Brita Elite Water Filter Replacements for Pitchers and Dispensers, BPA-Free, Reduces 99% of Lead, Lasts Six Months or 120 Gal

I took off a star because it looks like water is coming in around the sides of the filter & not just through the filter. Hate that. I did a ton of research to make sure I got the right one but I don’t think they’re making them like they used to. I’ve noticed at my friends places the water comes through the holes at the bottom & some others comes through the holes & the sides. This is an older version so I don’t think they’re supporting it anymore, they’re making filters for the newer versions. When I got this pitcher I bought a lot of filters for it. I see the difference between the older filters from that time & the filters they sell now. It doesn’t fit the same & the bottom of the filters are a little bit different so it doesn’t fit as snug & water leaks around the sides of the filters now. Hate that, defeats the purpose of the filter…

A friend had to convince me to buy an elite filter vs the standard ones. I didn’t want to spend the extra money, but I eventually caved. Definitely glad I did. They last longer and work better. So here I am, buying my next set of elite filters.

After receiving the first set of my filters, I filtered the filters 3x. The Brita that I use for room temperature water, the new filter was not filtering my water. I reached out to Brita and explained what was happening, that my water does not taste right. BRITA rep was wonderful and they sent me 2 of my replacements. Now my water taste like it should filtered. I’ve had Brita for 12yrs and these filters do the job as long as you follow directions. And it saves us money from buying bottled water at home.

Where I live, I have really hard tap water and don’t always want to deal with buying packs of plastic water bottles all the time (nor do I want to keep contributing to waste!). These filters fit great in my large pitcher and do a good job of filtering out harsh tastes from tap

The Brita Elite is the way to go, don’t bother with the knock-offs. Ours last over 6 months and we drink a lot of water. They are a little pricier but well worth it.

The Brita Elite filters for water pitchers filter more contaminants than their other filters do. I’ve broken the device on my pitcher that alerts me when it’s time to change the filter, so now I’ll rely on putting a note on my calendar to change the filter in 6 months. As the months go by, water passes through the filter more slowly then when it’s new, which is a sign of how much stuff it has trapped.

Once every 6 months is much nicer than once every month. Plus it’s much better for the environment. Throwing away 12 a year verses 2 is a huge difference! I also like that I can subscribe for it to come in every 6 months so I don’t have to keep track. It’s a great system!

I love these filters. They make the water taste deliciously clean. I can’t drink any other water except water filtered through this Brita Filter.

Brita Water filter does have it’s intangibles, such as purifying tap water into a more tasty and more refreshing water sample. I thought it would completely filter out the salt in my water since the landlords changed the water supply from a private water service to a well, but I guess that the Brita Water filter doesn’t filter out the salt from salty or sea water!

The Brita filter is a good package for regularly replacing the water filter as it works well for around 4 months. The water purification speed reduces after a month.

These filter more particulates, and last way longer than the original. Depending on how often you fill your water pitcher, you don’t need to replace them as often as indicated on the box; check that water still freely flows and taste stays the same. Most of the time, the changing light works best for reference… I just wish there was a less wasteful option.

So I have only had them for 2 months and so far so good with only one filter. We are a family of 7so we go through a lot of water but by far this filtered water taste the best. The price is good easy to use and the flow is fast! Depending on how long they last I may keeping getting them. It’s says 2 should last 1 year so every 6 months for 1. I may only get 4 months because of how we use them. The size is like the others and I just rinse them under the water for a bit before we use them.

Initially you fill the pitcher 3 times, discarding the filtered water before putting the filter into regular use. That took a while. But slow filtering means thorough filtering. I am very satisfied.

Our apartment’s water is FULL of iron and the water is disgusting. This filter has made our water great tasting and super clear. It has lasted 5 months so far, so definitely worth the money- I find it to be a better value than the basic Brita filters

Good price for 1 months use. Filters my water and I drink more water because it takes clean and fresh. I also like that the filter last so long because that means on only buying this product once and twice a year.

We really like this product! But I am very disappointed in how it was delivered-the box was all bent up and torn. Surely, Amazon, you can do better than that.

This filter is a must-have for Brita pitchers and dispensers. Easy to install, effortlessly drop into place. The quality of filtration is outstanding, providing crisp, clean-tasting water. Great value for the money as it lasts 6 months. Worth it over the basic filter model.

I have been using the Brita Water Pitcher Filtration for years. I investigated the longer lasting filter, for environmental reasons & longer filter life. The Brita Elite Filter is definitely superior to the standard white filter. My water tastes so much better. Unfortunately my tap water tastes terrible. The Brita Elite removes the chemical taste & provides clean, crisp water. This is a fairly new filter. I am hoping it lasts close to the 6 month time, as advertised. I know that depends on usage. So far, so good (great). I should have purchased the Brita Elite sooner, but never noticed them in the Warehouse clubs I belong to & never thought about a better filter.

Although they filter water through a bit slower than the standard type, it’s worth the wait! More impurities are filtered out and the water tastes much better. Plus, these filters last for 6 months instead of 2 with the regular ones. Once you do the math, you’ll find they are worth a bit more.

I used Brita water filters for a long time. I made the mistake of trying another brand and I was very glad to use the last one of them. I didn’t know that Brita had come up with a filter that would last for a six month period. I’m trying it for the first time but it’s a Brita and I’m not trying any other brand again. I’m feel confident that I will get good use from this water filter. My water tastes better, since I’ve switched back.
