Great tape. Waterproof. Thick tape. Great quality. And durable.

This tape was a nice transparent type of tape. It seemed pretty flexible and had a nice amount of thickness to it. I am sure this will be great like most gorilla products. The only reason I gave this a 4 is that i was hoping to use this to patch a blow up raft and I was hoping this would be incredibly sticky to the point it would almost merge with the viny and make an air tight seal. Now I am sure it will work as a field repair, but it was not the most tacky tape I have ever used like the double stick mounting tapes etc. So i worry that it might not last the longest if I like over inflate the raft…..which everyone does…

I bought this primarily as a back-up since I’ve been using a lot of (comparatively expensive) aluminum repair tape to keep my car’s rear bumper stable pending a trip to the local auto-body shop. While I cannot yet vouch for its effectiveness on its own at doing that, I’ve applied a few pieces where the existing tape has begun to come loose (to protect those weak spots from the elements, mostly) and it’s been working well over my past few day-long gig-driving sessions. That speaks well for the quality of the tape, and I imagine if I were to remove all of the aluminum tape and replace it with Gorilla, the only functional difference would be that it is see-through.I quite like this tape and will certainly remember it the next time I need something heavy-duty like this.

I used this strong clear tape to make an invisible patch on a couple of window screens until we could repair the screens. This tape worked great, meaning it adhered firmly and for a long time, and has also worked well for several other repairs around the house.

I got this to use on a shower rod, so water resistance was important. We had one shower rod that kept coming apart, when we moved the shower curtains. This tape holds the 2 pieces together and prevents it from coming apart and falling into the bathtub. It has stayed on even when it got wet. Since it is clear, it works well on my gold shower rod. I imagine I will find lots of uses for it.

I have a sign on the front of my house, attached to bricks…in a seaside neighborhood with high humidity…and two short pieces of Gorilla tape have held it there for nearly a year now…with no signs of stopping any time soon.I broke a hinge piece off a cabinet in my bathroom. I taped it together with this…and it as worked without a hitch for a few years.Seriously….don’t buy all of it….leave some for me to refill my stash!

It seems like a really good product. Being that it is the gorilla brand and you were paying for a name you get less than you might with some other off namebrand. Honestly, I’m not sure if you could get something else is good at a better price. I would buy this again if I didn’t find something else, but I will try another brand next time

I have a conflicted relationship with Gorilla products, they are either great, above average for what they are or they make a mess but there’s enough good products in the brand that I keep trying.I have a whole in one of my dog food containers. It’s a PVC soft container that collapses for size. I tried to repair it with PVC glue and it did not work so I decided to give this a try.Problem solved. I did use a lot and overlapped on the inside and outside but that’s just because I didn’t want food dust to get into the layers.This tape is good. Easy to pull, easy to cut and great adhesion.

I got this to tape up the box where bees were getting in, after rehoming the bees. It works well.

Clear Duct tape! I was afraid that it would be like packing tape instead, however, I was pleasantly surprised! I have to use the duct tape in conjunction with salicylic acid for a plantar wart 🫣🥹😭…and this clear tape is WAY LESS NOTICABLE!! ❤️😍❣️

I used the clear duct tape to fix my new Samsung fridge plastic fridge door shelf. I tried to force another bottle into the shelf and it cracked. The cracks extended the entire length and up the side of the shelf. I looked at getting a replacement but it was over $170 from Samsung and over $70 on Amazon….for a piece of plastic! The duct tape was my first option. The duct tape was easy to put on the shelf and easy to remove when I applied it slightly off. It cut easily with scissors, but I feel I could have torn it if I wanted, The install was more like applying packing tape, but with the strength of duct tape. I reinstalled the shelf and put all everything back in the shelf and it is holding up great.

Tried many clear tapes on my fabric covered LP boxes (which I also bought through Amazon). This stuff worked by far the best…super clear and sticky even on difficult surfaces such as fabric.

It does grip and stick and so far seems durable.

I bought this tape because it was clear and I wanted to put some laminated signs up. The tape has held up in the heat and the rain (in Florida, though we’re having a heatwave all across the US at the moment) and has not even begun to peel up in a month and a half so far. Additionally, the window regulator in my car door went out, so the window would not go up again once I put it down. I had to manually pull the window up to keep rain out, but while driving, the window would drop down 1/4″ to 1/2″ every time I hit a bump in the road. After putting another brand of silver duct tape on on the window, while at someone else’s house (just to get me home that night), I woke up the next morning to find tape residue all over the window and the tape lifting up. So… I pulled out this clear gorilla tape and retaped the window until I could get it to the mechanic the next week. This gorilla tape held beautifully!!! The window didn’t budge, I didn’t get any moisture build up under the tape or in the car (like I did with the previous duct tape), and that window didn’t budge a millimeter before I got it to the mechanic for repair. It was also a bonus that the tape was clear so that I could see when pulling into traffic or changing lanes while driving. So, this is going to be a staple in my tool kit for outdoor repairs, redneck car repairs, and any other projects requiring a strong adhesion in the elements. I cannot say this tape is easy to remove, but for what I wanted it for, I didn’t want a tape that was easy to remove and this did not disappoint!

I have an attic crawlspace, and I covered it with a special type of plastic. Nothing I used would keep this plastic in place until I tried this tape. I only had to use one layer and the plastic has not moved nor have any bugs been able to get through. as you know, an attic can get hot, but this tape still stays in place.

Our car mirror ran into the garage door and broke some of the sides off! All the pieces went back together fine and this tape is keeping them there. There is no such thing as replacement parts or even repair. All you can do is buy a new one and it really isn’t worth that. So far the tape is the perfect solution.

This product arrived super fast. It was perfect for the job we did. We had to replace a shade/wind guard on one of our car doors.

Used this to fix the hood on my riding mower. Just GOOD tape. Period.
