I quit buying masking tape years ago after so many years of buying cheap masking tape that would tear on the roll while trying to peal it off to use. This tape has medium adhesion and grips fine and pulls off without much resistance when applied. Pulls off the roll with ease and no tearing.

We all know masking tape is easy to work with but maybe not as strong. Scotch masking tape is pretty strong and has worked for me. I have it my own toolbox. My husband has come to ask me if he could borrow my tape. Ha ha imagine that.

This purchase was nothing unusual. I try to keep at least one full roll of masking take in the shop. I got down to a few yard left on my roll so I bought another (this) one.I only use Scotch brand. When I tried the el cheapo off brands, I found that they didn’t always come off the roll and keep tearing down the middle. So – Scotch brand.Am I a satisfied customer? Yep. I was searching for a great priced masking tape for taping of my screen printing screens. I ended up picking this one out and it’s pretty good. Below I’ll list my thoughts:Value: Good price for so much product!Adhesion: While I am using this on mesh, the previous masking tape I used stuck on very well (even after washing with soap and water). This sticks just enough to stop from bleeding but comes off very easily when rinsed with water. I think for use on paper materials this will work fine.Thickness: I believe this is probably the standard thickness of all masking tape. Much thinner than I personally expected, though once again the previous tape I had was thicker.Overall: I think this is pretty decent, it definitely depends on the use you are planning on for it.

Purchased the Scotch Masking Tape to label my bins for storage. Although the tape is easy to rip and write on due to its size, the adhesion is questionable. Multiple times I had to use more tape to hold the original tape in place. The Length of the tape is very good for the price but you will potentially need to use more of it to hold it place 3 out of 5
