I’m really impressed with this INSIGNIA 50-inch TV! The picture quality is excellent, with clear resolution, making movies and shows look amazing. Setup was easy, and the built-in smart features work flawlessly for streaming. Overall, it’s a fantastic deal for a TV of this size and quality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great value!

Am loving the TV it took 2 days to arrive and the quality is breathtaking and load times are phenomenal its like no TV I’ve had yet and am LOVING the Alexa feature, makes games on my PS5 look sooooooo GOOD, the sound quality of the TV speakers sounds like a expensive stereo set, super easy to set up, entire box and TV are extremely light.

Just gotten my 43″ for one day now and I’m impressed. First of all the package came without a scratch on it ( uncertain of who expedited it here but UPS is terrible for package damage ) . The set-up is easy and basic , taking it out of the box I noticed it was very well packed inside opposed to others I’ve had before. Nice picture for a 60hz refresh rate . PROS: Nice picture for a 60 hz refresh rate / pic in pic / user friendly remote that doesn’t take long to get use to / I also watch broadcast TV and this TV unlike some I’ve had has the channel guide in two forums , along with a feature that’s new to me is that it freezes live broadcast TV / Smart TV of course along with Alexa , which I’ve had with my firestick but now just one remote instead of two / fairly light and not much heavier than a 32″ TV ( My floor is solid thus the light TV doesn’t wobble walking past it but if your floor moves or if the TV may be prone to be lightly bumped I would recommended you have a TV tether to prevent it from tipping over / like all TV’s it has full picture adjustment or automatic . CONS : NO RCA outputs for audio or video , instead you need a sound jack that converts to RCA’s for your older school sound systems. but It is up to date with fiber optic , HDMI , and sound bar using the audio jack and or HDMI / the worst thing for me is it has NO AUDIO ADJUSTMENTS at all except for the CC option possibly because this TV just has your basic sound , nothing special but okay. All and all it’s really is nice and priced cheaper than most 32″TV ‘s , the only thing I would change is adding RCA’s for multiple older school components that some people still choose to use rather than throwing a perfectly good device away . I’m very happy with my purchase and if you get one and enjoy watching movies or suffer from poor hearing I would definitely recommend a sound bar or sound system . I had my Sony Bravia for 16 years and it had just a few grays lines thus my new purchase . This new TV has high reviews everywhere and I’m hoping the cheap price doesn’t afflict the longevity of it performing properly. I would have gave it a five star if it had more RCA and audio features . Satisfied with my purchase 😁

The smart TV didn’t work. I added a fire stick and it works. Good price for the TV size.

I recently bought an INSIGNIA 50-inch Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV, and it has been great in my living room. The picture quality with a resolution of 4K UHD is great, rich in color detail. It has improved movies and TV shows due to the great visual effect. The size of 50 inches is ideal for a medium-sized room.Setup was super easy, and with the built-in Fire TV platform, all my favorite streaming services, like Netflix and Prime Video, were easily accessible. Performance and reliability are still great after several months.

I LOVE my new TV! I had a 32” that was due for an upgrade and I saw this TV for less than $160. I unboxed it by myself, it was easy to set up after the legs were screwed on—just plugged it in and followed the onscreen instructions. You have to sign into your wifi and a couple more apps to get started. The Alexa in the remote is awesome!! Just ask her to show a certain movie, TV show or go to an app. It’s very fast response to any buttons. Picture quality is beautiful, so crisp and clear—colors are vibrant. The sound from the 2 speakers is wonderful, like you’re there—such a huge change from my last TV. I’m very, very happy with this purchase!!

Purchased during Prime day sales, and couldn’t be happier! Clear, vibrant picture, excellent sound, very easy set up and easy to navigate. Love the voice remote! One caution is to.make sure you measure the leg width on this set, to assure it will fit your table! That was one thing I didn’t consider, and the 50″ didn’t fit my current tv stand. I purchased a new fairly inexpensive one on Amazon, that worked out beautifully : * AVF Transitional Steel and Glass TV Stand for up to 60″ TVs in Black/Chrome *Simple, well.made, easy peasy to assemble and was delivered in one day.Over all, a great purchase, and highly recommend both the tv and the beautifulnew tv table.

Purchased this 65″ TV on Amazon for 299.00 and picked it up at my local Best Buy. Audio is great and bright lit content is displayed very well. Have watched Reds baseball, motocross, and NHRA racing – all have looked great. HD content displays very well. SD content can be grainy. I am using a roku stick due to using the Spectrum app and have experienced no problems having the roku stick connected directly into the hdmi 1 port. As an expert review of this tv has indicated, this tv does a horrible job of processing blacks/browns in low light or dark scenes, especially SD content. The lack of processing is so bad that some scenes are almost impossible to view due to pixelation/distortion. With the exception of the black processing problem, I am not sure why some expert reviewers trash this tv. At the 299.00 price point, its a very nice tv and they are practically giving it away! I own three other Insignia tvs with my 2014 50 inch plasma still producing a brilliant picture and working great. My 2018 24″ and 2019 55″ still work properly as well. Would buy this tv again. Would recommend, albeit with the black processing caveat.

I am blown away by the quality of not only the sound but the picture in this TV. It takes you a little bit to adjust to it because it’s almost like everything is 3-D when the waves in the ocean are moving my God you feel like you’re moving with it. It is unreal. I cannot believe the price that is on this TV either. I put this on my Affirm account where you can pay it off in six months to a year which makes it super super affordable. I will purchase one of these for each one of my bedrooms now this thing is amazing. I will say this thing I didn’t care about it takes a little bit of time to set it up , we are Americans like quick fixes this thing to quite a bit of time to get everything updated and everything installed, but I will tell you have patience. It is so worth the wait. .

You cannot go wrong with this TV. Excellent picture. This TV replaced a SONY that cost over 10 times as much and I like this one Better. I wish they carried the 65″ model on Amazon. I would buy a 65″ in addition to this 50″ model but I would have to drive 4 hours round trip to pick it up at Best Buy.Note: this is Best Buy’s own brand and they did good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!!

My favorite features is being able to boost the voice volume. I don’t watch much TV but I this is a good size for anything. I end up putting it on a stand that wheels so I can move it around to different rooms. I think I paid less than $200 for this and think it was a great value. I’m far from an expert but think the picture is great and the fireTV is easy to use for streaming, etc.

As an avid consumer of entertainment, I recently invested in the Insignia 50-inch Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV, eager to enhance my viewing experience. From the outset, the TV impressed with its vibrant picture quality, delivering crisp images that truly bring content to life. Whether I was binge-watching my favorite shows or immersing myself in the latest blockbuster, the clarity and detail offered by the 4K UHD resolution were nothing short of breathtaking. The integration of Fire TV functionality seamlessly transformed the television into a hub of entertainment, granting me access to a plethora of streaming services and apps with just a few clicks. Navigating through menus and switching between applications felt smooth and intuitive, making for an enjoyable user experience. However, as I delved deeper into the TV’s capabilities, I encountered a notable drawback – the limited storage capacity. Despite its impressive performance in streaming content, prolonged use revealed a tendency for the TV to slow down, likely due to its constrained storage space. This occasional sluggishness detracted from an otherwise seamless experience, serving as a reminder of the importance of ample storage in today’s multimedia landscape.Despite this hiccup, the Insignia 50-inch Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV remains a solid choice for those seeking a blend of picture-perfect visuals and convenient streaming capabilities. Its stunning picture quality and smooth streaming performance make it a worthy addition to any entertainment setup, albeit with the caveat of occasional slowdowns due to limited storage. If you’re willing to overlook this minor flaw, you’ll find yourself thoroughly enjoying the immersive viewing experience offered by this impressive television.

Our ten year old TV bit the dust for some reason. Found this smart TV and excited to not need a fire stick or Roku and have everything just on the television. Easy set up. Beautiful television. Clear picture and price can not be beat. Also this television is super lightweight

I like this 43″ tv a lot. Color and everything about it is great. This is my 2nd one. I bought the insurance from Asurion and glad I did…the first tv went black a fewmonths before insurance expired…so I would recommend getting insurance. This tv works well hanging from a wall tv holder.

The INSIGNIA 43-inch Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV has significantly elevated my home entertainment experience. Here’s why I highly recommend this TV:First and foremost, the 4K UHD resolution is stunning. The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, with excellent clarity and color accuracy. Watching movies, TV shows, and playing video games on this TV is a visual treat, bringing out the finest details and enhancing the overall viewing experience. The integration with Fire TV is seamless and incredibly convenient. Having access to a wide range of streaming services, apps, and channels directly from the TV interface makes it easy to find and enjoy my favorite content. The interface is user-friendly and responsive, allowing for smooth navigation and quick access to apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and more.

I bought two of these last year, a 50” model for the living room and a 43” model for the bedroom. The picture is sharp and the colors run deep. This TV has just about every input and output and connects to the Internet extremely well. I prefer more of a surround sound experience than TV sets offer, but the built-in speakers in the Insignia TVs are adequate for most consumers. The HDMI ARC input-output enslaves these TVs to my surround sound systems, so setup was a breeze. Before buying on Amazon, I always read the bad reviews first to learn what could go haywire. For a minimum of hassle, I then buy products like the Insignia TVs from Amazon with the extended warranty with full confidence that I can get repairs or replacements with the greatest of ease. Yes, even if I get lemon for whatever the reason. So far, I have gotten 18 months of viewing bliss with the pair. And should the worst-case scenario happen to me, I am already embarrassed by the low price that I paid in the first place. If I spend around $200-$300 for a consumer electronics product that lasts two years or more, I’m a happy camper – I think I’ve gotten my money’s worth and am willing to send it to recycling heaven and then buy something new. If you are expecting $3,000 quality and performance for $300, then I’m sorry, but you may need to go back to school.

Being broke means you can’t have all the greatest things in life, but that doesn’t apply to everything. I’ve had the pleasure of owning a good 4K tv before, and I’ve experienced nice big plasma TVs. But for the most part, I’ve been using small, 720p and 1080p TVs. This TV is an awesome upgrade even if it’s not the greatest thing on the planet. I’ve seen complaints about poor performance in low light, or some other small gripes. But I bought the 50 inch model, and my roommate bought the 43 inch model, and we’re both awestruck. The picture quality is fantastic, the audio quality is awesome, and it’s not too heavy. Sure the materials aren’t top class, but the cost savings have to come from somewhere. I’ve definitely seen much worse low light performance, and I don’t think I’ve seen a TV get as bright as this one. The refresh rate and latency is definitely good enough for competitive gaming, and once you get the settings figured out, so is the picture quality. I’ve connected the TV to my Xbox Series S, and set the TV up to run low latency mode and 4K (even though the Series S only supports 1440p). And since I have a 50 inch model, I can comfortably sit back in a recliner while I game and still see everything in the game as if I was face to face with a monitor. Wheather you’re watching or playing something, casually or competitively this TV is an absolute steal for the price.

This replaced a non-smart TV and I just love it. It didn’t take but a few minutes to attach all the needed cables. I’m amazed at the access to various apps and being able to go out to the internet (and shopping on Amazon). The price was excellent. I’m not big on using Alexa, but the few times I tried it, it worked fine. I would buy another.

Decent for the price. Color is not as well balanced as my old non-led 42in LG fhd. Very difficult to adjust for natural color balance, saturation (in particular) and black levels. Very garish color with drastically over-saturated colors as delivered. Also, the fire tv function is slower and glitchier than my 4k roku stick – the external hdmi-connected 4k roku never needs to drop resolution or pause for buffering while the built-in fireTV function needs to do both often enough to be annoying. For the price, it’s not exactly bad but it definitely isn’t great.

The picture quality is excellent with little screen reflection (our previous TV screen showed reflections of many items in the room, especially lamps and windows). With one exception, it was very easy to setup. The exception was our need to play the sound through the TV speakers (for my wife) and headphones (for me as I am hard of hearing). The TV instructions specifically state that it is possible to play the sound through the audio jack and the TV speakers. Not true 🙁 We solved this problem by buying a TV Soundbar. If it wasn’t for this one defect, we would have rated it 5 stars.

First off, the TV is a great deal for the price. It has a very nice picture and good sound quality. I did have to tone down the back light a bit, I purchased it for a bedroom and it’s perfect for a second room TV. I tend to like a bigger high quality TV for my primary viewing. In regards to the Fire TV integration, it works well with some quirks. For instance, when ever I turn it on, the cursor position controls don’t work. Everything else kind of does. So I find I need to hit the prime video button to get full remote functionality. I believe this is a Fire TV software bug and will hopefully be resolved by an update in the future. Also, if you are familiar with the Fire Stick interface you will find this interface to be somewhat different. Some of the Fire Stick setting menus do not exist, so things like checking to see if an update of the software is available cannot be done. You can’t even determine when it last was updated. I guess you just have to trust the TV and Amazon to do those things in the background. It’s definitely a learning experience, and I have to admit, I like the FireStick menus better. (I have a FireSick MAX 4K by the way)Update: I rebooted the TV with a cold reboot (unplug AC, wait a bit, plugin) After the restart I had a current FireTV interface, and full function remote. So now I go with a full recommend.

So far I like the TV better then the other one I had…was (about 5y old). Picture and sound is better, much better..the only thing I dislike is, it was a pain to get set up and that you have to navigate to many buttons to get to certain settings all that back n fourth should be in one place or a couple.. I’d return it, but cost to much to do so.. and those black sides that are on top and bottom, are not possible to remove..I’d like to have a whole picture when watching a movie…it’s a full picture with a commercial..I tried everything to make them go away. Alexa can’t help, she doesn’t know how..Nothing worked..with my other TV the settings were easy, simple to make that changes… oh well? Update: Took a haf a day just to get to know the remote 🙃 maybe it’s because I’m not that good with technical stuff im almost 65 😁 well!I now love the TV 💓 I figured out my own way to make the TV Controller work for me… maybe it will help you too? See picture! If it wasn’t for the Remote Control 🙄 I’d give it 5* are you listening “INSIGNIA” 😊 Thank you!

Simple setup. Great picture. Biggest issues are that the remote kept doing some update thing, I’d get a notification on the TV that the remote software was being updated about 15 or 20 times throughout the day. Really annoying. I reached out to Best Buy, who told me to call Insignia. I spoke to someone (probably in the Philippines) who, after explaining the issue over and over again, told me that the remote doesn’t have software and that wouldn’t happen. 🙄 It happened very very rarely with my previous tv which is the exact same brand, so I know it was a thing and was an issue with this remote. Eventually I got them to send me a new remote and it’s been fine and hasn’t done that once with the new one. However, the Alexa button won’t work on this new one. It tells me to hit “ok” on the original remote in order to use the voice feature on the new one, but it always just says there was an error and to try again. I’ve done it dozens of times at this point to no avail, so I’ve given up and just have to type to search for stuff.I also can’t get any Bluetooth headphones to pair with this TV. I have a pair of over-the-ear headphones as well as two pairs of earbuds and none will pair. The best I’ve been able to get it to do is pair the over-the-ear pair by sticking them behind the TV, and they’ll pair, but the moment I get more than 2 feet or so away from the tv, the pairing fails. So that kinda sucks and idk if there’s anything I can do to remedy that issue.Lastly, and this is the thing that worries me the most, every so often, the screen will flash with a green matrix-looking overlay. It happens so quickly that at first I thought it was happening in the video I was watching, but I’d rewind it and it wouldn’t be there. It happens regardless of the app I’m using (YouTube, Disney+, Amazon video, etc.) and I’m worried that after the warranty expires it’ll happen and not go away. I’m not about to attempt to return this behemoth though. I live on the 3rd floor and I was lucky enough that the Best Buy delivery dude brought it up the stairs foe me (I gave him 20 bucks to thank him). I’d never be able to get this thing back down the stairs myself and would have no way to transport it anywhere even if I could. So hopefully it doesn’t die on me in a few months. I’m just chalking it up to “you get what you pay for” since it was so inexpensive for this size.

So I’ve had tvs handed down given to me or a couple I bought or traded for . But this is the first that has (1) smart capabilities and (2) Alexa remote -voice control-. My first ever tv was the old hand mevdown black and white TV. So I do believe that I have gone a step ahead from that back in early 90s . All the siblings had that as there first TV. Damn durable too, and I was the youngest I hot it last. And now I see just where our tech has gone since I was a kid less that 30 yrs ago.Currently watching: star wars clone wars animated series.Love this TV so much as all at a click of a button

The old 42″ TV was on the fritz so I remembered this brand, and the price looked too good to pass up with a size upgrade to 55″. The old TV cost ten times the price 17 years ago. I was not going to use any smart features or wireless internet, just the HDMI inputs and other inputs. Apple TV and cable box straight in and it’s done. Even used the old TV wall mount. The unit is very lightweight, whereas the old one weighs 80 pounds. This screen is bigger, and more efficient. The picture adjustments using the remote are simple and and can be customized for a decent picture. The extra resolution is nice and although the contrast and hard sharpness of a plasma is hard to beat, this is more than adequate with no downsides. I even hooked up the 1977 Atari 2600 so it was the largest Atari screen I’ve ever played on. Bonus, the sound is fine for using the built in speakers without having to resort to an extra level of complexity for top tier sound reproduction. Whenever I want the option for theater grade sound, the 1/8″ stereo jack on the side outputs to the surround receiver, but more often than not it’s not even needed, and low volume settings from the built-in sound is impressive. I already have 3 different Alexas in the house that are never plugged in, so I won’t be turning that on either. Really glad to see that Soap Opera Mode does not seem to be included or the default on this unit, as that is highly disturbing even though most people are oblivious to it.

Edit: hardwired the tv and works well. I have 1G internet so i dont feel it should be hardwired to have decent performance but you get what you pay for. The tv is only 15 feet from the routerFirst time Im returning a TV. Its ok for all the basics but for me, the ability to watch sports on peacock and also cast are the most important. Airplay doesnt work and mirroring takes too long to connect. And then tthe picture quality is an issue. I have gigabit internet as well. Peacock is basically unusable on the TV.

It does it’s job specially for that price. It’s a lot better than what I had before its nice and slim and picture quality is okay. So far it’s been a couple of months and still works fine. Only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because it’s not true 4K. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice and clean but just not 4K. But like I said it’s worth for the buck and I’m really happy with my 55 inch purchase.

I got really lucky as I needed a TV now when my 9 year old non-smart tv went. It’s only been a few weeks so the smart TV is making me feel REALLY dumb but I’m sure I’ll get it at some point.Great picture.Very quiet volume at 100%!Thankfully, I have a soundbar that also stopped working about 1 week prior to the tv but found a $7.00 cord to be a cheap fix.I’d love to share more of what this tv does but I have no idea yet!I’m happy with my purchase and that’s all that matters…to me anyway!I’m sure once I figure out how to use it, my rating will be 5 stars.

The TV has an great picture. Keep in mind when you purchase a fireTV or rokuTV or one the is attached to a streaming service, is that when you turn it on, the TV gravitates to that streaming service first, not to cable, satillite or over-the-air TV, so you will have to select a different input each time you turn on the TV. That is why the TV is less expensive that a TV that isn’t attached to a streaming service. The only other problem I had is with Best Buy. They sold this exact TV for $20 cheaper the following week after I had purchased it. They had no interest in answering my email, other than saying that I could return it, less a $58 restocking fee.

. Not much of a tv person so I’ve had a hand me down 30” for five years before upgrading this weekend. It’s a perfect size for a small bedroom and I was able to fit the box in a Honda Fit and carry it myself. Set up was easy and I love all the convenience of built in Alexa and the screen and sound quality is way better than expected. Very happy about the purchase.

let me start off by saying, I was hesitant to buy this, because of the low price point… For $220, how good could it be? But after reading the reviews, I decided to make the leap.My first impressions of this TV are just WOW. The picture, is crystal clear, the sound is pretty good (I wouldn’t say the most clear, but it doesn’t deserve a knock for this, considering it’s only a $200 tv.). Overall the TV is very light, and I was able to wallmount this TV with ease, by myself. The picture is absolutely crystal clear, and I COULDN’T be happier!!Would highly recommend this TV for someone who want’s a new TV, but doesn’t want to pay over $400 for a new one.
