I bought a battery per instructions and it works great. Easy to use. Even actuates electric brakes. I used it to test my enclosed trailer turn signals. So I replace both and they now test perfect. Even tests the 12V from vehicle to trailer, it lights up the break away controller battery charger on the trailer. Well worth the money.

I spent over 200.00 on this for my job and when it came it was not working properly so I called the company and now I have to pay to send it in to them and have it repaired never mind the fact that it has never been used it has been hooked up to 2 trailers that’s it but it needs repairs and I’m out a diagnostic tool I need for work after paying over 200.00. What a joke

I use this for my mobile trailer repair business. Is a real time saver. This makes the trailer light, brake, brake-away system inspection so fast, I offer this as part of my standard safety inspection instead of making it a separate item. I work in a fleet maintenance shop and we maintain roughly 50 trailers yearly. This tool works great in the short time I have had it. I did purchase a Milwaukee 12v adapter and wired it in with a 2 flat pigtail for quick disconnect capabilities, also weighs alot less than the battery these are designed for. I definitely suggest getting this if you work on trailers.

This tools make it so easy to check trailer lights and brakes. Plug it up and turn a switch, that’s it. No more backing the truck up and then replacing fuses in the truck just to check trailer lights. It is also helpful in diagnosing if the truck or the trailer is the problem. Worth the money, especially if you work solo like I do.

I bought a 18 ft equipment trailer and had to rewire the whole trailer new wiring lights the whole nine yards and then testing it was a breeze with the ranger worked great just the battery they said that goes in it on Amazon website is completely wrong the top won’t close with that battery in it it’s the wrong size battery it’s too big
