The floss is thinner, and I wasn’t sure these would work or not break. They are perfect! The thinner floss is strong enough that none have broken as of yet (a few months), and it also gets deeper into my teeth/gums to get stuck food particles out. It is disturbing to brush teeth and still have food stuck between, but my teeth are more “tight.” I feel like these really work.

I noticed the only negative in a big list of positives (according to the overall review page of this) is these are too thin. It’s funny how we are more prone to decide to write reviews when something is bad than good. And I’m no exception since I only chose to write this good review because I also purchased bad floss picks from a different amazon store. The string from those was thick. And that results in the picks being torn apart! You only appreciate good picks like these after you compare them to the bad ones! I had no complaints with these and 1 pick can easily cover my full set of teeth! Unlike the other set I bought recently that made me use 2 to 4…So my advice just from experience: Do keep in mind when picking picks both rating and count and not just count per price alone. Since picks will actually be more expensive if they are used up faster afterall…edit: ironically I can’t write the bad review for the other product like I planned since I can’t find it in my history. I either picked those up locally or the product was discontinued (figures)

I replaced my regular dental floss with this. The floss does most of the cleaning a lot easier. The handle comes with a special design which can help “grinding” off the harder remains. Because they are thin and sharp, the handles can reach tiny spaces.

My teeth are very tightly fitted together (orthodontics) and other floss picks were too weak to clean more than more one and a half times through, on average. Unfortunately, these DenTek, only work about two times through so don’t add much durability. In addition, like the other brands I tried, these also experience some shredding of the floss on each use reducing the cleaning ability after the first go ’round. However, the major problem I experienced was the “pick”. Contrary to what some others do, this one does not provide protection for the user’s hand. I sometimes struggle using these and not poking my hand when wrestling to remove the flosser from between my teeth. I even drew blood from a poke when reaching to grab one from the pocket in which they are carried. Regardless, these last longer than others I have used, although I’m somewhat frustrated that the floss shreds when being used. 8/9/24: Forgot to mention–sometimes the tip of the “pick” breaks off (1/8 inch) and I find it floating around in my mouth. Don’t think I’ve swallowed one yet, but who knows.

I’ve generally always used the Plackers brand because that’s usually what’s available in stores near me so in comparison to those, the floss on these seems better. It doesn’t fray as much during use. And the toothpick end seems MUCH more functional, however, I think because it’s thinner and pointier it makes it far more difficult to grip, particularly when flossing between teeth that are tighter together. So that’s my only reason for 4 stars. They work well but I plan to try a different brand when these run out purely for that reason.

I have had a hard time finding floss picks that don’t break after going between a couple of teeth. These did well. My only gripe is that I wish the floss was a bit thicker. I would repurchase if they weren’t now in the Fresh Amazon rather than regular Amazon.

I used Plackers for a long time before doing some research and finding these – the Plackers were a little harsh on my teeth, but these are perfect. The floss line is really, really thin, which really helps you to get in between your teeth, but more so to be able to actually go up and down the sides of each tooth as well. I also love the “minty” flavor they’re coated with, you can actually feel it. If you tend to have more sensitive gums or have a hard time flossing, I recommend going with these, 10/10 – I will be using these from now on!

I go through floss picks like crazy. I have very tight teeth so the issues have either been it takes me 3 – 4 picks to get through a floss because the string stretches beyond use, or there’s not enough coating on the string and I get myself into a situation where the pick gets stuck and I almost have to tell myself that a floss pick in my teeth is just how I have to live now.These picks are amazing. There was a tiny bit of fray after I got through 3 or 4 back teeth so I was ready for the break. It never happened. The fray didn’t get any worse, the string didn’t stretch, and it was thin with just enough coating that I got through an entire floss with only 1 pick.

Getting 150 of these flosser picks for $3.51 is a steal. A lot of people are saying they break easily but that hasn’t been the case for me. I just tried to break one between my teeth and couldn’t do it. I’m sure if I chew on it I can break it but that’s not how a flosser is used
