I have purchased this particular pen before and loved it. I am a pen fanatic and collect way too many. This one is my usual go-to. I have one in my purse, next to the couch, in my car, and multiple in my home office.It glides so smoothly. The ink dries fast. It has a comfortable grip. The fine tip is not overly skinny. This is by far the brand’s champion. All this for a fair price.

I usually write with a fountain pen like the pretentious teacher I am: but these replaced that for me.They write smoothly, roll on the paper, are non-smearing, and last forever. I have actually used up several of these pens instead of losing them. They are comfortable in my hands, the grip feels ergonomic, and I get far less hand fatigue using these than any other pens.They work well for jotting notes, for writing corrections on papers, lists etc.5 stars.

As an avid hand writer, I use pens a lot. The pen I use is very important to me in terms of both comfort and performance. I need a pen that has amazing grip while also having smooth as butter ink.For the longest time, 6ish years, I would only use one brand and type of pen. The Papermate Inkjoy pens. I don’t know if they have a model name, but they are the ones that look like long tubes (iykyk). I was dearly in love with these pens and at the time that was the smoothest pen I had ever used. Very little ink smear too. The physical feeling in my hand of writing with it and the smooth glide was unmatched. But I never did like how it looked or felt. I always thought they were unsightly and uncomfortable but that is something I sacrificed in order to have THE perfect penmanship. It was something I simply adjusted to.Until one day, I decided that life isn’t about settling for something just because you’re afraid you won’t find something better. I have done that my whole life and at the ripe old age of almost 30 unfortunately, I realized that it doesn’t have to be that way.So, I came to Amazon in search of my replacement. I looked and I looked and I looked. Nada. I have a lot of experience with pens and I can often tell how they will perform just by looking at them. All I’d see is garbage. Pens that smudge. Pens made of uncomfortable plastic. Pens that claim they’re fine point when really they’re thicker than a CVS receipt folded in half 10 times.I nearly gave up my search. I thought to myself “well maybe it’s not so bad. The hand cramps are worth it because no other pen can write like this one does”.And then I found it. The Sharpie S Gel. When I laid eyes on it, I was skeptical, but for some reason I just had hope that this might be the one. I got my package and immediately tested them out. And I was in awe. These pens have even better, even smoother glide than the Inkjoys, AND they’re built perfectly causing no cramps or hand fatigue whatsoever. These pens have everything the Inkjoy had and far more because now I can write away with no repercussions.These are my forever pens now and I can’t believe I went all that time convincing myself that there would never be a better pen.-woman who really likes pens

solutely love love love these Sharpie pens. I used to use nothing but the typical ink stick until I tried these!! I will never go back to anything else. I do a lot of writing and go through one pen week. I like the weight of the metal pens so I actually use the ink inside the plastic ones to refill my metal sharpie pens.Sharpie you knocked it out of the park with this one!!
