Was just about out of toner and ordered this Brother cartridge. Removed the old toner and installed this cartridge and works great.

these are cheap for a laser printer and last well over a year.

I last bought this in 2020, it is almost October of 2024 and I just started getting alerts that it was low. That’s pretty good. No idea how many pages were printed but it was a lot.

I gave up on cheap after market toner. I used cheap aftermarket inks in my old ink jet printer, so I thought I could get away with in in my Brother HL-L2300D. The cheap aftermarket toner left smudges on my print outs and was noticeably weaker in darkness than the Brother toner. If you can afford this toner, but it. It’s much less of a hassle than having to deal with cleaning out your drum due to ink staining. The toner comes sealed air tight in a heavy aluminum bag and is packaged to avoid damage in transit. High quality overall.

I have used the same toner cartridge for my Brother printer for many years and it lasts a long time. It is easy to change. I have not had any problem with this for at least the last eight years that I’ve used this brand with the same printer.

Over the life of my Brother HL-L2340DW printer, I’ve tried two different highly-rated 3rd-party toner cartridges in an attempt to save a few bucks. Both times, I had poor adhesion, streaking, and smudges on the paper. On the most recent occasion, I thought the poor performance was due to normal wear and tear on the decade-old device, and was about to take my poor old printer to e-waste disposal… but recalling my previous experience, I decided to give it one last shot with a fresh Brother-branded cartridge–and suddenly, my printer was printing almost like new! I’m getting clean, clear prints with no smudging, and I couldn’t be happier. Yes, it’s more expensive than a no-name cartridge… but it’s cheaper than a new printer!

iginal. Some years ago we got tired of all the drama with inkjet printers so we took the plunge and got a Brother laser printer/scanner. We have NEVER had any issues with it, ever: built like a tank, does what it’s told, no drama, no fuss, always there. We always use the original Brother toner, just to keep on the safe side. Never had any issues at all.

rtridge. This is the Original Equipment Manufacturer toner cartridge for my new Brother laser printer. Computer hardware usually has a 360 day warranty. The last thing you need is to have a service failure due to using non OEM supplies while your printer is under warranty, and even after the warranty expires. Non OEM toner might have a different chemical formula than the OEM toner. It’s all about recourse and the replacement allowance you can negotiate with the printer manufacturer if your printer fails to work properly. Besides, Amazon order invoices are easy to download and save in a pdf format file. I have a small business, and I save every invoice or receipt that I can use to support a tax deduction anyway. Don’t you?

illing. When it comes to printer quality, it seems it’s all in the toner, and this product — while it has DOUBLED in price the last few years — consistently delivers good prints (no streaks, etc.) and a decent amount of them.

Relatively Lower Capacity For the Price. The Brother Toner cartridges are fairly low capacity. That is due to the model printer, but my concern is the price. They are quite expensive. On the other hand, the less expensive cartridges are often remanufactured, and I am not enthusiastic about those. These do produce good quality copies.

quality is good. Definitely more expensive to buy a genuine toner cartridge but so far we’ve been pleased.

r – Yes!. I only use Brother cartridges in my Brother printers and copier and have had ZERO issues in doing so. They may be a little more costly, but in the long run, I’m happy with no issues and no stress. Longevity depends somewhat on your machine’s Settings. I set mine for a little lower quality to extend the life of the cartridge.

ems, But Expensive. Printer ink is just expensive. Not much you can do about it. That is pretty much true of all printer ink. However, ignoring the expensive, this printer ink works very well. Does not smear. Consistent, professional pages. No problems or getting stuck.

d use with Brother DCP-L2540DW Printers. Bought my printer several years ago and have only replaced the cartridge once. I purchased the last one as a back up and it also lasted two years, and I’m still using it with the same printer. This is the best I’ve ever used, simple black toner, no more issues with color cartridges that waste half of the ink and cost a fortune. Happy with simplicity in printing documents and do not miss the colored ink types like Epsom printer cartridges that never used all of the ink and cost a fortune. I will purchase these again.

machine. Owned 3 ink-jet printers for our iPads. We print very few color prints and seemed like we needed new cartridges every few months. When the print dried up we had to not only buy the black cartridge but 4 color ones too. We threw away the ink-jets and got a Brother laser. We now get a new cartridge about every 2-3 years. Based on paper used we get about 2500 copies per cassette. We have gone to local copy center 2-3 times and paid $ .25 each for perhaps 10 copies of color. If you mostly print black and white go laser !
