I don’t know why I was so scared to try this. I’ve had it for like a week and been afraid to use it. I’m glad I did.It discharges in less than a minute. It seems to have a low capacity, not much inside, but it’s really powerful and does a great job. It has a really pleasant smell. Not necessarily “new car-ish,” but it’s really nice. I think it works great.I accidentally forgot to put the air on recirculate, so only ran it about half the recommended time on that mode but it still smells really good. I definitely would buy this again, good value and I think it’s one of my favorite things I’ve bought for the car in a little while.As cars age, they just accumulate smells that you can’t get rid of by cleaning. This is a really great idea and product. I’m definitely a fan.

This is a little embarrassing to admit, but I was dealing with some mold in my car from leaving the window open and despite cleaning the car extensively and letting it air out for days in the summer heat, it still had that distinct mildew smell, also mixed with the smell of the vinegar used to clean the whole car and carpets. I bought this in hopes that it would freshen up the smell. It was simple to use, except mine did end up stopping midway through and I had to go back into my car to restart it. I got the “new car smell” and even though I wouldn’t describe the scent as what a new car actually smells like, it does smell good. The scent is a little strong still even after a few days have passed since using it. But fortunately, there is no trace of the mold or vinegar smell which I am happy about.

Used on a midsize truck w/ cloth seats. No spills or major dirtiness within the truck, but after about 30k miles, a noticeable smell began to arise with the summer heat.Using Meguiar’s refreshener, I followed the instructions fully, and the car initially had an incredibly strong smell. It isn’t really accurate to “New Car Scent,” but it’s close enough.The scent masked the mildew-y smell that was previously in the truck for about 8 days, then rapidly lost effectiveness.(Side note — I performed a full deep-clean and heat extraction on the cloth and fabric parts of the truck prior to using the Meguiar’s. If your vehicle is presently dirty, eliminate the source of the smell before using something like this!)

It was simple fast and got the job done. Brand new truck had defective back window where it was getting wet for months when it rained. Dealer finally found issue fixed it but did nothing about the mildew wet smell. This stuff got rid of it with no scrubbing or vacumming! Highly recommended

I recently bought a new (to me) car. It had a “cologne” smell which seemed to get stronger the more I drove it. Additionally, the vents emitted a “dead flower” smell when air conditioner or “fresh air” was on. I tried everything I could think of and the smell persisted. Until I ordered this product! I used it yesterday per the instructions and the cologne and dead flower smell is gone! The bad smells were replaced by a very pleasant, not overpowering, clean smell. I went on a road-trip with my kids and 45 minutes into an 11 hour drive my 11 year old son through up in the car. We pulled into a gas station quickly and were able to clean up most of the mess with water and copious amounts of paper towels, but could only do so much. After arriving home we did a thorough job and cleaned it all up. Regardless, the car still had a slight stink to it, which I can only assume was because of driving with that smell recirculating for so long. I bought this product and it completely removed that smell and has a wonderful scent to it that my boys and I absolutely love. It’s been 1.5 weeks since using it and the pleasant smell is still there. Absolutely love this. I have a model Y and in the Florida summer with all the rains, it gets that stinky stock smell when you first turn on the A/C. I’m very interested to see how this does if it keeps that smell away.

I don’t normally write reviews but for this I must.First of all, I never expected this to work as well as it did. I bought a used car that had a smoke smell and something else not great. I used this stuff thinking, well, it can’t be worse than Tobacco smell. At first the smell of this stuff was crazy strong and I was worried. It has since dissipated almost entirely but it took ALL of the other odors with it. I finally feel like the car I bought is my own and I love it so much. Thank you for this!!!!

I tried a refresh car fogger and I followed the same steps exactly as instructed on the bottle. I could still smell the smell when I opened the door and after airing the car out. The next day the car smelled like exactly it did prior to the fogger. I believe my husband spilled milk or something maybe coffee it was a really awful smell. I shampooed all the seats and the carpet and could not get rid of the smell. I came across this product and it worked! The smell is gone and it still smells fresh!!!!

Pros:(1) Extremely easy to use! Simply remove the cap and lock the auto-spray, blast the AC and it really cleans out the vents and odor.Cons:(1) Has a very STRONG chemical odor smell at first, which is to be expected as its trying to clean out the negative smell/odors.Be nice if it has a vanilla or coconut finish.How Did I use this product:I used this product in my Tesla Model 3. I replaced the interior cabin air filters with some nicer higher end ones due to a musty “wet dog” smell. Once I had pulled out the old air filters and before placing them in, I ran my AC on high with the circulation mode on for 15min while this released into my car.It INSTANTLY made a MASSIVE difference and improvement.Great product, great value.

Product worked better than expected. Bought used car and after 3 months had strong vinegar smell like they were trying to clear an odor but what they used to cover the vinegar wore off. I would have gave this 5 stars but I didn’t like the scent. It smells like the inside of a new cowboy boot lol. Like a strong rubber smell. Definitely NOT a new car scent. But over all, it got the smell of mildew out. Real simple to use. Just follow the instructions on the can. Would recommend wiping down all windows and interior after the process is complete. Would probably use this product again if needed. I’m also a previous user of Maguire’s products.

I found these after trying to get ride of a odor in the car from a garbage bag leak in the trunk. I had steamed/scrubbed and was still left with a “hint” of the odor. I took my truck to the dealer and the freakin auto techs smoked in my truck… actually found an ash on my dashboard. Needless to say I was desperate to get the smell out because it was giving me a headache. My truck now has 0 hint of any smoke smell and legit has a new car smell. Very pleased and I will be recommending this to everyone. This would be good to run in your car every so often even if you didn’t smoke. Combine that with replacing your cabin filter immediately after using this odor eliminator and you’ll have your vehicle smelling brand new in 15 minutes.

I drive a pickup truck that’s almost 20 years old. It’s seen some things lol. I gave my truck a good detailing and wanted to knock out any funky smells, saw this inexpensive fogger and figured it couldn’t hurt to try. It worked SO good. Even my dad commented on how nice it smelled inside a week after using it. It’s been 3 weeks and it still smells great in there. I got the “new car smell” one and it has an almond extract type of scent that I really enjoy. It almost makes my truck smell lightly of amaretto which I love. I’ll definitely buy and use this product again!

Like the idea of this. Never used before and was curious how well this would work and since it was a low price I figured why not. Read the directions and park in the shade if possible.Set off the bomb and waited 20 minutes for it to do its thing. Opened up the doors and the scent was strong. Not crazy about the new car scent. If there was another option like vanilla or just a clean scent I would of went with that.It does get rid of bad smells like cigarettes, I smoke in my car and I noticed it’s not as bad.It’s been 4 days since I used this and the new car scent is not as strong but I can still smell it and it’s ok. I would buy this again in a different scent.

love this but to be upfront do not waste your time with running the AC to get it into the system it won’t really have an impact just treat it like a normal bug bomb, set it, close the doors let it finish spraying wait a few minutes then take it out and toss it. It will give you a nice-smelling car for about 10 days or so.
