I know you’re like wow like 300.00 bucks for a tester …trust me this is a game-changer no more toting around a battery our worst removing it to bench to test it or have to take it to your local parts store for tesing with this you can find that short circuit or that burn up blower motor, light bubs and so much more this is my second one my first one last 10 years use every day a professional diesel mechanic trailer mechanic and car builder I loved it so much I bought my dad one money maker time-save win win thanks guys

s to work on my cars, It is working really well, As good as I expected it to be figuring out powers and grounds with sound and lights and activating circuits real easy.The frequency mode is just fantastic it saves me time not to have to take out my scope, On PWM circuits this unit will show frequency and +PW and – PW so u can have really good idea what the Pcm is doing and can work out DC% very quickly, This feature by it self is enough to make u acquire this one over the PP iii.If u r in the diag game get this on and u won’t regret it.

I did I first review and I gava a bad review. The reaason Igave a bad review, was because when I got the tool I did not get the probe and the alligator clip that it was supposed to be in the package. I submitted a return on Nov/7/18 and by Nov/8/18 I had another one everything included. A soon as I got it I used it to diagnose a electrical problem on my car. I had the oportunity to play with the first version of this tool when I was in college. I will say that it made the diagnosing process very easy because I did not have to jump wires to activate components, use circuit tester and use a DVOM which using all this tools are a hassle. The tools screen is very bright. I was working on bright sunlight and I could see the screen clearly. The sound is very loud and I felt that it is good because when I was working with the car on and components on I could hear the power probe clearly. It made very easy to just hear the tool make the sound when I have power or ground. The tool is very ergonomic, I love how it feels on my hand. This is s great too! I would recommend this tool to anyone. Advice to the people that have problems with the tool. Have patience, the service from Power Probe company is very good. The company responded quicker than what I anticipated. Definitely a very good company to work with. Remember that nothing is perfect!! IT IS A GREAT TOOL!!

The one I initially purchased had the screen go white on it after using it about 3 times. I called Power Probe tech support, immediately reached an actual real live person in about 3 seconds. I described the problem to that person, and they decided to send me a replacement unit. I was on the phone for maybe 4 min total. They sent the new one 2 day shipping to me, and I was back in business. I couldn’t be happier with the Power Probe customer service. If I need anything in the future, I will be buying it from Power Probe just because of their superior customer service.The tool is also great. Works awesome, nice and bright screen. It would be nice if they gave you some more leads in the kit for the ground adapter, but I already have some so it wasn’t a big deal.
