This is nice replacement for my 2004 JD GX335 . They sent a new seat switch to fit the hole in the new seat and the new switch didn’t allow me to engage the mower blades or move the tractor . Easy fix , just uncliped the new one , put in my old one reinstall and all is working !5 star seat and fast shipping . It arrived 3 days early .

Got as a replacement for my OEM seat for my John Deere GX325, which finally fell apart after 22 years. JD doesn’t make the original seat, and the Deere substitute doesn’t look nearly as comfortable, and is more expensive.Shipping was fast. Seat was pretty easy to replace. Seat had the cutout for the seat safety switch. Seat is very comfortable and a close match to the one removed. Great purchase.

I was unsure at first about the seat, since it was so much bigger than the original JD seat…But I really like the better back support! It is well made and very easy to install, once I found the screws in the drain hole of the seat.

Replaces oem JD seat on 15+ year old riding GX335 mower. Easy to install and looks good. MUCH less expensive than what JD wanted. It does sit a little more. Firm and feels like you are sitting higher.Overall very happy with purchase!

As noted by another buyer, because of the design of the seat’s underside/mold, installation required the purchase of bushings to be installed to prevent the connecting rod from sliding back and forth. Also, the tractor wouldn’t remain operating until placing additional foam into the bottom of the seat to provide sufficient pressure for the safety switch to properly engage. Furthermore, the seat’s safety switch receiver seems a bit flimsy and, therefore, I hope it holds up over time. The seat is more comfortable than the OEM, and its higher back with a slight forward pitch provides additional back support over the JD stock seat.
