Holes in new product did not align with my tractor. I would have had to grind out the slots on the new seat to get the new seat to fit on tractor. I ended up just using the seat cushions and put them on the old frame. Certainly NOT ideal, but better than paying the 40% restocking fee and return shipping.

I was not happy with the overall quality of this product, it was not very similar to the original OEM part, and the instructions were awful. They claim you can use the existing seat belts with this seat using a 10mm screw. Ok….how/where? Upon trying to return, the email stated there was a 40% restocking fee!!!! Clearly not in the sale listing. I disputed, and was then told it would only be a 5% restocking fee and I had to pay for return shipping. Once they got their product back, they shorted my refund. Disputed again with Amazon. In my opinion, the restock fee is because they probably get a lot of returns. Buyer beware.

Seat switch plug does not match JD 5045E as it said it would nor do the bolt holes of the base. I had to modify each. The adjustment slide is not nearly as smooth as the original either.
