REVLON One Step Volumizer Hair Dryer and Styler | Less Frizz, More Shine, and Less Heat Damage for Fast and Easy Salon-Style Blowouts, for all Hair Types and Lengths (Black)
$60.00

This thing is fantastic. My normally flat, thin, fine hair that tends to be frizzy and dull is now voluminous, straightened, smooth, shiny; it is literally such a big difference vs air drying or even straightening it with a flat iron. Definitely buy this if you would like to style your hair in 10 minutes or less.

Omg I don’t know why I didn’t buy this years ago! I have long thin hair, sometimes called thick depending on what it looks like. I just section it and do the bottom half then the top left then top right, it works so well and it does get hot so be careful. You can curl the ends for more volume, even front bangs look so cute!! Hair comes out soft and full(use oil/heating spray) Make sure you twist one full round to get the best air flow when gliding and to not let the heat touch your face.

I have naturally curly hair which even drying with a hair dryer and large brush still leaves some frizz at my temples and sideburn area. This styler is amazing. I didn’t think it would work all that well, I just wanted to have a brush with the dryer built into it. I had one years ago and never found a reasonably priced one since. This is a game changer for me and I’ll be buying another one just in case this one stops as some of the reviews indicated happened to them. It’s not has bulky and heavy as I thought it would be from the picture. It’s easy to use. I started on the high temp for areas around my face and then lowered the temp down. My hair was dry in half the time. I have shoulder length hair. It lifted the hair off my head and it stayed that way until the next washing. It left my hair smooth with no frizz. Love this thing!!

The REVLON One Step Volumizer PLUS Hair Dryer and Styler makes my straight hair smooth, and gives some volume. It’s so easy to use and you get done with your hair in half the time it would take to use blow drier and a brush. It works exactly as described and is larger & more powerful that I imagined. If you want to get rid of frizzy hair and look you you have been to the salon this is the tool for you.

My third time buying this!! I loveeeee it. After several months and seeeveral uses the brushes start to bend but for the price it worth buying a new one. I take it everywhere with me. I love that it drys AND styles my hair so I don’t have to add double heat. It has a cool, slow heat, and high heat mode which is helpful. 10/10

The product is easy to handle while using it drys hair well no problem it was bigger than I thought it would be only problem is tik tok made me buy this product and it doesn’t give the same blow out vibe think the brush part could have tighter spaces between them otherwise everything with the quality is good.

I’m not the best person to “do” my hair especially since I’m 44 years old and I don’t know much about makeup and hair etc so I did a little research on getting a good hair dryer/brush once I got a really nice haircut. It is extremely simple to use and I actually didn’t open the instructions and just used some heat protection serum and took sections and pulled it through and under with the brush and it dried my hair very quickly and gave me the volume that I was looking for with this new haircut. I also love the price as well. I won’t use it every time I wash my hair but it’s worth it for the times I want it to look like I just left the salon. I love it!

It is big yes but I have shoulder length hair only. The noise is pretty loud though. But it’s easy to use, especially for traveling. Hair looks great and soft after. The quality is also good. No attachments here just the brush. It gets pretty hot.

I need to let my hair dry for about 15-20 minutes before using this. Even with towel dried hair my hair has too much moisture, but I had to do the same thing with the regular dryer too.I have below the shoulder length hair- I find that by pinning my hair into sections (top/bottom layer) then drying works well. Very similar to what I did with a hair straightener-Make sure you use a heat protectant! I use pure energy leave in conditioner and Olaplex6 for smoothing (Used both of these when I used a brush and regular dryer)- I could see someone very easily damaging their hair if they overused the dryer or if they didn’t use it protectantI still have to use my hairdryer for the roots at the top of my head. The brush on this is quite large and yes, it does lift under the root, but I don’t like to leave it there as it gets too hot. I finished drawing the sides in the back. The whole process takes me About 10 to 15 minutes- With regular brush/ dryer, it took me about 25 to 35 minutes to dry my hair- ( if I wanted a decent style and finished look)

Certainly! Here’s a review for the Revlon One-Step Volumizer:—**Review: Revlon One-Step Volumizer**I recently purchased the Revlon One-Step Volumizer, and I have to say, I really like it! This tool does exactly what it promises. It provides great volume and smoothness to my hair, making it look like I just stepped out of a salon.A word of advice: don’t use the Volumizer on completely wet hair. I find it works best when my hair is 50% to 70% air-dried. This not only speeds up the styling process but also helps to prevent potential damage from excessive heat. The only drawback I’ve noticed is that the middle part of the handle, where you grab it, tends to get quite hot during use. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something to be mindful of to avoid discomfort.Overall, the Revlon One-Step Volumizer is a fantastic tool for achieving a voluminous, sleek look with minimal effort. Despite the heat issue, it’s a worthy addition to my hair care routine.—

I love this brush!! My hair is so thick, course, and frizzy, and this is the only blow dry tool that works for me. And it is easy to use – way easier than a normal blow dryer and round brush. The only downfall is that hair gets stuck in it, but I just cut that out and clean it every few uses. Also good to put dry shampoo in and run this through your hair – makes it look like a fresh blowout.

Easy to use, even with my tiny hands. Able to easily manipulate rounding my hair with the brush and not getting the hair entangled. I am able to straighten my hair without frizz. I am also able to having lovely curls. The drying is quite quick which was surprising as my hair normally takes a long time to dry.It works very well and the price was very good.

This does work well. It drys my thin, fine hair quickly. It is easy to adjust the power and easy to figure out how to use. I will say that it maybe isn’t my favorite for my current length, which is right above my shoulders. I think I’m really going to like it when my hair is longer again.

This dryer is amazing. My hair can be pretty frizzy at times-especially if I blow dry it. I was amazed at first, how quickly this tool dried my hair! I have shoulder length hair and it goes from damp to dry with only about 8 minutes of styling. It’s also super easy to use! I am not talented in the hairstyling department but this was super simple and straight forward. But, the best part was the results! This dryer made my hair so smooth, soft, and it helped to keep the ends neat. Usually I would need to blow dry my hair first then straighten it to get rid of the frizz. But, I don’t need to use a straighter if I dry it with this tool! After years of struggling to style my hair I wish I could have found this sooner.

Oh man I love this blow dryer !!! Gives such a nice hair blow out. Creates a nice bounce, shine, curls, and it gives my hair (thin hair) thick body. I purchased the same one from Costco and it doesn’t compare to this one. The chord doesn’t get stuck, the hair doesn’t get tangled by the handle, it’s wider, easier to handle. Must purchase

This product has some very good points and one not so good point. If you have curly hair, it works well to straighten it. It will give you pretty good volume and take a lot of the curl out the issue is it doesn’t really curl your hair if you have wavy hair and you blow dry it. If you are looking to use this to curl your hair while blow drying it, it will not work. It does blow dry your hair quickly and nicely and give you body but next day it’s pretty flat overall it’s a decent product If you are going out somewhere quickly and want your hair to look nice , I would use it. It’s a good price as well. It gets decently hot.

This was referred to me by a friend. I really like it. If you have a hard time using both a hair dryer and a brush together this is easy to use and give nice volume to the hair. Being a hair stylist for a long time, my only negative would be the temperature controls. High is very hot, low is still hot ( should be warm) just a slower fan speed. Maybe those settings are good for thicker hair. I’ve been using the cool setting and it’s working well. I have finer hair and the high setting is to hot for my hair type. Good price too !

I bought this because I have short hair with crazy cowlicks that can be super flat one day and wild and untamed the next. I never learned to use a curling iron, and hot rollers make me look like a frizzed out poodle. So I pretty much only blow dryer and brush my hair, and, as would be expected, that often didn’t fix my hair woes.I took a chance on this product, and I’m happy I did. This is easily the best thing since sliced bread. Not only does it dry my hair, but it allows me to tame the cowlicks and volumize my hair at the same time. It is super easy to use (essentially brush and twirl). While I do use a conditioner with heat protection, this product has enough heat control that I never feel like I’m going to scorch my hair. The best part, I can dry and style my hair in 5 minutes. A big win for the lazy low maintenance girl.My one criticism is that the product is big and a little bulky. It works on my short hair (think bob cut length) but it can feel a bit heavy. Still, I love it and would recommend it.

I love how EASY this is to use. My hair dries in a matter of minutes. I have zero hair-drying skills and this tool is relatively fool proof in giving a sleek, smooth blowout with a gentle curl at the end (you could make the curl tighter if you wanted). Previous reviews mentioned that this was extremely loud but I didn’t find that to be true – no louder than a hair dryer. I’m on the petite side and it is very easy to handle. I am pleased all the way around!

Honestly, I was apprehensive about using this at first. I read a lot of the reviews and even considered getting a cheaper option. But trust me, this hair dryer brush is a must have for everyone! I have very fine thin hair and love how it looks after a blow out, but I have never been coordinated enough to do the magic that my hair stylist does. This dried my hair quickly, made it smooth (I have some natural wave in my hair) and gave it volume! I hate using volumizing products because I have not been able to find one that doesn’t make my hair crunchy. I uploaded a picture of my results – I only used a heat protectant spray on my hair. I usually use a straightener but didn’t have to! Also, I had no problems at all with my hair getting tangled in the bristles.Tips: use the low heat setting for fine/thin hair, DEFINITELY use a thermal protectant on your hair before drying it!

I like the fact that this is not just a blow dryer, but also a hair straightener and a volumizer all in one. My hair gets really nice and soft and creates that volume that I need to make my hair really nice and sexy. It doesn’t take a long time for me to use this; probably 10 minutes max. This is by far my favorite blow dryer hairbrush ever.

It’s made getting ready so much easier and faster. The brush design makes it simple to style and dry my hair at the same time, which is a huge time-saver.I’ve found that it’s more efficient when I dry very small sections of my hair with it, although it’s not as convenient for larger sections. Still, it’s much easier than using a traditional blow dryer, especially for us non-professionals. However, this also means we need to be careful with the heat to avoid any damage.

I couldn’t be more pleased! Salon-perfect, shiny, bouncy blow outs! Dries and styles in one or two easy passes ( on damp hair) and provides maximum lift if I style it that way. Easily dries and styles large sections of hair making this THE BEST hairstyling tool I’ve used to date! ( Licensed cosmetologist 30+ years). Highly recommend! I use the low setting and cool blast. Surprised and very happy that I dont need med/high settings. Only caveat I have come across so far: the temp/speed setting is in an awkward place to be able to change it while using. Learning curve, I suppose. Otherwise, another GREAT styling tool from Revlon! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

“Whaaaat??” “Are you kidding me?! Are you KIDDING ME?!” …This was literally my reaction when using the Revlon One Step Volumizer PLUS 2.0 for the first time. No joke. I couldn’t believe how amazing my hair looked. I slayed. I was cooking. What are some other sayings of today’s youths? Throw those in there as well. That’s how freaking good my hair looked. How did I not know such a product existed? This thing is magic. By random chance, I stumbled upon this creation, and lo the hair gods did smile upon me. Here are the deets: I’m 48 years old. My amazing hairdresser shut down during COVID. I went probably 3 years without going to a salon. After some hair loss due to a minor surgery, my new growth was coming in really frizzy. I finally went to a new salon. I told the stylist about the frizz problem. I thought surely she could work her magic and make it look better with the right products and techniques. Nope. I left the salon with a hair cut and supposed blow-out, but every bit as frizzy. My next experience (at a different place) was markedly better, but I still didn’t have that “salon-quality” look. It was just okay.A few weeks later, my round brush broke. I hopped onto Amazon to find a replacement brush and stumbled upon the Revlon One-Step Volumizer. Out of curiosity, I ordered the product. I didn’t really expect to see much of a difference between using my hair dryer and round brush and using this product. Boy was I WRONG. This thing… it’s magic. That’s all I can say. My hair looks full, bouncy, SHINY (no frizz!), and like I just stepped out of a high-end salon. I thought I was destined to live the rest of my life with frizzy hair, but I was wrong! This thing makes my hair look BETTER than when getting a professional style/blowout! I can’t speak highly enough about the results. It was also quick and easy to use; although I will say that that’s partly due to the fact that I have an average amount of hair, and it’s short (bob length). I did try using it on my 8 year old who has TONS of waist-length hair, and it took a pretty long time. So just be aware that how long it’ll take to dry all depends on your hair volume, texture, and length. The only thing I think could improve the product would be to add a “cool shot” button where you could just hold it down temporarily to get the cold air, rather than having to rotate the wheel, which is just a bit awkward while drying/styling. Other than that, the product is amaze-balls. 10 out of 10, do recommend.

Love this!! Just used it for the first time and my hair looks so smooth, shiny, and it feels so soft. There is a bit of frizz on my roots, but for the price it’s great. I’ve always had a hard time styling my hair, but this made it so quick and easy. The barrel is big so it’s great for volume and you can use bigger sections of hair. I will definitely be recommending this to everyone I know.

I recently purchased the Revlon One Step Volumizer PLUS 2.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush, and it has been an absolute game-changer in my hair styling routine. Makes my hair smooth and shiny. Much easier than trying to dry my hair with a hair dryer and a round brush. Just know the high setting is REALLY LOUD and HOT. I can only use it on low. But it still does the job.

I’ve only used the product once so far, but am so excited to continue using it going forward! I let my hair air dry almost completely and used the Round Brush Blower on mildly damp hair. It worked beautifully and dried and straightened my hair within less than ten minutes. (I didn’t time it to precision but I know it was under ten.)I wasn’t going for extreme styling. I just wanted non-frizzy hair with some semblance of neatness. I used to have wavy hair with the occasional banana curl. It was bouncy and full. With hormone issues, it began slightly thinning over the years but still maintained its volume and bounce. Unfortunately, round IV of COVID left me with COVID Hair Loss. My hair thinned noticeably and lost its “life.” While it has begun to come back to life again, it’s still thinner than it used to be and has barely any wave and bounce now. (I still hope that may reverse with more time, but who knows.)I decided to straighten my hair in the healthiest manner possible, just to give it at least a minimal style and nicer look. I was in love with my Maxi Glide flat iron in college and a bit beyond, but the steam function broke years ago. I’m not very coordinated and using a hair dryer with a separate round brush works but is super annoying to use for me.After reading a billion reviews, I settled on the Revlon Salon One Step Dryer and Volumizer (Original Model) and I am glad that I did this far!It was so easy to use and worked like a charm. (Side Bar: I have small hands and was intimidated by the size of the handle when I opened the box. Don’t be! It was really comfortable to hold and manipulate!) With Garnier Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz oil only on my ends, the Brush Blower left my hair soooo smooth and soft, frizz free and styled with a slight flip at the ends. And, again using on only damp hair, it was fast! When I showed my Husband in the other room he loved it and even commented that it was straight but still had body and that the product did not leave my hair too flat. Later that night I received multiple compliments from my family when we stopped by for a get-together, specifically on my hair.As I have said, it has only been one use and so I cannot speak to durability, but I really do love it and am so excited to keep using it. I purchased a case for it separately to protect the bristles from bending and damage. (I have no where to hang it for storage, so it will be shoved in a drawer and I want it to last.)Overall, I am super happy and recommend this product! 😁ADDENDUM: Many people are noting that it gets super hot and is VERY Loud. Yes and Yes, BUT. So, the heat on High is very hot – haven’t tried Low yet). BUT, I shut off the blower and put it down to section out the next piece of hair I wanted to work on each time, and I also only went over each strip twice only , once on top and once on bottom and did not hold still on any spots. So, my hair did not overheat or even smell burnedish, like it used to with my hair blower. This manner of use may not be very good for the motor, with off and on back and forth, and I didn’t think of it at first. So, next time, I think I’ll switch it to cool when I put it down instead. It was so quick to use that I didn’t find the heat a problem at all. In fact, years ago I returned a newer hair blower because it didn’t get nearly as hot as my old one did and wound up sticking with old faithful instead. As to Noise! Yes, it is loud, but no louder than my 1992 hair blower is that I still use. The problem is the PITCH! It has a very high pitch and tinny note to it. My old hair blower is much lower in pitch and therein lies the difference! The Revlon Brush Blower basically sounds like a cheap stick vacuum that I used to have and got rid of specifically because of the noise, as I get migraines. Hubby gave me some of his foam in-the ear plugs to pop in when I am using the Brush Blower and it was fabulous. I would have suffered through because it works so great, but he is right. Over time the pitch of this thing would be no good for hearing health. So, I highly recommend grabbing some earplugs for yourself and to use them while drying and styling, just for hearing’s sake! 😉** NOTE: The attached picture is the next morning, after a night out with family and then sleeping on it. So, some of the volume is gone and the ends have lost their “flip,” but it’s still sleek and soft and frizz-free! YAY!! 🥳

The lady who cuts my hair recommended that I purchase something like this when I complained about all the heat styling I was having to do after I got a new job that required me to “look nice.” (I went from a super casual setting with kids to an office.) She said that this would reduce the amount of heat I was using, since I’d been blow-drying and then curling/straightening my hair. Obviously this thing uses heat, but it’s only one step. After reading a Buzzfeed listicle about cheap Amazon products that are “worth the hype,” I purchased this. That was in fall of 2020. I’m back here in 2023, almost 2024 to order a new one.I used this thing multiple times a week for 3 years straight, and the only reason I’m buying a new one is because the bristles are so bent over from continued use/abuse, which honestly seems pretty reasonable, especially considering I often didn’t really section my hair into small sections and just raked this bad boy through, like, 3 inches of wet hair when I was running late. I also was lazy about cleaning out the accumulated hair in the bristles, which contributed to the flattened bristles. Make sure you clean it out regularly! Not only is this super easy to use, but I’ve used this from when my hair was just below my shoulders to the length it is now, where it reaches the top of high-waisted jeans, and it’s never taken more than 8 minutes to go from towel-dried hair to a beautiful, almost Jennifer Aniston-caliber blowout. The smaller you section your hair while you use it, the more sleek, voluminous, and Jennifer Aniston-y it looks, plus it will most likely make the bristles last longer. Like I said, sometimes when I’m running late, I’ll just use it on thick clumps of hair, which is what I’m sure caused the bristles to eventually get flattened.I just use a scrunchie to section the top of my hair and start from the back, doing one side and then the other, clipping each finished section into one claw clip, and then move up in small sections to the top of my head until it’s done. For reference, my hair is the kind of fuzzy, wavy hair that you see on TikTok videos where they say “Is my hair actually curly?” and then the person does, like, a 17 step curly girl process and then they end up with gorgeous curls or waves. So, I think that I probably have wavy/curly hair, but I would never, ever take the time or energy to do all that. So instead, I just heat-style the crap out of it. Using a regular blow-dryer would give me crazy fly-aways and I would look like I’d rubbed a balloon on the top of my head. With this product, even the tiny hairs where my hair is parted lay down. The BEST part about this product is that it totally refreshes day old (and longer) hair.I actually only wash my hair about every 4-ish days or so, and all you have to do is mist your hair with a tiny bit of water, or, if you’re lazy like me, just run your hand under the faucet, and then rake your wet hand through the section you’re about to dry. You hair will look just as good as it did when it was freshly washed! It somehow eliminates the greasiness – who knows, maybe it’s just evaporating it and destroying my hair, but either way, it is a lifesaver for someone like me who needs to have presentable Office Hair but hates washing their hair every day.I’m actually really sad I have to order a new one, because the motor is just fine and it feels wasteful to discard it. But 3 years is more than good enough considering its cheap price and how much I love it.Anyway, you should definitely get this. I seriously spend all day just touching my hair all day, feeling like Rachel Green. I flip it over my shoulder all day long like Marcia Brady in The Brady Bunch Movie.

I bought this after my last dryer of this type bit the dust after a little more than a year. This one cost a bit more and was definitely worth the extra money. It’s nice that there’s no exposed metal around the brush that might burn your fingers or scalp. It’s got plenty of power and dries even my super thick curly hair.It would be nice to have an easy way to bundle the cord, as some model dryers do. I added a velcro strip, so that works.

I’ve had this one when it first came out and then switched to the newer one that has a medium setting and detachable piece. The original one with no detached piece is much better IMO. The detachable part on the newer one broke after a year and one drop-yes I’m aware that dropping it broke it but for the price at ulta, I would hoped it would survive a small drop🥲. It gradually broke more over time with me still trying to use it. The quality of the original is better for me because I’d like it to survive a small drop before breaking lol. Only con is there’s no medium setting.

It’s very easy to use when used in the right way. I suggest watching a few YouTube tutorials just to get the idea of how to properly use this product. The only down side I would say that if you have really thick hair it takes a few times to get the desired dryness and settling of the hair so the heat ruins the bristles overtime. I had this for almost 2 year and love using it, even though it’s missing some bristles it still does the job properly.

While this is a staple product in my hair routine, it can get a little heavy and overly hot. Thankfully it only takes about 10 minutes to dry my hair and leaves it soft. No matter what products I use – for shine, frizz, heat protector – it has still fried my ends. I only use the low heat, but even that setting gets too hot. I use it once or twice a week. I use prestige brand heat protectors / shampoo / conditioner / leave in treatments (and I’ve also tried drug store brands). Nothing has stopped the split ends. My hair looks fabulous right after it’s done, although it’s not super shiny, it’s frizz free and soft. But by the next morning, it’s frizzy and definitely not as soft. It looks as though I just let my hair air dry. This may be better suited for thicker and more texted hair. I have medium / long, fairly fine, naturally wavy and color treated hair. I’ve had it for about 2 years, and it still looks and works like new. Just may not be the best option for my hair type – or maybe I just haven’t found the right product to protect my ends.

I fell in love with this product because I actually did a commercial shoot with Revlon hair tools and after hours of using this tool (along with different facial expressions, hand movements, and makeup team interventions for my shiny forehead), I absolutely fell in love with this product I needed one for myself ASAP. I noticed in the back of the studio there was an entire table full of brand new Revlon One-Step stools. But no, that luxury was not afforded to me. Since I am an honorable respectable citizen and did not stoop to the level of stealing one, although I did consider it, I had to buy the stool on Amazon like a common peasant. But that’s OK I don’t mind at all! in fact, during a manic, self-sabotaging sort of impulse purchase, I got the Dyson Air Wrap last year. However, in comparison to my Revlon One Step, but Ison just wasn’t worth the money and I did a side-by-side comparison of my hair with both tools and let’s just say I was disappointed in the Dyson. I no longer have the Dyson. I mean, I would definitely want one but the Revlon is more affordable. Also if you use Velcro rollers in your hair after if you blow dry it with the stool, you will have volume for days and as they call in the south, “Hair to Jesus”.

I have been using this hairdryer for months now and I can’t believe it works so well. The years of blow drying with a brush and blow dryer are OVER! This works in half the time. I have curly hair past my shoulders and this works amazing. All I do is put in a bit of argon oil and blow dry in sections and it’s done. I can add in slight curls to the ends if I want too! Awesome purchase. Have recommended many times.

I’ve had my hair long for as long as I can remember, and it’s super thick. Many a hair dryers have died at my hand, but this one has been a massive blessing. Instead of trying to juggle a brush and my hair dryer, I have one thing that’s much more efficient. I’m sure I’m missing out on a lot of different uses for it, but I’m perfectly content with the basic function.
