This product is great for year round use, but I find that I absolutely NEED it in the winter. The cold air really tears up my skin, to the point of feeling raw and burnt. My skin is dry, extremely sensitive, can be acne prone, and has some dark spots/hyper pigmentation. I have tried simple products (CeraVe) and extremely expensive ones (Bio. recherche) but this product by far is better than anything I have put on my face. It leaves my skin feeling soothed, soft, and calm. There is no smell which is great and doesn’t make my extremely sensitive skin break out! I also used it while on Isotrentinon and it was a life saver for my dry and itchy skin. To be honest, it is 1000x better than CeraVe (although CeraVe is wonderful too). If you are on the fence about this just buy it, you won’t regret your purchase.

I got a sample of the face sunscreen, and I generally do not like sunscreen face creams. It became my favorite moisturizer in the time it took to use up the sample. That’s when I began shopping this brand of high quality, high results products.I bought this Renewal Barrier Complex for my daily moisturizer and I am impressed and happy.It is non greasy, absorbs almost immediately, and is not too thick a base of moisture before foundation application. I have aging skin, and too much product on my face settles and accentuates fine lines and wrinkles. I need the first layer to sink in and leave my skin soft but not dewy.This lightweight but powerful cream checks all of the boxes.It really has improved my skin and my fine lines are diminished with daily use.I am ready to try the whole line.Abandon the astronomical costs of “high end designer brands” and give this skincare line a try.

This moisturizer is amazing! Not only does it make my skin glow, it also has repaired damage from acne spots that I thought I would have to pay much more money to have repaired. Pretty disappointed in the product. I know the brand is pretty good and my mom with mature skin loves their tinted sunscreens. I got this when I was having some barrier sensitivity issues. Since it’s advertised for sensitive skin and barrier repair I was bummed to find that it stung my skin a little. I thought maybe my barrier was too damaged so I waited to use it again until it had healed more. The next few times I used it I also experienced the same irritated feeling. Not sure if I’m allergic to something in the product or what, but was very disappointed that something marketed for irritated sensitive skin made it worse.

my face Elta MD refused to provide any service. Their Sunscreen is the best but very very disappointed in this product. It left bumps all over my skin that took me several trip for professional treatment to get rid of. I was very upset indeed. Called company directly that initially sent me to Amazon for the purchase as they were out of stock. They would not anything to make it right. Refused to allow me to talk to upper management. Next time I’m going to stop in at the Addison lab to tell them how sad their service is. They spend at LOT of marketing $ to Derms office then could care less about an existing customer that buys products monthly. Wow very sad!

if you are starting a strong retinol. I just started going hard on a medical grade retinol. My face was red and sensitive. I did my research looking for a “calming cream” to pair with the retinol at night. So, after looking at several medical grade creams I decided to try this. When I got it I immediately opened it to put on my burning face. Instantly this soothed the irritation, and felt comfortable. Im sold this stuff works, and the price is good too.

I bought this in January and I recently rediscovered it and finished the bottle. I had really bad, tretinoin -damaged acne prone but otherwise soft skin. I used it every morning and every night, and within three days, I’d say, my skin was so much better.There is an immediate difference in your skin that you’ll notice after putting it on. it made my skin plump, healthy, it aided discoloration and patchiness, and totally fixed the surface layers of skin, which had been pretty badly damaged.CONS: this lotion is expensive, and it’s from amazon. If you want to splurge on this product and have great skin, then I’d suggest buying it from Bluemercury or ulta, just because you never know with Amazon sellers. I bought mine from this seller / this website, and I had no problems at all, but I wouldn’t risk $58 on a product that *might* be fake. Also, I personally did not mind the smell at all, but the moment you pump it onto your hand, there is a weird fishy-ish odor that went away as soon as it was rubbed into skin. Again, I did not mind the smell at all, but after I rubbed in the lotion I insisted that my friend sniff my hand, and she was viscerally repulsed.I’m not buying this lotion again because I’m trying a different skincare line, but if it doesn’t work there is a very good chance I’ll find this product again.

I’m in my late 40’s and have decided to age naturally and gracefully, but if I can slow down lines and wrinkles with my lotion, why not. I’ve used Elta MD products for several years (AM & PM lotions, Foaming Facial Cleanser and another of their cleansers periodically). I decided to pair Barrier Renewal Complex with their toner to see if I could further improve my skin’s condition and appearance. I’m a bit of a skeptic on these kinds of things normally, so I didn’t go into it with high expectations. That said, I do notice a bit of improvement with visibility of lines. Also, my skin feels so soft, and has more of a natural glow to it.The only disadvantage of this lotion is that it does seem to cause more sensitivity to sun exposure (the product information warns of this). So, I have to try and remember not to apply it on mornings when I expect to be outside for a meaningful amount of time.I gave the smell 4 stars instead of 5 because I wouldn’t say it smells good, though it doesn’t smell bad either.

tive skin!. I am 36 with fair/sensitive skin and my man is 48 with medium/dry skin. We both take good care of our skin. I ordered this product after a day we were outside for a long time and both accidentally got a light burn on our faces. I happened to find this product and ordered it with same day delivery. We both put it on that night. The next morning the burn was almost completely not visible. After the second night use, the following morning we both had dead skin peeling with beautiful moisturized skin revealing underneath. I understand that this product might not specifically be for sunburn skin, but it is a good example of how well this product works on different ages, skin tones, and types. I am very pleasantly surprised with the results of this product and would recommend it to others as well as purchase from this product line again.

I’ve been using this for a few months and it’s changed my skin for the better! A little goes a long way. Mostly my pores…I don’t even use primer anymore because my skin texture is on par! I bought this 8 months ago and I am loving it thus far! I started getting really oily all of a sudden with my old moisturizer so I switched. My skin feels smoother and I don’t get as oily anymore.
