Your child’s teacher will be so happy if you buy these. Yes they may be a little more expensive than the off brand but they are the best. As a teacher I can tell you there truly is a difference. They are easier to sharpen and to erase. They don’t leave a pink mark on your paper when erasing. Worth every penny.

Bought these pencils for several years while kids were in school (recommended for ages 8 and up). They do not break easily after sharpened and they are easy to sharpen. The writing quality is a good brightness. The pencil is not thick enough for smaller children (jumbo recommended).

We homeschool, so we have to buy ALL of our school supplies, and after trying cheap pencils a few times, every time being a disaster, these are all we’ve bought for a few years now. Strong, smooth, very centered lead for even sharpening, also well anchored in the wood, good quality area sees that don’t eat the paper or leave smudges. Shape makes gripping easier and prevents the pencils from rolling all over. This was the cheapest price per pencil we’ve found for these standard Ticonderoga pencils, and might actually get us through a full year now before we have to buy more!

These pencils should be required on every school supply list. Other pencils can never stand up to the quality of this brand. They sharpen nicely, and the eraser always works. There is no smudging or snapping off of a low quality eraser. They do not easily break, and stand up to middle school scribbles all day long. I wish parents truly could understand the difference this pencil makes. As a teacher, I recommend these 100%.

The title is a joke, but as a teacher, my fellow teachers know that these are quality pencils compared to some others you may buy. While you can get other pencils cheaper, they are made of cheap graphite and wood, and the erasers are just a joke. Not so with Ticonderogas. They truly are exceptional pencils, and they also come in “tactical” black, which is my personal favorite. If you are a fellow teacher who supplies pencils, save yourself some heartache later in the year and invest in these pencils. They are truly worth it.

As a public school teacher for many years, I have seen over and over that Ticonderoga truly are the best pencils. They don’t break easily. They sharpen well, have a nice dark mark, and erase well. Whenever I find a sale, I stock up!

It may have just been a bad batch, but many of these appeared to have broken lead on the inside. When I sharpened them, many broke off when they shouldn’t have. With that said, the lead worked great, as expected and so did the eraser!!

Nice pencils that sharpen well with my Afmat elec pencil sharpener which can give you a sharp or rounded lead. Cheap pencils don’t work as well and these are priced really well on Amazon. If you want quite decent pencils at a good price this is your bundle.

I bought these pencils for my son’s classroom, so I can’t say anything about the quality in the long term. I sharpened them with an electric sharpener before handing them to the teachers and didn’t have any issues. The tip didn’t break off while sharpening like some pencils do.
