The product does help with the sag and for keeping my truck level. The installation was easy. I did not have a right angle impact. It would have made it easier. My truck natural sits higher, so I was able to do the install without jacking or wheel removal. But you will need to remove your spare tire and the heat shield for more space to run your air hoses.

This is my second set of Ride-rite air bags. I had them on my first truck and loved them and when I got a new truck, it was one of my first purchases. Quality product and a relatively simple and straight-forward do it yourself installation. Highly recommend them!

Firestone airbags are great. Unfortunately when I got my kit, it was lacking the airline.I did not want to do a full return, so I just went down to the local auto parts store and purchased my own air line to finish the job.

osed to do. This works great but I took it to a shop to have it installed. This is my nephew’s shop and he did the work and I know he is honest. It took him 3 hours to install. No way could a DYIer do it in 2 hours. And he didn’t count the time he spent reading the instructions. The typing is not as easy to run as they say as you have to be careful not to get it in the way of anything. Otherwise I am very happy with it. I can easily adjust the height of my truck bed and it actually rides better since I had the bags installed. They are very heave duty and I expect many years of use out of them.

nicely. After we got the correct RideRite kit that we ordered they work great, especially when we are pulling our trailer. The problem is that we have a set that we can not use or return😬, because they sent us the ones for an older pickup☹️

Now that they are on my truck, I love them. Much more stability when towing. If you plan on installing them yourself like I did without a lift, you might think about purchasing a ratcheting wrench set because almost every nut is very difficult to get to, and a socket won’t get to almost any of them once it’s in place to tighten down. That aside, they are fantastic.

I’ve used Firestone bags before on different vehicles with success. I tried a different brand and although installation was easier, it didn’t align properly. I sent back and went with Firestones again. Install seemed straight forward, but fitment on late model GM trucks is not easy. There were a few weld seams interfering with bracket alignment and even a spot on the rear passenger shock mount on the axle that had to have material cut off in order to fit the air bag mounting brackets. It can be done, but pre-check factory welds on upper mounting locations and on the shock/axle bracket mounts BEFORE you start. Taking care of these minor issues will save you time/energy from having to take it on/off numerous times. Once it was final fitted, it performs as advertised and I am pleased with the outcome.

I bought Firestone air bags like this 21 years ago for my F-250 and had no problems all these years. Now my son has the truck with over 250k miles.Took about 2 hours to install these on my 2017 GMC 2500GD Denali. Had to move both right and left emergency brake cables off to the side. Other than that, they fit great.

The system works great and is great quality. The only thing I didn’t like was the tee connection at the pressure gauge, it should be a slip quick connect fitting instead of barb fitting without clamps, this fitting leaks and I could not get it to stop leaking. A leak is a leak, the system looses air.

This kit fit perfectly and was ordered short notice before a trip with heavy trailer and another in tow (Trippel). The Prime showed delivery with just enough time to install before our trip but delivery service slow tracked the item. I made a simple request to seller to see if it could be expedited. Seller canceled original order and had one overnighted to my house, way above and beyond my expectations. Install (one person, me) took 4 hours could have been done in 3 if I had read the instructions a little closer. Best haul in heavy 60mph cross winds I have ever had, great product and best service I have ever seen!!! thanks to the people at Frenza!!!!!!
