Right off I was blown away. I have come accustomed to cheap crap…..but these are NOT. I used them to center the front of my boat on recovery. I installed them with wider opening and angle them in for a close fit towards my bow roller. It allows me to solo hit the roller every time in all conditions. Since installation, I have recovered my boat over 15 times in the past month. I highly recommend these to any solo fisherman and their trailer.

Extremely sturdy and well constructed. It installs well with two people doing it. Instructions are clear and you can easily adjust the width of the bunks to the supports to fit your boat. Exceptionally strong and easy to adjust. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

My 16 foot big fisherman aluminum boat I had to modify brackets to trailer due to width of boat. Took a sledge hammer but it worked. Second time loading brackets bent

A warning about the fit: the dimensions listed on the main page on Amazon are: “Product Dimensions: 20 x 16.5 x 2.4 inches.” You can only get to the real dimensions if you click for extra pictures and then down to the 12th picture. They are only 8″ wide.Unfortunately, Amazon charges over $20 to return them, even with Prime. I had to mount them in reverse, and then fashion a bracket extender with extra hardware… but it cost $26 and time I could have spent doing something else. Looking at the other reviews, most people had to modify it in some way to make it fit.Now that it is set up, it works well and is sturdy (for now). However, the metal on the brackets is low quality, and there are tiny cracks visible all over. I doubt these will hold up long in saltwater, even when rinsed regularly.UPDATE: customer service offered a replacement of a different part that will offer a better fit. I am thankful that they were willing to help get me set up and solve my problem rather than just sell product. I would buy from this Extreme Max again.
