I’ve been using the 525 for ten years or so. Seems Logitech, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to do away with the 525. I chose the 510 as a replacement. The 510 isn’t as smooth or as small as the old 525. The 510’s center wheel is rough in comparison to the 525.Overall, though, the 510 works well and even though it’s larger it’s not so large as to be uncomfortable. It tracks well and the side buttons feel crisp as does the left/right front buttons. It aint a 525 but it’ll work.

Bought to replace my 10 year old M510 whose left click would work intermittently. Usually new batteries would correct this, but I guess it finally wore out. This one works/feels/looks the same quality as the old one, I expect to get another 10 years out of it.Easy setup and installation, never had connectivity issues. Very good battery life. Lightweight and ergonomic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simple, no-frills bluetooth mouse.

My last mouse was having problems tracking….replacing batteries, resetting the usb, turning it on and off did not work.I looked online and I know the brand, I’ve had one in the past. So I took a chance and ordered it and got it the next day. it tracks very well. So far, I’ve had no problems with it.My only issue with mice that you buy is that so few have the option for either USB or USB-C. Most either direct connect or USB. So I had to buy an adapter for my USB-C dell computer. It works great with the adapter. I just wish that it came with a USB-C adapter.I will update the review after a period of time to see how long the batteries last but typically mouse batteries last a long time for me. Glad I got this mouse. I definitely needed a new one.

I really like the design of this mouse. There are buttons on the side with easy thumb access for going forward or back to the last page with a quick click. The scrolling wheel has options as well when pushed left or right, and the mouse fits nicely in my hand. It has a rather natural feel where a smaller mouse doesn’t to me. It’s well built so I feel confident using it. I still feel like I’m having to chase the cursor around, so I am trying to find an ideal pad or base that it works best on.

I and several people at my workplace use this mouse, and so far have had no issues. It’s a great value, and performs well on different surfaces. It’s not as nice as some much more expensive models, but for the price I think it’s very hard to beat. I would like a smooth free spinning mouse wheel to get through large spreadsheets faster, but other than that, I don’t notice anything about the mouse daily. And that in my mind is a compliment for something that is used every day. It just works, all day every day. The battery life is insane, but I have the usb sensor plugged in very close to where the mouse sits, so that may one reason why. The bottom of the mouse has nice sized pads, so no issues with them wearing down too quickly and making it not slide. It is not heavy, but not too light either. It feels right in between the heavy and super lightweight mice I have used before. The size is like that too, right in between tiny and large mice. I’m sure the size and weight are designed to accommodate most people, and I would say it does. The forward and back buttons are easy to hit, while not being subject to accidental presses. The accuracy seems just fine for office work, but I have not used this for gaming. I do think it would probably work fine for that as well, as I can notice no lag in general use. I hope this helps

This was a replacement, so it worked as advertised just like the last one. Actually, it was purchased as an additional one for another laptop. Works great.

Did not come with the usb receiver, item not reviewable . Update returned first one and got second one. Does what it’s supposed to do.

I think it’s a great mouse for the price of $20. Upon replacing the battery, it will continue to function for 2 years. There is no problem with the range of the mouse.

This is a great mouse. I’ve been using this model daily for years and I’ve always enjoyed how it feels and how responsive it is. I like the on/off switch and that I can store the USB plug inside the mouse, if I happen to take it on longer trips with me. Excellent choice.

FYI –
This is a great mouse! Wife wants one and while they are rather inexpensive was surprised to see the 34% increase since 11/22 where my invoice shows $19.99 and my screen shows the current price of $26.81. Ten months and up 34%, was expecting 9% to 10% increase. We may have to see if the competition has done the same and if not take one of theirs for a test drive.

Yes, the Logitech M510 has been around for a long time, and there is a reason for it. It’s a good, solid, dependable mouse. I work in IT and I just replaced mine and I had to look it up. The last M510 lasted 6 years before it died. That’s a long time for a heavily used mouse. No complaints.Recommended for larger hands (I have large hands). Can’t speak to small hands, but it’s not that it is huge, it just isn’t small.***** 5 stars for dependability and comfort.

This is my second one of these, the first one lasted around 4-5 years and the left click button finally died, probably clicked it a million+ times, I game a lot so I really got my monies worth out of it …and I liked how it felt in my hand so I purchased another.

Brian Martinez –
I bought an M510 in 2015 for use in my home office. Eight years later, the left mouse button started showing signs of wear. I just replaced it with a new M510. Inexpensive, durable, fits my hand perfectly. Absurdly long battery life; I replaced the batteries in the first mouse for just the second time right before it finally wore out. Don’t fix what ain’t broken!

I used one of these for heavy daily work since 2014. It’s be perfect, but now 9 years later he’s slowing down just a little, so it was time for an update. I tried another logitech mouse (M seven hundred something) but was disappointed because it was bulky and the clicking mechanism was obnoxiously loud. So I went and ordered the same trusted model M510; I couldn’t be happier. Same ergonomic design and still looks great. The clicking mechanism is satisfying without being overbearing. Time will tell, but I clearly have high hopes for this one.

Logitech being true to form. Works very well and not incredibly expensive. I like this mouse particularly for the reason that the middle wheel functions as designed when double-tapped (I use that a lot in my work), rather than always tilting to the side like many other mouse brands/models, which can be extremely frustrating. I now have 3 of these in my home.

I manage IT for our business, and we have this mouse in front of almost every PC. People with large or small hands all like it, and battery life is great. I’ve purchased a couple dozen of these and we’ve never had a problem. The only improvement would be if it was Bluetooth capable. I just hope Logitech doesn’t discontinue them!

I’ve been using M510s for years, just got another to use at work, the one I bought 9 years ago for home is still in great condition and I don’t think i’ve had to replace the batteries more than twice in all that time.

AL70 –
The Unified USB was inside the Back which sort of threw me off, that wasn’t hard HAHAHA! Everything was very simple, just install USB receiver and energize the mouse and took literally les than a second to respond when battery end guard is removed. Mouse movements responsive, smooth, and sure, just download the new drivers and review your settings to finalize. I am savvy tech wise but this was too easy and should be for anyone! I will check back later if I have an issue but I use it on my bed mostly and works perfect as much as I can tell, I love it!

I needed a computer mouse that’s fast, simple, and reliable. This does it. From a reliable brand for an unbeatable price, you get top notch quality. Comes right out of the packaging ready to use. Turns on and registers on computer immediately from the USB, with no setup whatsoever required. The mouse is also extremely responsive and comfortable in the hand. Don’t take your chance on a B-brand product for $7 less. Just get this one, you’ll be happy you did.

Do you have side scroll? If you don’t you have no idea what you’re missing. Overall this is standard wireless mouse, works wellThis difference is side scroll, gone are the days yawing finesse to grab side scroll excel sheet bar, just push/pull scroll roller to side. It’s border line sublime.

This is the 2nd one in the last 8 yrs. They’re very efficient and the batteries last a very long time. I only replaced them about every 3-4 yrs. It fits my hand really well and I particularly like the back button.

..it’s still going strong. I use this in my studio so it’s covered in paint and the interior has stone dust in it. I’ve knocked it off the table maybe 15x. Regarding the features: The scroll wheel is smooth but you can feel (barely) the horizontal ridges (for grip) so if your sensitive to touch then you may not like that part whereas others need a non-slippery wheel. The clicking sounds are barely audible which I love. The side buttons work great and are well placed. Idk.. all I can say is: the poor thing has taken a beating but it’s a workhorse and I recommend it.

ordered two by mistake, paid for two, sent one back waiting on refund, been 10 days, no response from seller at this point, not happen with lack of response, so far pretty expensive mouse since I paid for two and sent one back with no refund!

I tried 3 other mice for my laptop and just did’t like the way the felt in my hand. For my desktop I use a Logitech wave keyboard and this identical mouse. The other mice I tried with the laptop were the usual “laptop” size but 2 lacked the side buttons which I use for CTRL+ and Shift+. I tried a WisFox wireless mouse with side buttons but they seemed too inconvenient to reach. All in all, the Logitech M510 is the right mouse for me & my slightly large size hands. Some of the other mice were bluetooth and I noticed sometimes there must have been some signal interference and the responsiveness changed. The USB Unifying Receiver method for this Logitech seems to be reliable. My Alienware laptop only had 2 full sized USB ports and that I why I wanted a Blu-tooth mouse but I just decided to get a USB hub and plug this Logitech M510 into one of the ports. I’m satisfied and recommend this mouse.

Bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it for her work. The ability to scroll left and right with the scroll wheel is a game changer for her.

These Logitech mice can be a little more expensive up front, but the are ergonomic, responsive, and have long battery life. I have used this wireless mouse for gaming, professional work, and everyday tasks for the past year and a half, and it has worked great. Just a fair warning, after maybe 2-3 years of extensive use these Logitech mice tend to wear out, especially the clicking mechanism.

WhyTigr LovesYa –
This mouse is the best version of the 2.4ghz wireless type, *if* you can get it for 20$ or less. They come with duracell batteries and a wireless dongle which it is already paired to, and can support up to 6 devices. It also has 7 customizable button positions and a mouse wheel. It is the epitome of a wireless mouse and I highly recommend this product.

Needed to replace a failing mouse in a mouse/keyboard combo. Everything connected easily to the Unifying Receiver using the Logitech Unifying Software. Took less than 10 minutes including time for Windows 10 to update the old (very) unifying software.

This mouse fits my hand perfectly and the buttons perform as stated. It’s on the large size which is good for me. It reacts quickly and is easy to use. I really like this one and I have had many.

I decided to get a larger mouse for my laptop and I definitely made the right decision. It fits great in my hand, I can use it at my home desk as well as sitting on the couch with my laptop. It moves smoothly on the armrest of my couch. I will probably be buying another one for my personal laptop.

Works well, good value for the price. It’s too small for my hand, but I have large hands. So far I haven’t been able to find a good fit.
