Lots of pockets and places to put everything. Rolls nice and quiet, pretty light for its size

It’s not often there is “something new under the sun….”, especially for luggage! Haha! But this suitcase is just that. It is a very cool bag with better, more innovative features than I could have imagined! My son and I will loop back and offer more thoughts as needed after a few trips, but for now, we are both impressed! The large exterior compartment for laptops and other tech that may be needed during travel is very well considered and constructed. The metal corner reinforcements are appreciated for added protection of the bag’s contents. There are ample interior pockets and pouches, but not so many that the necessary bits and bobs we travel with will get misplaced. So far, so good!

I bought this because I liked the separate compartment for my laptop. It came very well packed and the blue color is amazing. Love the 360 wheels and of course the laptop compartment. It will be nice not having to lug my laptop on my shoulder

This bag is the maximum size for a carry on without undoing the zipper that allows it to grow wider. It’s big enough for 5 days of clothing if you pack smartly. I like the side panel because I can toss everything you would normally have to put on a tray when going through TSA in there and collect them once through security. Makes getting through airports a breeze. Great for carring a Laptop too.

My wife and I were preparing for an overseas trip, not wanting to deal with checked luggage on an international flight, I saw a similar suitcase for several hundred dollars and tried to talk her into it. Instead, she found a pair of these on here on Amazon. Over the last year I have used this at least once a month, in my car, or flying. It holds more than you think. It has take a lot of abuse and still looks great. Will fit in the tiniest of overhead compartments as well as the itty bitty trunk of my Miata easily. It holds a week’s worth of travel items, inner compartments keep things secure, so I almost always just end up living out of it. Lightweight, rolls great and even at 200lbs, I have used it for a seat and not broken anything. The best travel suitcase I have ever owned, bar none.

After extensive research on international carry-on luggage, I finally found the perfect one. It features a stylish and functional design, and it’s expandable. I purchased a blue one for myself and a gray one for my husband. The best part is the convenient laptop pocket in the front. Additionally, unlike many others, the hard case is well-made and sturdy. Look no further. This carryon is IT and such a great value for the price.

This suitcase is very well made! I had been doing a lot of research on the best bag to take on a European trip. Level 8 ticked all my boxes.1. Price point was spot on.2. Dimensions included wheels and handles( beware some don’t) and it fit well within the requirements.3. Stylish color and look. 4 Attention to detail on inside construction5. Most importantly the wheels were said to roll well on cobblestone. ( And they certainly did)I just returned from a trip and cruise to Italy and Greece. Packed enough clothes and toiletries for 2 weeks ( not an easy task but with lots of planning it can be done) wore everything I packed most things twice and did 0 laundry. Nothing got dirty or stinky but glad we didn’t stay another week! lolThe zippers on the bag are smooth zipping and lock securely into to top lock.Fully packed my bag weighed just a tad over 23#’s.I did pack one change of clothes and a pj in my personals bag, but the suitcase was my main storage. The wheels were a dream on rough cobblestone streets. The handle felt nice and sturdy. The front flap storage pocket might be great for those traveling with a laptop but I did not use is except for paperwork as loading it with things does limit the amount of interior packing space. My only issue( no fault of the bag itself) was the last day of the trip I loaded my suitcase with my personal bag attached to the trolley handle , onto a bus… the ride was chaotic and the bags tipped over. Someone tried to lift both bags by grabbing the personal bag and slightly bent the suitcase handle. No significant visible damage but I was then unable to lower the handle back into the suitcase. After working on the internal mechanism (inside the zipper area in the bottom of the suitcase) I have been able to lower it back down except for the last inch and a half.I am currently contacting Level 8 to see what can be done. This is a great bag and I love it ! Would definitely buy another Level 8! Wish they made them lighter. Most bags empty run in the 610 pound range. This one comes in at about 6.9-7.9. Not horrible but every little bit helps when going thru security.

This is a great carry on for the price. It has TSA lock, is extendable and the quality is good. It also has double wheels which is a MUST for all luggage. Single wheels get destroyed too easily. The only thing that concerns me would be the customer service, but I will update this review if I have to contact them.So far so good! 5/5

I decided to try this bag after seeing a youtuber using it. This bag is fantastic—it’s lightweight, easy to manage, and the front pocket is perfect for a laptop. Plus, it’s expandable, offering extra room when needed. There are plenty of small compartments for organizing various items. It fits neatly into overhead bins, though it may pose a challenge in the overhead bins of CRJ900 jets.

Very well designed! 2 day Business Trip -Room for work clothing, boots, shoes, dinner dress, cosmetics everything had a place… secured with straps. Smallness in zipped pockets. Even expands if necessary. Outside compartment held laptop & work materials…. no need for brief case. Easy to access while waiting in airport. Sturdy outside & Super Pretty. Easy to roll even on uneven terrain, moving sidewalks & escalators. Fits perfectly in overhead bin. Best suitcase I’ve ever had for the price. And, I travel alot. Love it

I liked the design and the storage for your laptop. That being said, the laptop area took up some of the space for other items but there was enough space for clothes, etc. great colors and construction. Recommend if you need a carryon that has a laptop space.

Had to buy a large suitcase in a hurry because the wheel ripped off of my suitcase on my last trip. Level 8 is recommended by many travelers so I gave it a try. It’s very sturdy and held up well. I was pleasantly surprised by the maneuverability of the wheels. I didn’t think there was much of a difference in luggage wheels but there is! These are high quality and move with ease. I did not have to struggle with this suitcase and it’s the large 28” which I pack a lot of heavy stuff in. My only complaint is that it is not expandable. I would like to eventually get the matching 20” and 24” but the 24” does not have an expandable version which is a deal breaker for me. Hope they make an expandable 24”. Would love to get a complete set!

It was great on a trip to Europe. So easy to roll all over & thru airports. However, I thought the full opening side would be an advantage but found that not true as you had to Open it completely in order to get anything out. I did love the hard sides & am still happy with this case.

This luggage gives me everything I need to travel for weeks with only my carryon suitcase. I especially like being able to keep my laptop and travel documents readily available in the front drop down compartment. And it practically floats across the floor with its super, well-constructed wheels.

Glides smoothly, better than any carry on that I have had in the past. Love the front where I can safely store my ipad and an extra pair of shoes and a spare outfit. Inside more space than I have ever had in any other carry on. Great quality and I felt the price as right.

I was looking to replace my old carry on with a hardshell one that had front space for laptop. I chose this one after long searching and boy did I make the right choice. This is absolutely prefect for what I was looking for. The hardshell is very sturdy and has reinforced corners, which is great. The leptop space can open partially or fully, based on the velcro sides. Also had pockets in there for mouse or power cords and connections. Each side of the interior is very spacious for a carry on and both sides have zip up coverings so your cloths or items don’t go all over the place. Also can expand for extra space if needed (which I always do). Also has 360 spinner wheels which are very smooth. Couple of bonus features that I wasn’t expecting is that it comes with a extra separate combination lock for manual locking if you want. And it comes with a cloth dust cover for storage. No more wrapping up my luggage in trash bags. I love that. Overall this is a fantastic carry on bag and I couldn’t have asked for more.

UPDATE: I have now used this suitcase on multiple trips – even overseas. I holds up well. Absolutely no problems with it at all.Overall, I think this is a great product. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a identification holder, a drink holder, a charging port, and a little sturdier telescoping handle. You can fit more into this bag if you use compression cubes.Detailed review:I researched many carry-on suitcases before deciding on this one. I have used it for one round trip so far and found I got exactly what I thought I was getting when I purchased this product:Pros:- Main compartment has stretch straps to hold items in place.- Main compartment has an adjustable compression panel with a zippered pocket. The compression panel is made of material and it snaps down with adjustable straps.- Main compartment has a combination TSA combination lock.- Main compartment has a zipper that allows the suitcase to expand to extract packing space.- Lap top compartment has two layers of padding to protect a lap top and a tablet, with a velcro strap to hold them in place.- Lap top compartment has many different velcro and zippered compartments to put just about anything you would need in it. I fit my lap top, tablet, charger, full sized mouse, package of tissues, luggage scale (in a box), canvas tote bag, and magazine in it pretty easily.- Lap top compartment zips open, and you can tilt it out to pull out anything you need quickly without having to unzip the main suitcase compartment. It has velcro wings that keep it open at an angle, however if you want to open it full out and lay the top completely open, you just undo the velocro and it opens all the way.- A separate TSA combination lock is included that can be used to lock the lap top compartment.- The spinner wheels roll well 360 degrees, and are quiet.- The zippers are well constructed and zip easily.- Telescoping handle works well and can be set at two heights. My cabin bag fit easily over the handle.CONS:- There is no built in identification holder – so you have add your own identification luggage tag.- The telescoping handle seems a little rickety. My older Samsonite and Delsey bags had sturdier telescoping handles. I don’t know if most manufactures these days are making less sturdy telescoping handles.- It would be great if the outside shell had a drink holder that flips out on the outside, like I have seen in a few other carry on bags.- There is no charging port. Some other carry on bags I have seen have outside access charging ports you can use to charge your lap top.UPDATE: After using this carry on suitcase a few times, I purchased a second one in the burgundy color. The burgundy colored suitcase arrived in a damaged box that had been re-taped, with a dent in the suitcase. Fortunately it was very easy to return it and replace it. The replacement burgundy bag arrived in good condition, so now I am good to go!

Update:I’m about halfway through my trip and already this luggage has sustained significant damage. The corner guards are bent and beat up, the lock is broken on one piece and considerable scuffs and scratches have been made. It is light weight and pretty easy to handle but thus far hasn’t held up to the abuse from baggage handlers. Pics to follow on my return. My first impression was that this 3 pc set of Level 8 Luggage was packed extremely well! Each piece has its own dust cover bag for storage and were packed one inside the other surrounded by foam wrap. Upon inspection all zippers and locks work and there is no damage to any of the pieces. All wheels are functioning and corner guards are attached well. I’m not familiar with hard sided luggage so I can’t attest to what is considered durable at this point. The carryon has an expandable compartment adding about 1.5 inches to the depth of one side. It also has a separate compartment for a laptop or tablet, chargers etc. seems well thought out. A nice size for one person on a 2-4 day trip. The medium size should hold enough for a 5-10 day trip, the large is for the long haul! I purchased these to replace older soft side luggage and for a 24 day Alaskan trip. I expect to take heavier clothes and multiple layering items. The large size might be too much to handle will consider 2 medium size bags and the carryon. Update to follow post trip.

We bought 5 of these on Prime Day for our trip to Disney Paris and London with our 3 children this month. We went on 6 flights, took the EuroStar and used the London Tube and France rail lines with these 20inch extendables and I was able to pack each with enough clothing for 14 days for each child. They are so smooth and easy to maneuver that even my 8 yr old was able to roll his own luggage and my 11 yr old controlled 2 pieces as I tended to our toddler. They held up well even when checked and were perfect as carryons for flights that we decided not to check them. We bought the burgundy so they stood out and still looked good after traveling across seas from NY to Europe. I spent hours doing research and I’m so glad we went with Level 8’s! I’ll be buying the 28inch as well, Bc I def require more luggage for longer trips (Mama likes her shoes Lolol). Even without prime day discounts, this is an economical, sleek, functional, easy to roll, and durable piece of luggage! Thank you for making our travel pleasurable!

So many great features, plus added items I didn’t expect.First- the quality is exceptional for the price. The handle is nice and firm with 3 click lock lengths that are easy to use. The wheels even roll on carpet with ease.Second- the outer laptop pocket is perfect! It even has a padded slot for an iPad. Since I have both, I’m really excited to have easy access that will make taking them out for TSA security lines a breeze.Third – the size is perfect! Very roomy for a carryon, especially with the extension. I believe I will be able to fit a week’s worth of clothing and toiletries if I’m conservative with what I pack.Bonus Items – it came with sticker letters that are perfectly sized to fit on the handle so I can easily identify my bag. It also had an extra lock inside the bag for the laptop compartment so the entire suitcase can be locked for added protection.Highly recommend this bag!

I have lived out of this suitcase everyday for the last 15 months and it has held up SO WELL!!! And still going strong! After 15 months of living out of it, it’s only gotten a few scuffs and scratches on the metal corners which seem to be the purpose behind having them, just amazing to me.The zippers have held up very well and have had no problems with them other than in that front pocket, because I stuff the suitcase so full, going around the corners then zipper will sometimes skip over, but I’ve just learned to hold it tight at the top and it zips smoothly. The handles on the outside have held up really well too, although I wonder if I’m going to break them one day because of how I take it in and out of the car all the time by them, but they too are going strong and are comfortable and in the right places. The wheels are very smooth and convenient too! When I first got it, I had set it down on the front porch (that didn’t have a railing at the time) and they rolled so smooth it rolled right off the porch from the little tilt it had! It still rolls just as smoothly and have no problems with the wheels turning or anything. The extendable handle is great too, and can stop at different heights and have had no problems with it at all.The lock on the side of it works great too, very easy to work. The suitcase also comes with an extra lock for the front zipper pouch since those zippers don’t have a built in lock.I keep a lot of letter making stuff, my phone charger and a couple books on that front pocket, but unfortunately, that’s about all it can take because it shares the same space as the inside of the suitcase.I keep my suitcase extended all the time and has been super flexible with it so it will still close when I don’t have my clothes folded nicely in my packing cubes and in my laundry bag instead. I’ve learned how to maximize the space too with putting my pj’s and some workout stuff in the spaces the handle makes, so this suitcase can actually hold a lot!The mesh inside zipper pocket is great, I wish there was another pocket in it though, so I safety-pinned a pouch to the other side which works great and doesn’t encroach on the space I need for other things! The side that the extention is on can hold a lot even if it wasn’t extended, but I prefer to keep it extended, it just flexes easier and more comfortablely. It’s a lot deeper than it seems at first which I love and am glad for.
