Purchased this tape to use in a tabletop greenhouse because a lot of other people with small greenhouses use it to hold up cords or whatever. It works fine in the greenhouse with 80% humidity, but doesn’t work anywhere else around my house! I’m using it to hold cords or to stick a light switch (like those little rocker ones) to a surface and forget about it – it doesn’t hold for more than a couple of hours at most. Very disappointing from a brand that prides itself on its strength.

I used it to secure a plastic board, which is used a a security camera mounting point, to a brick wall.I even tried to remove after sticking it on, as it was too thin but gave up when I saw how well it was holding.I then used it to secure some solar lights to the same brick wall.It holds really well, but the tape is not a sticky mess itself, so it is relatively easy to handle (hold it by the sides).

You would think that tape is just tape, but clear acrylic mounting tape is truly legions ahead of the foam version. I’ve tried both, and while the foam one works, the clear one is way more versatile.Pros of acrylic:* Strong adhesion, enough to adhere posters, wall accessories, and the like* Easy to remove, comes off in one piece which is really important when you have an apartment or only want it to be temporary* Clear color. Helps to hide it if you aren’t just directly covering it* Holds better in hot weather. I’ve used this to keep cables from moving in my car and this stuff sticks better when it’s hot compared to the foam ones* Way more waterproof than foam. I use it to mount a sponge holder and it’s been great.* Lasts way longer than foam. I’ve kept both inside a dry and cool drawer and I found that the foam one eventually loses its stickiness when just lying around. I won’t fault the foam version too much since I’ve had it for a year or so inside the drawer, but the acrylic one stays sticky.Cons of acrylic:* More expensive per foot/meter. Not really an issue for me since I only use it sparingly, but might be a deal breaker for others.* Foam versions usually have a higher weight limit. If you are mounting heavier objects, you might need to buy foam versions instead.* Peeling and cutting is a pain. Scissors love to not cut properly from my experience and the film they use to prevent it from sticking to each other is unbelievably frustrating if you clipped your nails recently.I love using this for posters, sticking cables onto the wall (which is a budget way of cable management, don’t judge), and mounting things like hooks and a sponge holder.

I wish it was a little cheaper, and tha it held onto different surfaces a little bit better but I use this tape for everything in almost every project I have it involves it somehow. t is a great two sided tape especially if you fold it in half. Highly recommend over a lot of those other mounting tapes you will not be disappointed

Strong tape, long, lasting adhesive happy with the purchase

I am using Siri to write this, so sorry for any strange or words that are simply messed up :-). I bought this because being low vision I need to stick things to tables, walls, chairs, etc. and then not have a move. I have one other double face tape, and I never seem to have the strength of this stuff has. From the first day I used it it’s been very helpful and convenient. I have attached one of my remote controls to the side of the table so I can find it readily when I need it. It also seems to be stuck on there but not stuck on there forever that it looks like I will be able to peel it off when it comes time to change the batteries I’ve used another things around the house want to hold the power strip to the wall behind my coffee pot etc. and it all seems to be very helpful and good I’m very pleased with it I’ll order more. I hope you enjoyed my review.

Love this product and it is easy to use. The only downside is that you need to store this in a clean place because it will collect dust and it will start to look nasty. Good amount of tape!

Holy glue stick this stuff is sticky.I used it on puck lights that had 3 AA batteries so they are heavy. Cutting it was interesting. Kept sticking to my scissors. I felt like i was in a Abbott and Costello skit. Moved onto a knife. Good stuff

Use it to stick a cloth banner to brick. Worked wonderfully

I used this to mount a paper towel holder on the cabinet underneath my sink. I accidentally placed this to high the first time into low the second time so I actually had to take this off. Fortunately I was able to remove the paper towel holder without damaging the cabinet both times. On the third try I position this perfectly. We have been using the paper towel holder now for a couple of weeks. The tape is holding great. I have no concerns about the strength. I plan to use this on other applications. I was very happy with the quality. Highly recommend.

day!. i used this to put up decoration for a school performance and it saved my life!! It very sticky and holds up heavy weight papers! curious to know how well it comes off the walls, or if it will ever come off haha

m. I used this stripes to glue these little drawers to my desk and so far they have hold on to it. easy to apply. So far the drawers are sturdy

ch something forever. I used these to attach my wall panels but there was a whole wall full of panels and only One of me – you know what I mean? Although these are offering Incredible Hulk like hold (think once you attach something it stays forever, offers INSTANT hold so you can’t really make a mistake or slide things around like with hot glue). So for my purposes this didn’t work out as there was a lot of cutting and measuring Involved – however if you have a smaller project this is PERFECT. 100% secure. But for my wall panels the hot glue fit a lot better since the wall is so huge and my time on this earth is not unlimited 🙂 Meaning, all the cutting, removing of the back film, and attaching is a very tedious process that takes a lot of patience and dedication. I still highly recommend these for a small job, very good choice, NO toxic smell, just a secure hold and no Gaps anywhere! Great choice and will Highly recommend.

thick for my needs. The tape works as expected. And I am not disappointed in the thickness however I was hoping it would have not been as thick when applied.I used the tape to hold down some Lego baseplates. I KNEW it would still leave a gap because nothing works!Problem is the baseplates have holes on the underside and the way they are made makes it so you need a thicker tape to make the connection. Buut this one left me with a bit of a gap between the baseplte and my display surface.So it is back to the drawing board.Nice tape tho.

is… In 5 billion years, when the sun expands and swallows the Earth….this tape will still be holding whatever you attached to it.
