    Bought because I knew we we getting to where we would need a new one.. the old one did run out of ink about 3 weeks later, popped the new on in and THERE WAS NO INK IN IT! SPENT 60 dollars on n empty ink cartridges! Will never buy off AMAZON AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

    Printer requires HP cartridges. Cheaper After market cartridges may or may not work. You can almost buy a new printer for what 2 cartridges cost. HP cost is probably a few dollars so nice business for them.

While HP makes it difficult to use generic brands the results I get with HP cartridge’s justify my decision to opt for this trusted brand.
