with a retinol moisturizer. I also take collagen daily as well. Hopefully this review helps clear up the myths of using certain anti aging products together. And their (in)effectiveness. Us ladies gotta stick together in this war on aging and kick some wrinkle butt!!!! Lol!💪💪💪
