I love these headphones. They sound really good and last a long ts a long time I bought my first set back in 2021 And recently purchased another pair. The only reason why I purchased a new set was because I bought it on a great deal not to say that they’re expensive but the price was good enough that I justified to buy myself another pair. My older pair are showing somewhere in tear. They kind of broke in one area, but I just macgyvered with some duct tape. Within the left year in the cushion the rubber is beginning to break down but it’s nothing more than aesthetics and doesn’t affect the sound quality. They’re just an all-around good pair of headphones.

The sounds quality through Bluetooth is great, provides for a nice music listening experience, good bass quality – as much as a mid-range headphone can have. Ability to customize through mobile app is a nice plus. Noise cancellation is surprisingly good, with several environmental customizations. The transparency setting is a bit noisy, but still effective.Very comfortable to wear – no fatigue after wearing for long periods of time (>6 hours). It can double as a phone call headset, which is another nice plus. The one downside is that the noise cancellation turns off once the AUX mode is activated – meaning the 3.5mm AUX cable is attached. My intent is to use this headphone for air travel, yet noise cancellation is cancelled (pun intended :)) once the device is plugged into airplane’s entertainment system. In all fairness, the user manual does state this is how the device works. If needing to use in planes and noise cancellation is a priority, one is limited to own devices for entertainment – sometimes not the best option.Perhaps the Amazon description can be updated to alert shoppers that are seeking air travel headphones, like me.

I work in a place with significant ambient white noise. My desk vibrates all day long. So I needed some noise cancelling headphones to wear 30 hours per week.Pros: super comfortable, 10+ hr battery life, pretty good noise cancellation, easy pairing, great build quality, good soundCons: kinda hot but that’s just because they have a solid seal around my ears with no airflow which enables the noise cancellationI wear these at work in an industrial environment. They are awesome. I wear them when I fly. Still awesome. I wear them when I work at home to ignore my family. Not because I want to ignore my family, but because I have to or I can’t get anything done. Still awesome. I’ve had them for nearly a year under this heavy used, and they are still flawless.I don’t have any experience with super-pricey noise cancelling headphones. These suit my needs, and I’m very happy with them.

4.5 stars! (knocked .5 for cons)pros!- pink color is VERY cute, pale pink!- noise cancellation is better than my airpods pro- foam earpads go around ears = more comfortable (comfy when wearing earrings too)- ability to adjust sound output/type of noise cancellation in app- works well with apple products (all buttons work, etc!)- aesthetically pleasing design- great price for the quality of the product- long, LONG battery life (used for 3 weeks for about 3-4 hours a day, only needed to charge after 3rd week)- nice protective carrying casecons!- when you accidentally brush the right earcup for too long, it turns on transparency mode. useful in some situations, but kind of an annoyance for me! definitely not a dealbreaker though.- the phrase “active noise cancellation” is written on both sides of the headband. this isn’t a huge issue, just something to note aestheticallyoverall!- great little set of headphones! if you’re on the fence, definitely buy!

i got these headphones bc it seems that everyone has been gravitating towards over ears instead of earbuds nowadays and i wanted to know what the hype was. i’ve done some semi-thorough research on a variety of different headphones. i didn’t wanna spend hundreds on something i wasn’t confident about and these had pretty good reviews and the price was decent.id say i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. most of the other headphones i was looking at looked cheaply made and didn’t have as many qualities as this one. they feel durable and secure, they’re not flimsy, even around the parts where they fold. they fit really well on my head and it’s not heavy at all, they fit perfectly around my ears and my industrial piercing. my biggest concern was my piercing and the headphones don’t even touch my piercing. i’d say i have a bigger head and they sit really nicely and it’s not uncomfortable at all. i dont even feel them after a while and forget that they’re on.the noise canceling is pretty decent. it’s not the best in the world but it blocks out a good amount of sound and with music on i dont hear anything. i’ve had it on outside and you can hear cars going by but that’s about it. the transparency mode is pretty good too, i like that you can easily switch to it by pressing on the right side.the sound quality is great. i’m not an audiophile, but i do like enjoying what i listen to. i like the app that it comes with and the fact that you can play around with the eq settings to get a custom sound. i think that you should definitely mess around with the eq settings bc it just sounds that much better when you find what sound you’re looking for. it honestly is comparable to the airpod pros that ive been using.the buttons all work and they’re fairly simple to use once you memorize what each one does. overall, i’d say that it’s a high quality pair of headphones and i’m very happy with this purchase. don’t pay attention to any of the bad reviews bc that’s one thing that discouraged me to get these but from what i can tell, these are great and i would buy them again.

I purchased these in July 2021 and they are working.Things I liked:- Battery life is great- Sound quality and features are great- Mic is serviceable for callsA few things that didn’t last over time:Build quality – they never felt bad or terribly creaky but the build didn’t last over time. That being said, I used these very regularly for almost 3 years now. I wore them on a single ear at times and would occasionally use them while working out so the faux leather on the ear cups has dregaded a bit over time (pictured). Also, one of the sides of the band had a piece break after around a year. After the initial break, the same side kept getting worse (pictured).Overall they’ve been solid headphones to the point that I am looking at the new Soundcore Space One model to replace them this year. Awesome headphones for the price!

The hybrid active noise cancelling feature is effective in minimizing ambient sounds, providing a more focused listening experience. While it may not completely eliminate all external noise, it performs admirably in most environments. While they may not be flawless, they provide excellent value for their price point. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of reliable, high-quality headphones.

I was so impressed with the sound quality of the headphones. I have the Bose Quiet comfort and bought these to travel with and they are very similar in quality at a much more affordable price. They are pretty comfortable and can be worn for several hours at a time. Easy to use and get connected to devices.

I’m not an audiophile, just someone who enjoys a nice audio quality, so these headphones suit me just great. Audio sounds great. Music and videos sound great. The manual that comes with the package is easy to read, and if you lose that, the accompanying app has a high-resolution document of the manual. I’ve never tried ANC before, so it was a little strange at first, but it works well. Of course, not all outside sound is able to be canceled out, but it’s noticeably quieter after the mode is turned on. I do have to say that sometimes, with ANC turned on, there’s this strange ‘heavy’ feeling, like increased pressure in my ears, and this feeling comes and goes. Though, that may just be my own problem, of course. These headphones feel quite light, not heavy at all. The only problem I’ve encountered for comfort is that the outermost edges of my ears touch the inside foam, and after extended wear (just sitting down, not moving around much at all), can be slightly irritating. So, if you have ears that stick out, this may not be comfortable for you if you wear these for long periods of time. The charging cord is quite short. This isn’t a problem for me, since I have a headphone stand with a USB port built in, but is something to consider. It does not come with a charging block/brick/adaptor, so you’ll need to have a spare USB brick lying around or switch out cords when you need to charge these headphones.I can’t speak on the battery life, just got these yesterday as I’m typing this, but overall, I really like these headphones so far. They’re easy to pair with my phone and tablet, simple to use, and does what I need it to do.

I previously owned ANC earbuds that fit in the ear from Anker which worked well, but I was having some issues with an in-ear device. I purchased this over-ear headset with the same ANC technology and was amazed with the sound quality and ANC in such relatively low price. A great value headset, and also supports multi-device connection. Just be aware — if you connect to two devices, it will not play simultaneously. It will mute one device when the other one begins making sound, and then switch back when the sound stops. However — this seems to be standard for multi-device as my Bose headset operates in the same way. With all that said, there is some room for improvement:- Compared to similar headphones from Bose, the button controls are less friendly. A power switch is better IMO than a button you hold down for 3 seconds as you can see at a glance if it is switched on or off and quickly toggle as needed.- The large touch surface of the right ear cup allows you to long press for transparency mode. This is nice, but if you ever stretch your arms above your head your bicep will trigger the long press. Slightly annoying.- The case requires you to put the headphones in a very specific folded orientation. There is a nice label inside the case to remind you of this specific yoga pose the headphones need to make in order to fit. If the mirror image would also work it would not be so big a deal, but it is like a classic USB port where you try, then flip, then try again.- I do like that there are physical buttons for volume, adjusting ANC, play/pause. However — they are placed exactly where you would grab when taking on/off the headphones or when adjusting the head strap. You have to train yourself to grab the headphones in a different way to avoid hitting these buttons accidentally.- I have not tried it myself — but I heard that in plugged in mode the ANC does not work. And I heard that it USED to work, but they removed this in a software update. It has not yet affected me as I have never used it in plugged in mode. But not ideal if true.

There’s not a lot to complain about with these headphones. They pair speedily via NFC and consistently find the last connected device with minimal delay upon startup. The battery life on them is excellent. I barely have to charge mine, and the audible notification on startup letting you know where your battery is at means you’re never caught off-guard.Multi-device pairing is good. Could be better, though – some apps don’t play nice with it, so switching over to another paired device after pausing may not work until those apps are completely shut down, but that’s only one or two apps – and not ones that I use as frequently as my main apps.Noise cancellation is pretty good. Wish there were more levels to it, but it catches almost all interruptive sounds. The travelling case is a nice addition, too for longer trips where it’s not practical to have the headphones on you all the time.Sound quality is pretty good for my non-audiophile ears.Solid headphones. Well worth it!

Honestly, I do not write reviews though… I bought two of these and they are very decent. For sixty us monies they are good. However i knocked a star off for many small issues.1. The largest of the small issues is they are simply NOT durable loads of duct tape on mine.2. The next issue is very niche, however if you plan on wearing these on the couch or head on a pillow ect, you will head even the softest fabric scratching very loudly at your ear drums.3. The noise canceling works only kinda and will not help with issue 2.4. This is also number 1 again cause the are so very inexpensive, they break like every single part save the functionality. Meaning the head band breaks, the slider breaks, the ear swivle breaks, the ear phone stuffing comes apart.5. The reason 4* still, they keep working if you tape them back together before the wires get ripped out. however as said in 4 every single plastic bit breaks.

Got these over ear head phones after trying a few other big brands and to be honest I couldn’t tell the difference between them (besides the price). The sound is great in them, and the different listening modes are great to switch between when your in the store and want to quickly go to pass through mode, or when you’re on the train or in your shop and want have noise cancelling mode to tune everything out. The fit is great and lightweight enough to not feel them all day long. The battery life is pretty incredible too! Even if I use it day after day it still turns on and says “battery high”and it really does keep going with no problem.

I’m not a high level audiophile, and I didn’t know there was a Soundcore app until reading the reviews for this, but I can tell when audio is compressed garbage or not. I bought these to use with my phone since I’ve managed to damage the audio port on it, and the last Bluetooth headphones I tried absolutely sucked, but I was happy with the product I have received. The battery lasts roughly 40 hours, not that I’ve been measuring it, and the charging is surprisingly fast. I have never had any comfort-related issues. My only complaint, if you could call it that, is that when you power them on they say “Battery High/Medium/Low”, and the battery % is only listed in increments of 10. High is 70-100, Medium is 60-20, and low is only at 10. Not really a big deal since the battery life is good and charging is fast, though.

Bought these for my teenage daughter who is obsessed with music. She was very happy with these headphones and wore them daily. Ten months in, and they stopped working. They’d charge, but then never power on. With skepticism, I pulled up the warranty and contacted Anker customer service, expecting to get some pushback, but lo and behold, the customer service rep, Malcolm quickly surmised we had done all the troubleshooting we could do and offered to send her new headphones straight away. He emailed me a pre-paid return label for the non-working pair so Anker could assess the issue, and within a week, my daughter had her new headphones. So, while it was disappointing that they lasted only 10 months, the fact that their stellar customer service and warranty pulled through, and my daughter now has a new pair that will hopefully last at least another 10 months, if not longer, earns a full 5 stars.

I used to have, many years ago, Bose headphones that I lost. I recall the ANC being fantastic, what I was in the market for, but I was not going to spend over $300 on headphones. After doing research, especially on headphones people who go to the gym enjoy, these were one of the highest ranked ones. While I can’t be sure how they hold up in the gym, I will test them in the near future, they are AMAZING regardless. The best part, in addition to the ANC, is the Soundcore app. You can customize what the headphones focuses on, for example elevated base, to customize your listening experience. Some may find it annoying to download, but I personally think it is worth it.The ANC, when compared to my old Bose, are great given the price. I could barely hear anything when not even using ANC. The transparency mode is fantastic if you want to pay attention to people talking around you as well. The sound quality, regardless of the mode you are in, is amazing. I don’t even have to go up to half volume on my phone to feel like I’m listening to max volume on my small ear buds (also part of the reason I wanted standard headphones).Regarding fit and quality – I personally don’t have an issue. You get what you pay for regarding quality, but I would say it seems pretty durable/strong. I have no issues with the fit of these headphones. However, that may be due to the size of my head. Again, I can’t make commentary on how they hold up in the gym, but I’m hopeful they won’t slide off/be a nuisance. Even if they don’t work in the gym, they would be great for any other setting like a coffee shop or public transportation. In summary, these Soundcore headphones are amazing ANC headphones at an amazing price. The ANC is good, the battery life is fantastic, and they are comfortable to wear. The sound quality is up there as well with plenty of ways to customize your experience with their app. If you are in the market for good ANC headphones, are a friendly price, GET THESE.Edit: Unfortunately these are not the best for the gym. They are better suited for lounging/not intense movement. They will slide off your head while exercising.

I gave these a really good run using them with different laptops and my cell. In each occasion they performed perfectly. No issues pairing. They are very comfortable with the padded ear pieces. The sound quality was great.I really like the sturdiness of the microphone and versatility of being about to switch from left to right sides ( like when I’m drinking coffee and working). The mic stays right where it’s supposed to, unlike some others I’ve used that slip down. The packaging was nice, very organized and instructions easily understood.I really like the charging stand. That feature comes in really handy and helps keep them charged up at all times. Battery life seems really good so far. They turn off and on easily by clicking a small switch. Mute works well and is easily accessible during calls. They seem durable and should hold up well under regular use. I’ve used these now a couple weeks and no issues whatsoever.Sound quality is good for the price but these are not noise canceling nor do they claim to be.I’m very happy with my purchase of this Bluetooth headset and would certainly suggest it to fellow co-workers and friends.

I spent about $60 on these and am pleasantly surprised with how good they are for the value. They come with too much bass in my opinion so you have to do a few adjustments. Anker has an app you can use with an equalizer. It’s not amazing but it works well enough. The sound quality after you make adjustments is awesome for a pair of headphones that’s under $100.Other positive things are the battery life, these things last absolutely forever and charge pretty quickly. The noise cancelling on these is amazing for a cheaper set a headphones. I can’t hear anything unless it’s very loud and right next to me if I have noise cancelling mode on. It’s very easy to switch between transparency mode and noise cancelling too. The comfort level of these things are amazing too. I’ve worn them for 6-8 hours at a time and there’s been no pain or discomfort at all. Please note that these do leak a lot of noise in both transparent and noise cancelling mode. Not something I care about but it’s good to know before buying them.Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend these to anyone that need a budget set of Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones.

Just got these delivered and this is my first experience with Anker headphones though I do also have a small portable speaker that has worked great for the price. This headset feels very well built and you can tell just by the general feel of the device- headband, cups, swivel points all feel hefty enough to last, nothing creaky, buttons have good tactile feedback and the controls are very easy to get used to coming from an older Sony model. The included case also feels very nice, I’m glad I got this over the lower model as the case alone is worth the upgrade.Paired via NFC to my Pixel 6 which worked perfectly (Love my Pixel but sometimes the NFC causes fits). Also paired up via BT to my computer which also was a painless operation.Sound- I have only about 2 hours of listening and my current daily is a Senn HD598 so it’s a very different type just because of the closed vs open aspect. Having said that I really didn’t take long to get accustomed to these and while I would never confuse them I thoroughly enjoy them at this point…just different due to design. I would say the Senns has a superior soundstage and they are more comfortable (not as warm sitting on my ears) where the Q30 is actually more comfortable at first it does get warm with the closed / leather cups vs open / velour on the Senn.Noise Cancelling- I am very new to the technology and you can run the headphones in Transparent, Normal and Active NC. I picked these up after trying on a Bose Quitecomfort in Costco and was impressed with it. Is this as effective? Doesn’t seem like it but if you have any reasonable volume playing with NC on I barely hear any traffic which unfortunately is just outside my balcony even with the windows open. Since this is new to me the closest thing I can compare it to is using my Pixel Buds in ear monitors- The Q30 definitely blocks more than those (they do not have active NC just the passive effect of being IEM). It’s enough that I can no longer hear my neighbors kids playing with their VR headset in the stairwell between our units…which is a big reason I decided to retire my Senn for now lol.I haven’t had these long to say how the battery life is or charging times but I used it right out of the box and was playing around with NC on it’s own and then listened to some of my favorite tracks for about an hour and it’s fine. When you power them on the headphones will say its battery level. When I first turned it on it said “medium” and after playing around with it for about 2 hours it’s still at “medium”.

My main purpose for having noise-canceling headphones is to blank-out the announcements on the city bus. They’re overly loud, overly long, and overly infantilizing and intrusive to my thoughts. It’s also nice to have the roar of the engine muffled, since I like to sit at the back of the bus. From carrying them daily for a year-and-a-half, my Karman-Hardon Fly NC headphones had become physically ragged, their battery capacity had dwindled, and their sound had lost volume (or so it had seemed). I had to admit that it was time for a new pair of ANC bluetooth cans. From the online research, reading reviews and watching YouTube videos, I figured that these Soundcore headphones would suffice for the ANC, audio quality, and the price. I can’t do $300+ for the good Sony or Bose, and I expect less-than-stellar audio from headphones considerably less expensive. (I also don’t want to pay that much for something that I’m going to run into the ground from everyday usage.) As long as the audio doesn’t insult my ears, it’s worth the mitigated annoyance of loud canned announcements. These Soundcore Q30s are alright. The ANC feature does its job right. The audio is full and with a lot of nuance, but it’s bass-heavy in a weird way. I try to use the custom EQ to flatten the sound, but the sliders on that GUI don’t respond the way that graphic EQ normally responds (I know from audio mixing), so it’s hard to arrive at a relatively-flat audio profile. It would be great if headphone designers, anticipating usage with an app for such a purpose, would design headphones with an unbiased audio profile, rather than trying to appeal to the nightclubbers with extra bass. It will take some more fiddling in order to arrive at an EQ setting that won’t shred my hearing with highs nor pummel it with lows. I listen to a lot of different types of music, and don’t need to be told what preset EQ on the app corresponds with which; they’re all kind of wonky.Lastly, I hate the internal voice announcements. Ironically, one of the reasons why I have ANC headphones is to cancel-out external announcements. There are no stating-the-obvious “power on/power off” announcements, but those for the battery level and for the transparency/noise-canceling toggling are stupid. The voice also gets in the way of what might be important to hear at the moment when it’s announcing “transparency,” which is, again, something ironic. It’s obvious when the transparency and noise canceling are going, but it seems that I just can’t make it through life without annoying and infantilizing announcements being imposed upon me.I gave Noise Canceling five stars; Audio Quality four stars despite its EQ bias; didn’t rate Bass Quality because it’s good but too much.

This is not sponsored, I am a real buyer who wants to give credit wear it is due. You would think these are expensive headphones given both the feel and the sound quality. I also appreciated the carrying case to store the cords. I enjoy how it relays the battery every time it is turned on as i have a problem with not checking and having them die. The buttons are very easy to find while in use and you don’t have to take the headphone off to find them. The options are what you would expect including toggling between noise cancelling, transparent and normal mode. I can’t rate the quality of the microphone because I don’t use over the ear headphones for this purpose. Too many times I’ve bought expensive over the ear headphones and been told that no one can hear me. With that said, I would be willing to try with these with how good everything else is. Overall, these completely destroy my argument of needing to spend $300+ to get anything worthwhile. If it was just the headphone, I would be satisfied, but the associated app is the best! It has a clean look and offers several features such as specifying the noise cancellation in different scenarios, ambient sounds and an equalizer which you can toggle for different types of music. The ability to adjust the noise cancelling to eliminate specific noise for indoor, outdoor and transit situations is great. In addition, the ambient sounds was a please surprise! I use it to focus with work although it’s purpose is for sleeping. Lastly, I haven’t used the equalizers much, but I’m excited to do so in the near future

I was looking for headphones that could compare to a microsoft or Sony and all the fancy stuff. Here’s a list of good and bad.Features of these headphones•Great audio for the average person• Noise canceling, transparency, normal mode (dedicated button on left ear and gesture feature on right)•Hand covering gesture to switch between noise canceling and transparency or transparency and normal mode (depends on which one is set first with the button^^^)•Easy use buttons (play, pause, skip, volume, etc) It takes time to get comfy with the button position but you’ll get it after a few days•long lasting battery (I can go around 10 days without charge using them 3-4 hours a day, 30-40 hours of music!)•usb c to usb charging cable and headphone jack•Matching hard case (zipper) and string pouch for cables•long lasting and mostly gym proof•Easy to clean sweat and makeup (I use rubbing alcohol around 70%)• Easy adjusting band/foldable•does not hurt for a few hours, even with glasses on (metal or plastic frame, does depend on your head shape, I have an average female head)•adjustable bass, etc on the app. I personally haven’t used it and find it’s not necessary. If your the average person/student these will be just as amazing as some $300 headphonesNegatives or not a feature•Small heads will have trouble with slipping (I have a pretty average female sized head, its fine for the most part unless I am laying down)•can slip down during a bench press or hip thrust type of position (anything where your on your back) Although it does survive some cardio on the treadmill on incline and stair master•No pause feature when you take one ear cup off. Sucks but really not a deal breaker for me, transparency mode kinda saves that at times(Not a negative but transparency mode is really great to enhance your surroundings if your by yourself and just walking out of the gym to your car, you’ll here those footsteps even louder!)Care Tips I’ve had mine since May 2022 and it’s been 1 year and a month now. I take care of my electronics and have no ripped fabric, broken plastic or messed up audio.• Use rubbing alcohol to clean sweat, makeup and dirt, don’t get it in the ports• Store in the case it comes with when your not using it, I have mine stored around 4/5 times I’m not using it•This is obvious but do not have liquids near it. On your desk or in your backpack, even if you trust your water bottle•another obvious tip, don’t throw or handle them roughly! If you have issues its probably your fault, could be a damaged product but chances are its you.

The Soundcore Life Q30 headphones are a great value for the money and are absolutely worth purchasing at this price. I’ll start with the good (which far outweigh the cons, especially for the money).THE GOOD:Sound is clear and rich, though it requires some tweaking in the Soundcore app. Changing your EQ settings is a slight annoyance since you need to open the app to do it, but short of having preset buttons or some complicated gesture, the app is the only option Anker has so I’ll let it slide. The noise cancellation is excellent and features three different profiles for different settings: transport (for public transportation and planes), indoor (for office and coffee shop environments) and outdoor (for ambient noise in “quieter city spaces”). I usually keep mine on “transport” mode because it cuts out white noise from fans (a godsend while cooking!) while still letting me hear enough to know if someone is trying to get my attention. The NC settings also allow you to use “normal” mode (no noise cancellation, though it remains pretty quite due to the good seal of the headphones) and “transparent” mode which amplifies outside noise so you can be aware of your surroundings or hold a conversation. As far as the physical hardware goes, the buttons are GREAT: they’re clicky and responsive. I appreciate the lack of reliance on touch-based “clicks” and gestures. There is one touch control I will comment on below. Otherwise, the headphones are pretty comfortable, do not get too hot, and seal well around the ears. The articulating cups move smoothly, though I would have preferred if they could be rotated in both directions. As-is, the headphones only allow you to rotate the cups towards your body when wearing them around your neck. The battery life is fantastic: I’ve only charged them once in over a month of owning them, though it should be noted that I usually use other headphones during my workday. The built-in microphone is quite good based on feedback from people I have had phone calls with. Additionally, the Bluetooth Multipoint connection is extremely handy: it’s allowed me to switch from listening to music on my computer to taking a phone call and switch from using my phone to streaming on an iPad with ease. The bluetooth range is great because I can walk pretty much anywhere in my house while leaving my device behind.THE NOT-SO-GOOD (but still not bad!):My main problem with these headphones is the fit: when you dial them in they’re pretty comfortable, but I have trouble getting them to fit right in the first place. No matter what you do their own weight will cause them to slowly slip which requires you to readjust the headband on a similar basis. I have a pretty big head yet I have almost no need to adjust these from their tightest position. These headphones are also quite prone to slipping if you bend over, so they do not lend themselves well to repetitive tasks which require bending over: working out and doing deadlifts, gardening, etc. While the material on the earcups is plasticky, fake leather, they do not get too hot which is a plus. The headphones have their bulk, but should not be too difficult to travel with especially if you do not mind hanging them from your neck. The fit hanging them from your neck is not the greatest, but it works. The included case is also pretty bulky, but does work to give you piece of mind when throwing these in a backpack or larger bag.I have not yet used these headphones in wired mode, but it should be noted that noise cancellation and EQ do not work in wired mode. Apparently the Q35 headphones address this, but I saw many reviews claiming other features did not work as well as they do on the Q30.My last (minor) gripe is activating “transparent” mode with the right ear cup: transparent mode is very loud. It doesn’t just let sound “pass through”, it actively amplifies outside noise. This can be pretty jarring when you accidentally activate transparent mode through the touch control on the right ear cup, especially because it’s accompanied by a loud voice saying “TRANSPARENT”. The voice announcing what mode you are using is distracting, annoying, and unnecessary. I also wish the touch control was something you held, switching to transparent mode while you are touching the ear cup then going back to noise cancelling when you release, but it is only a toggle. I feel that Anker could have allowed this feature to be tweaked in the Soundcore app, but there is no option to do so.All-in-all, these are great headphones for the $70-80 range and I doubt they can be beat. If you want a pair of over-the-ear headphones for the office or home, it will be hard to find a better value.

st perfect. These headphones get nearly a perfect score. Let’s focus on the bad, then move into the good. The bad-Limited Bluetooth Volume Control – The volume control that is designed to keep you from hurting your hearing also works against itself on certain occasions. Sometimes you must play an audio track that is by default lower then it should be, maybe the YouTuber uploaded a lower quality of the song and it comes in at half volume. Well your out of luck now, the headphones think your at full volume and restricts you to playing the maximum audio at only 50% or less volume. This is extremely annoying and if it was not for the ability to install an audio overboost app I would have returned these headphones for this very reasonBass quality – if you are a bass lover at max volume, then these headphones are probably not for you. The bass sounds excellent from low to med volume, but pump it up to the max on a bass heavy song be it rap or techno, and it probably can’t handle most of what you throw at it. The bass fades into the background or sounds too blown out trying to do what it cannot. (*Tip for bass heads looking for a pair of good bass headphones. – skull candy makes a competitive version that is directly designed for bass) So if you only play bass heavy music at full volume, you should probably pass on the Q30.Price- At nearly $100 retail, that is just too steep for these headphones because they are “nearly perfect” not “perfect”. I got them on sale for $60. That seems to be a more suitable target price for the Q30.If they are able to fix the problems that are highlighted in this review, this would turn these into the perfect universal headphones. The Good -Excellent Sound Quality – Sound comes in crystal clear.Excellent Bluetooth Range – I can walk around my entire home without fear of disconnecting from my audio source. Older style headphones cannot even handle a couple of feet, let alone an entire home.Excellent Battery Life- Battery life is excellent. I have yet to fully drain this headset even after using them for a full 40 hour work week.Excellent Phone Calls- Phone call quality is awesome. Comes in crystal clear both thru the headset and microphone.Excellent noise cancelling- Excellent ability to noise cancel or not to noise cancel. At the click of a button you can go from hearing conversations or noises in the room, to pure silence.Excellent EQ App – Adjusting the equalizer with the app makes *a huge difference*. Gives you the ability to adjust how the song plays dramatically. I am impressed at how much of a difference it can enhance the song from great to amazing. I just wish the app had the ability to auto adjust, so that I do not have to keep going back into the app and adjusting for different songs. They do have a universal mode but it is way too conservative. You can also make your own settings which can help enhance the songs sometimes even more then the pre settings.Excellent Carrying Case – nice quality carrying case includedOverall these headphones are nearly perfect. Redeveloping loudness control and bass would send these headphones into the realm of total perfection. Thanks for reading and I hope this review helps!

od value ANC if you get it on sale. Noise cancellation: I’m sensitive to loud noise, so I wanted headphones that could drown out the air conditioning, children running on wood flooring, and yelling in my household. When I am listening to music or playing video games, noise around the house is dulled enough that I can’t hear it. Noise just outside my door is muted to the point that it is not irritating. The passive noise isolation is mediocre, maybe due to the fit, but I find the active noise cancellation to be work well, so I always have it in ANC mode. These are my first pair of headphones with ANC so I can’t compare it to any other brands, but for my needs they work well.Comfort: For reference, my daily work headphones are JLab Rewinds which weigh just 2 oz. The Soundcores are heavy to me. Some days, I can wear them all day without problem. Other days, the weight is fatiguing and I won’t want to wear them for more than a couple hours. If I am rocking out, head banging will not fling these off my ears. However, I cannot lie down without them falling down. As for size, these are just a tad big on my smallish head even on the smallest setting, so I wish they could go a little smaller.Construction: The material on the ear cups and head band cushion feel like it will rip easily if you’re not careful. The plastic looks cheap, but I like the matte finish. It doesn’t really fold, so the case is pretty big; if you bring it on an airplane you definitely need a backpack or tote bag to carry it in.Battery: I use them for 2-6 hours a day. I haven’t charged them in over a week, and even after accidentally leaving them on all night one time, there’s still 20% left.Amazon: It came shrink wrapped, so I thought I was getting a new product, but there’s a black scuff on one of the headphones, so I’m not actually sure how new they are.

luetooth headphones at a fair price!. I bought this pair of headphones for use at work, because they are wireless and feature noise canceling. I’ve owned a number of brand name earbuds and headphones over the years from Bose to Beats to Apple AirPods pro. I wasn’t expecting a great sound from these and boy was I surprised!!!I was also surprised about their range. I could go upstairs, in all rooms and came back down with absolutely zero distortion or break up of the signal. I then went into the basement and walked to the furthest point away from my phone (which I left on the couch upstairs) Still… zero breakup or distortion. I would have gone outside to see how far I could go in the yard, but it’s dark and already winter here, so I leave that little test to you. I’m satisfied with the range for my purposes.Noise canceling? I have dogs and can still hear them bark. I could not hear the water running in my bathroom and could not hear a flushing toilet. I only want to muffle my co-worker’s voices, so I think the level of noise cancelling these headphones provide will be adequate. I’m not 100% they would cancel out the noise of an airplane, but they would probably significantly reduce the sounds of take-off and landing.Other things that I liked/disliked about this pair of headphones? Well, it came with a handy well-made case. I’m not a fan of the short charging cord, but I imagine I could buy one that is longer.Things I am on the fence about? The headphones are pretty big. I couldn’t make them smaller. So, there was a perfect-sized piece of foam in the case that I pulled out and stuck (sticky side down) on the inside of the business that goes over your head. Boom! Now the headphones feel less big and don’t move at all when I move my head. It would have been nice if they could have adjusted to make them smaller. On the other hand, that might have made them too tight and created headaches if left on too long. So, I’m on the fence… but believe the foam solution will work fine!To recap, if you’re looking for an inexpensive pair of over the ear, noise canceling, Bluetooth headphones, look no further. I’m thrilled with the price and the sound quality!!! I could care less if they have a brand name.

ese headphones for about a year and a half now and I absolutely love them. I’m verrrrry rough on headphones and usually buy cheaper ones just because I know they won’t last. I decided to spend a bit more on these and I’m glad I did.At first, I was worried about their durability, because they seem to be made of a relatively brittle plastic. However, I have sat on/dropped/rolled over them in my sleep and every time they’re just fine! I attribute this to the way they swivel and fold, and all the joints there being nicely reinforced. But that’s not the best thing about these headphones! Despite using a weird usb type (and I had to buy a longer one because the included powercord is like 3′) it does charge REALLY QUICKLY, and you really can get hours of use from a 5-minute charge. I also listen to obnoxious bass-heavy edm at full volumes, and the battery lasts a genuine 40+ hours, it’s kind of crazy! This is all while using active noise-cancellation, which is also pretty excellent on these headphones. It’s touch-activated, too, which makes me feel like I’m in the future and works flawlessly. To note, even after 18months of use, I don’t sense any significant battery degradation with daily use.I’ve had ZERO issues connecting the bluetooth to my laptop, tablet, or phone. Works easy every time. Apparently the mic works well too, I’ve never had any complaints so long as I have the cups on the right ears.Music quality is, in my opinion, excellent, and while I’d always like MORE bass, it definitely registers. The cups will shake around your ears at all the right times and that’s good enough for me. Note that I’m not exactly an audiophile, but it all sounds great.Would recommend these to anyone and would love to buy more from this company in the future.

Let me preface this by saying that I bought these mainly for the noise cancelling, to use both to focus when working/watching media on my PC and to mitigate external sound when sleeping. I actually don’t really listen to music that often and can’t say much about the audio quality beyond “it’s acceptable”. I do have many things to say about the other two use cases though. When using it on the PC :As long as you plan to use it by BT you should be fine. I had some trouble getting it to connect at first but I blame that on my PC being old (Win 7), I made it work somehow by using a newer BT dongle, the fact that it somehow works at all on such an old setup is a plus to me, whether this was intentional or not. There’s two inconveniences though :1.- Even though you can connect by 3.5mm, the product listing doesn’t tell you anywhere that NC or EQ features are not supported during this mode. What’s worse, apparently the feature WAS supported a few years ago, but it got disabled by a firmware update somewhere down the line because of some bogus reason (the fact that more expensive models that came after this still support the feature is kinda fishy too). If you were an old user, this was a choice, whether you wanted to update or not, but new buyers will find that the product now ships with the latest firmware when you buy it, so you’re stuck with it. I wouldn’t blame you if you just assumed NC should work over 3.5mm, as it is a normally a standard feature in this price range, even worse, a lot of the reviews out there on the product are from the time when the feature was available, so people deciding to buy without doing research or based on old information are in for a bad surprise. As it is now, when you use 3.5mm the logic part of the headphones is completely turned off and only the speakers work, so you’re left with the regular unfiltered sound, and to put it frankly, the audio quality like this is terrible and not worth it, do not buy these if you plan to use 3.5mm at all, you’ll be sorely disappointed.2.- Speaking of NC and EQ, those features have several options that can be adjusted to your liking through a phone app. This is a good thing as the default config may not suit everybody’s use case, what’s not so good is tying these adjustments to a phone app only. Why do I have to switch over to my phone when I want to adjust a setting on the fly instead of being able to do it directly from my computer? What if something happens to my phone or the app stops working/gets pulled from the store sometime in the future? A PC app would have been a great alternative, and being able to modify some of the options just by using buttons would have been even better. When using as a sleep aid :This is gonna be a very picky and niche use case, but sometimes, I may be woken by unexpected noise in the middle of the night, at that point I like to be able to grab my NC headphones and put them on as soon as possible, without having to think too much about it or turn on the lights, to be able to go back to sleep. This product fails in that regard in several ways.First, the case that they ship with : The headphones only fit in when you fold them inwards a specific way, taking them out and unfolding them is a bit cumbersome and I wish they would have given you a bigger case in which the headphones fit normally without doing this. I think the idea is to make it so it takes less space when packing them or something, but the case is fairly big as it is, so if you want to save space you’re probably gonna take them out of it anyways. Should keep the folding ability but make the case itself bigger so you don’t need to store them folded.Turning on the thing is also unnecessarily complicated, the power button is same size and shape as every other button, and you have to hold it for 3 secs to turn it on, again, not the fastest or easiest thing to do in the dark. My generic brand headphones from similar price range but much older have a single slide toggle switch, it’s size and shape are different from the other buttons and turning it on just takes a flick, I would much have preferred something like that.Once the thing is actually on, turns out it will turn itself off after a few minutes if it’s not paired to anything. So if you want to just use the NC by itself, though luck, you better have your phone nearby with BT turned on so you can connect to it, even if you don’t play anything on it. Again, not the fastest thing to do when you’re on bed.Lastly, and this is a minor gripe, the device has an LED status light to indicate whether it’s ON, in pairing mode, etc. For some reason the thing is perpetually blinking regardless of state. I can understand for pairing mode, but why not just make it solid when it’s actually connected? If I take off the headphones and lie them around on my desk and forget about it, I can’t tell from a quick glance if they’re ON or OFF, I have to stare carefully for a few seconds to see if the blinking comes on and what color it is to know what’s going on. Annoying.”Better sleep” function :This is a feature of the app, it is not highlighted that often but a few reviews mention it, as one of the few people that could make use of it, I will give my thoughts on it : It’s basically a white noise machine, you have a few white noise loops to choose from and you can adjust the volume of each one individually so you can mix and match to your liking, so for example, you can have loud rain with faint sounds of birds in the background or vice versa. You can also set a timer for how long this will play for. It’s a handy feature but nothing exceptional, the stock noises are limited and may not be of everybody’s liking, the loops also feel kinda short. I find myself using mostly the rain only. If you’re into this, chances are you probably already have your own long white noise loops saved on your phone anyways, which would work just as well.Good things :Putting all that negativity aside, I do think the hardware itself is very good at this price range. The NC has 3 different settings and is worth trying them all out to see which one works better for your environment, it won’t silence everything a 100%, but it works much better than my previous cheapy headphones, and I doubt you can get much better NC at this price range. The headphones are comfortable and I have no problem sleeping with them or wearing them for hours. Is hard to tell how well the build will hold over time, but after a month of usage, nothing has broken yet. The battery is LONG and I only have to charge it once a week if anything. Although it’s not something I was even aware when I bought the product, turns out it has a built in mic and it’s surprisingly good quality, I have been able to do many long voice calls with it with no complains about the quality from the other party so far.Overall, despite the poor user experience and having to adapt to its many quirks, I do find this product useful and plan to keep using it in the future. I just hope when/if I upgrade sometime in the future, that the newer products on the line don’t suffer from the same usability problems.

Long story short, sound is great with added bonus of being tunable to any preference via EQ App, battery life is top notch, ANC is great for the price range.Build quality is all plastic but the good kind and should last a while if you treat it right but the biggest gripe is the latest update for the EQ App which disabled the ability to use EQ settings while using an AUX cable defaulting the sound to muddy undefined mess would recommend to use these exclusively as wireless headphones. Here’s a breakdown of my cons, pros and thoughts.Pros-Price & Sound:Looked over and tested them out against my XM4s and if you’re on a budget the Q30s, with a bit of tweaking, can often sound BETTER than those more expensive all thanks to the flexibility of the EQ customisation which I absolutely recommend anyone who plans to nab these cans to do.Battery life:The battery life of the Q30s trumps just about every pair of wireless cans I have in my possession.I’ve tested these cans for 2 weeks with both ANC on and off both at full charge and clocked in:ANC ON: 38-42 HoursANC OFF: 58-61 HoursANC:Works great, not the best mind you considering its price range but punches well above it’s weight perfect for flights or blocking annoying people. Has 3 different modes too that you can toggle through but I never notice the difference between 2 of them being outdoors and indoors. Transparency is pretty average but does it’s job.EQ App:The App is extremely easy to use and enables some really nice flexibility to enhance your listening experience and pushes these headphones far beyond what its price point shows, there are 20+ presets to choose from depending on genre but for me and alot of people, Piano sounds the clearest and from there you can tweak the preset and save it in one of many spare slots on top of this, whichever preset you used last it will save unto the headphones so even without your phone or app, the moment you connect with a device via Bluetooth, the Q30s will play audio with the custom preset.Neutral-Build:All plastic with a metal headband, not bad, but not great either. The plastic is thick and sturdy not the cheap creaky type so thats pretty good, ears fold in nicely and the fit is nice and snug good for medium and small sized head.Comfort:Pretty comfy plenty of space for ears in the cups you wont feel much pushing in due to the way the internals are actually tilted a bit, though, clamp force is kinda weak and they can slip off easy.Cons-EQ App:Strange how this is also a con, well, eveything works well WIRELESSLY until you connect using an AUX cable, you lose all access to the app and your presets and the headphones default to a muffled mess, it’s not exactly terrible but the drop down going from sounding like 300 buckaroos to hot farts isnt exactly desirable, all this because of an intentional update from the company itself.Wired mode:Doesn’t suck as bad as people make it out to be BUT when comparing wireless mode to Aux mode…?Yeah its a big drop, but you’ll get use to it, until you jump back to wireless mode.Summary:Great headphones, seriously, the only real downside is the company’s stupid decision to purposefully disable a feature a lot of people loved.Otherwise the Q30s are a strong pair of budget BT ANC headphones priced real nicely, buying these will gurantee satisfaction for a majority of listeners.
