Nicely constructed boot !I don’t think you will find anything betterVery inexpensive.Don’t expect it to be a$300 pair of boots. But hands down they are worth more than they charge.

For how cheap they are, they’re really good! I could not be more happy with my purchase. The leather hasn’t creased yet and they’re really sturdy.

Quoting the Description: “Jacata comes from the world-renowned shoe-making country Italy”(edit: 4/8/2023 – this quote has now been removed from the description of the product. Good for you, jacata).Nope. The tongue tag discloses the truth: “Made in China”I’m revising my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars because of the apparently-intentional effort to obscure the Made In China reality. There are many fine products from China, so there’s no reason to include the misleading phrasing mentioned above. This shoe’s upper is a beautiful, soft split cowhide suede with a nap. That means that you’ll need a suede brush and cleaner to keep it nice. And it goes without saying that untreated suede is not waterproof OR water-resistant (whatever that means to this manufacturer, since the definition is a moving target).Additionally, the claim that the shoe has a “removable” sole liner is *partially* true. The liner is tacked down with glue at the heel and can be coerced free with a tug. But, once you remove the liner you’ll be dismayed (as I was) to learn that the liner is a mere 2-3 mm (about 1/8″) thick and made from material that certainly won’t last long due to its lack of heft and its essential design. The liner sits atop the inner sole which is fastened to the sole with metal grommets that will — no doubt — eventually wear through the liner with the pressure of the foot. So, this is a design flaw in my opinion that needs to be addressed either with a thicker liner or an additional layer of sealant above the heads of the metal grommets to protect the liner from wear, or with both.I’ve returned the boots untried and unworn after this examination.

They are nice boots, attempting to replicate Timberland boots but at half the price. The stitching is decent. The outer stitching and leather work is good, but the internal stitching has a few flaws and ravels. The insert foot liner is thin, has NO cushion and is NOT removable. Both of mine were glued in tight. The product is advertised as being WATERPROOF. That is a lie. On the side of the boot it is clearly embossed “Water Resistant” which is little more honest. Despite the fact that YES, these are very stylish and often worn as construction boots. They are more of a fashion work boot, for managers and paper pushers. Not those who really get their hands, or in this case their feet, dirty. The reason I say this is because Leather in either Suede or Nubuck (which these are) are NOT and I repeat NOT an industrial, durable, work boot. Yes, they looks tough, have great thick rubber soles, tight seams and rugged boot laces. But they are not a hard leather that dirt and water runs off of. They have a very delicate surface, like fine down. Water will stain them, dirt and such get stuck in the fine leather REALLY EASY and the more you neglect and abuse them, the more water they will absorb until they are junk. So unless you want your boots to look like you bought them from some hillbilly back woods flea market junk store or found them in a drainage ditch somewhere, I suggest you buy a nice nubuck or sued protectant product. Apply it liberally, clean the shoes if they get muddy, dry them right away if they get really wet, brush them and let them air dry at the end of the day. The bottoms are good, they are oil resistant and have great grip on wet floors. The boot laces are good quality and overall, the shoe is comfortable and for the price, is an excellent deal.
