This is a review for Lqito Multifunctional Car Circuit Tester Component Activation Electrical Tester 6-24V/3.5-36V AC/DC Car Power Tester Digital Display Short Circuit Finder for Continuity Testing.These circuit testers are essential when you are trying to find a bad circuit or wire. Even though, you could get to the same conclusion with a cheap multimeter, this is just nicer to see the voltage and more information. You have a very long lead wire so that is nice but that alone can’t justify the purchase. You can’t even energize a circuit to test it in that manner.It’s not a bad tool to have but I just can’t justify the cost for the limitation and lack of function. Its, to me, just a question of it if you want it or not. Like I said, I can’t, and won’t, say anything negative about it.

The cool tool can check circuits on our car’s electrical system to see if the wiring is good, and if there is voltage on the line. Works on 6v and 12 v, apparently also up to 24 v. It’s nice it works on old 6v cars, as we have some old classic collector vehicles, but we can also use this on our modern daily drivers. Handy addition to the garage.

I did not order this for me. I’m a retired electronics tech and I still have my standard tools for this.This was ordered for a friend that deals with strictly mechanical and vehicle wiring issues. He got back to me today and told me the reasons he considers this a fantastic tool and how he considers it well worth the money. He personally considers it a great tool and well worth the money.

Perfectly acceptable tool if used within it’s limitations. A DVOM won’t supply power to a circuit/component to live test it so this tool does have advantages depending on what you’re using it for.

This kit came in handy right on time for me. I got a call from my mother with some electrical issues with her car. With this kit, I was able to diagnose her car’s issue and get it resolved. One thing I’m not really sure about is if this product is truly necessary. I could’ve gotten the same results with my multimeter. The only thing my multimeter doesn’t have is battery clamps but that’s never been a problem. So, it’s nice to have but not completely necessary. For the money, I think this is an ok value.

I’ve been staring at this tool trying to figure out what I can say about it because I frankly do not know why this tool even exists.Please allow me to explain…Everything this tool does is useful. I mean it… but everything this tool does can be replicated with a multi-meter without the use of a long cable to power it from the car battery, so I’m not sure why anybody with a multi-meter OR a 12v test light can do all of the tests without having to buy this tool… and if you do not have a multi-meter then THAT is the tool you should buy instead of this one, because it would be a better value.I guess I just don’t know why this tool even exists… there are better ways to do these tests without the need for a specialized tool.If I ever find a use-case for this tool where it is easier or better to use this than a multi-meter I will come back and add a star to my rating, but I’ll never go to 5 stars, because not only is this tool completely without merit functionally, as an added bonus it is ALSO very poorly made from low quality materials.

If you’ve never used a circuit tester like this, you may want to watch a couple of YouTube videos – the instructions that came with this are anything but clear.The tool does work, and it’s nice to be able to apply voltage to a bulb, or circuit while you’re troubleshooting it. It’s not brand-name quality, but I don’t think it’s aimed at the professional. At this price-point, it’s worth it, just to have around when you need it.
