    My wife and myself are involved in a Christian outreach program thru letter writing. We usually print & send over a hundred letters a month and that means purchasing a least 2 boxes ( 500 envelopes) every year. This is a volunteer work & we cover all costs ourselves, so finding envelopes at a good price keeps our cost lower. These are good quality envelopes & have used this brand over the last 4 years.

    These envelopes are great! The blurring on the inside hides the contents well enough and the glue strips are super convenient. The price was amazing too for the amount of envelopes. Definitely recommend and will purchase again once I run out. Not that it’ll be any time soon though lol it’s a lot of envelopes per box.

    I suppose some people will say any envelope is great if you can place something in it, seal it, and send it off in the mail or whatever.But these envelopes, competitively priced, are definitely a cut above.They feel like an envelope you’d buy at an expensive stationery store.So many other envelopes I have used, and I prefer envelopes with the self-sealing strip, have sealing strips that are rather short and feel cheap and maybe not up to the job of keeping the envelope sealed.The self-sealing strip on these envelopes gives me confidence the envelope will remain sealed until opened by the recipient.With its many superior qualities, I consider these envelopes the Cadillac of envelopes.Highly recommended.

    Now for the price, this many envelopes seems like a good deal. I grew up with the internet, so the only mail I really received was Christmas cards. I ordered these for my small business, and it was a real bang for your buck. $.03/envelope or something like that. But being a business, privacy is important to us because it seems to always be in question these days. So we bought these for the privacy portion of their sales pitch.Long story short, they’re not thick enough to stop you from seeing what’s inside by just holding the closed envelope up to your ceiling light. It is just the silhouette, but still. So that is a con for sure.Other than that though, they close nice. They feel good, and they’re very long . Should be able to handle all normal pieces of mail you’d find yourself sending. Plus, 500?! Those numbers are no joke.

    These were about half the price of the Mead brand I usually buy and seem to be of equal quality. Very thin, and 30-40 of them will stack in my laser printer paper tray and print perfectly without jamming.A couple of commenters said the adhesive strip was too small or didn’t stick. The adhesive strip is narrow but seems to grab tightly if given a minute to bond. Maybe they got old stock that had dried out?The strip is very close to the opening and may stick to the letter as a commenter mentioned. Will have to check. Overall, a good product for sending out mass mailing and less critical items.

    I had no idea how annoying a bad envelope could be until we got some that had weird tabs that got in the way as you try to put your letter or invitation in the envelope. Specifically got these to avoid that and I love not licking every envelope anymore. The glue holds very well and you can’t see through the paper to what’s inside.exactly what we needed.
