I got this despite the reviews and regret it after the damage it caused to my baseboard from the canvas that fell. I’m just glad it wasn’t glass. You can tell it won’t work the minute you peel off the paper that covers the adhesive part. It does not feel sticky at all. The picture did not last on the wall. A huge waste of money and time. Save yourself the trouble and go pay for the real stuff at the store.

I used these strips to hang 2 glass picture frames (approx 20”x30” and 8 pounds each) on a painted cement (dorm) wall. I used 5 strips per picture frame. 3 at the top and 2 at the bottom. Maybe I Used more than I needed, but I didn’t want him to fall on the bed. I’m impressed how secure the frames feel on the wall. No problem and it’s been a month. Hoping for no damage when removed in April.

Worked to hold up 2 large pictures and a very heavy wooden mirror. They are super functional, I had to remove one and you just pull the adhesive flush with the wall to seperate without taking away any paint. The application was easy, removal was easy and I couldn’t be happier!

I bought these to hang a somewhat heavy mirror on a door. I had some apprehension at first that this would not work as I didn’t want any hardware on the new bedroom door but once the Velcro strips were attached it does not budge and I can enjoy the mirror in a convenient place without worrying it’s going to fall. Once ordered the command strips were at my house in 2 days .so convenient.

I was skeptical when these weren’t in the retail package, but I was hopeful that they would still work as I was using them to hang lightweight paintings. I used four sets on each painting. The larger painting started hanging loosely immediately, so I added more command strips. The smaller one lasted for a day, then went crashing to the floor. Fortunately, neither was damaged. Neither of these paintings weigh even five pounds. So, either I didn’t receive the correct strips or they don’t hold the weight that they claim.

Used these for a diy mirror wall and they hold up perfect. The mirrors aren’t sliding, not falling, ect. Fyi, if you plan on trying this, take the paper off the parts of the back of the mirror that you’ll be putting these on. That’s why peoples mirrors are falling, cuz over time, the paper pulls off the back of mirror and rips. Put these directly on the back of the frame with no paper backing between it.

These are excellent for hanging Anything on the wall. Pictured is my very heavy, mother of pearl art. It’s 4 separate pieces and I used 4 strips on each. Super easy to use and I was able to do it alone. I also like that if it wasn’t perfectly straight I could try again without starting over or leaving marks on the wall.When we moved, all the picture frames in my house large and small were hung by these strips. I was able to take them off with no issues and the wall was unblemished. 100% recommend!

I’ve purchased and repurchased these like… 7 times. I only use the XL 20lb ones, because those are the ones that work best for what I use em for – hanging shelves with delicate materials on them, and canvas paintings. And they work fantastic!! The velcro (?) that sticks the strips to themselves is very strong, and they remove easily and cleanly when done right, though be careful with the snap back if you’re pulling hard, I whacked myself in the face doing this.That being said, my only complaint is the adhesive. It adheres to MOST things well, once cured, but I had a little trouble with some of my shelves. Once or twice the adhesive just wouldn’t stick to the wood. I won’t lie to you, I love these so much that I simply gorilla glued the strips to the wood, and because the Velcro(?) is so strong, it hasn’t failed since.

Perfect on flat surfaces and walls. Make sure to clean the areas you’re applying this to for best adhesion and let it set for a couple hours if you want it to hold well. Great alternative to drilling holes for things such as key holder, paintings, mirrors, etc…

I had high hopes for the Command 20 Lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The main issue I encountered was that the strips simply didn’t adhere well to the wall. The adhesive seemed lacking, and it resulted in some of my picture frames falling off. This caused frustration and damage to my frames, which was disappointing.I followed the instructions meticulously, cleaned the surface, and ensured I applied the right pressure, but the strips just didn’t hold up to their promised weight capacity. It’s frustrating to invest in a product that falls short of its claims.I hope this review serves as honest feedback to both potential buyers and the manufacturer and perhaps improvements can be made to enhance the adhesive quality.My return window has been closed and I really didn’t have a chance to use it right after purchasing it and Amazon cannot offer return options again.I will never use this manufacturer’s products again. Bad Experience and the product is not worth your money.
