Dental hygienist recommended this as a good option of choosing to go fluoride free – due to its special ingredients for enamel. Can’t speak to long term effects because just got it about a month ago – but the tube is nice, flavor is good, and it’s generally a nice toothpaste. Not particularly creamy or frothy. It’s light.

We recently switched to Boka and I wish we did it sooner. I can tell the difference in our teeth after switching to this toothpaste. Our teeth feel cleaner, it has helped with pain relief that I was having, it’s super easy for the kids to use and they enjoy the taste of it. The texture of the toothpaste is great as well, it’s not overbearing or gritty, it’s very smooth and nice. Overall our teeth feel much better and we will continue to use it.

Smells and taste really good but I haven’t seen much of a difference in the whitening of my teeth, can’t remember if it is whitening but it’s definitely a gentle and tasty toothpaste

I waited to leave a review until after I went to my annual cleaning. The hygienist was impressed by the lack of tartar on my teeth. She said there was very little. I told her what I was using, and she was interested for just the flavors alone. So far I have tried the mint, the lemon lavender and the cherry blossom. Every single one taste fantastic the first time I used this toothpaste it felt like I had been to the dentist with how clean my teeth felt. It works well for sensitive teeth. And I have noticed that my teeth are slowly whitening. Great product.I noticed that the kids flavors were orange cream, strawberry mango, and watermelon. I got them, and I intend to use them. 🙂

Having just got this, I can’t speak to its long-term effects such as restoring enamel. But I did want to leave a review so that people who are considering buying it would know what it tastes like. This is a very strong tasting mint. It’s probably the strongest tasting mint I’ve ever experienced, but it’s not unpleasant. The toothpaste itself is a white glistening pasty type of substance. It’s not a gel like some toothpastes. I’ve been brushing with it for a few days now and my teeth do feel clean when I’m finished. I want to use this for about a year and then go get my teeth checked to see if I no longer have a few tiny cavities. But at this point it certainly can’t hurt to try this.

At first I was put off by the thinner consistency of Boka toothpaste. I like the fresh, clean taste. My teeth feel clean. Best of all, after using a couple weeks I noticed my tooth sensitivity didn’t bother me like it will when using non sensitive teeth formula toothpastes.When on vacation I went back to my pre Boka big name brand toothpaste which tasted stale with a lingering chemical residue. I’ve continued to order this more natural toothpaste. Thanks for an effective, pleasant product without the excessive chemical additives.

I have been using this toothpaste for around a year now and it has made my teeth less sensitive, whiter and overall healthier. I really like the taste and texture of it and Ive grown to like that it doesn’t foam up.

I’ve been switching to “cleaner” products lately, and this is the only toothpaste I have found that is clean, but also actually makes my mouth feel clean afterwards. The mint flavor is so fresh and doesn’t taste artificial like every other toothpaste. I’ve been using this for a while now, and my teeth feel the best they have had in a long time.

I just bought this the other day and my kids like the taste. We have the lemon lavender and my 1 son says he could drink it…lol he’s the 1 I’ve been having alot of trouble getting to brush his teeth. My daughter is the only 1 so far who doesn’t care for the taste, but 1 out of 4 kids is doing pretty good in my book. I’ll buy another flavor for her to try next time. It does help that you don’t have to spit it out as well. Will come back and update my review in a few months on how well it works with the whitening and small cavity aspect of it.

I got wise to Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste, did some research and felt the Boka brand was for me. Well this stuff is great. The flavor is not too much, not too bland..just right. It doesn’t foam like nuts which is a change from “regular” toothpaste, but enough to coat your teeth very well. The most important thing is I’ve noticed less sensitivity and my teeth have somehow absorbed this stuff and you can literally see the tooth looking better. And, my teeth are smoother (??) and WHITER. New go to and it works. Remember to not rinse so the Hydroxyapatite can be absorbed by your teeth better.

I’ve been using this toothpaste for just over 2 weeks now and so far, I love it! It tastes good, foams great, and leaves my teeth feeling clean and healthy. I also believe I’m already seeing a little bit of brightening and whitening going on which is great! It has peppermint, spearmint, and wintergreen in it plus avocado and mango amongst other things. Fluoride free and seems to be of great quality! After years of trying “crunchy” natural pastes and even attempting to make own, I’m happy to have one that I truly feel works and foams! Oh how I missed the foam. Haha

Some of the best toothpaste I have used. My teeth feel cleaner than ever. Peppermint taste is mild and does not leave a burning feel like some strong peppermint toothpastes do. Have not used it long enough to notice it whitening effect. Will be purchasing again.

Love that it’s safe to use. Definitely whitens better than other toothpaste I’ve used. My mouth feels clean and the flavor is not strong. A looser toothpaste that’s doesn’t foam up but works so well

This would not last as long as a container of Crest, but I want to move away from fluoride. The flavor on this is just fine, and it seems to do a good job. Of course, It is more expensive than the ‘standard’ toothpastes you get at your local Walmart or drug store, but if you are ok with that, this is a good alternative IMHO.

Ingredients are much better for me than commercial toothpaste. Seems to Clean my teeth, not as much foam as commercial paste. Taste is ok, a bit pricey, will I buy it again? Maybe not.

Love Boka! Has a variety of different oral health benefits without the added flouride – as some people prefer not to use it. Been using the brand for over a year now and my teeth are as healthy as ever! Helps get a nice, fresh clean and definitely whitens teeth over time with continuous use. The cherry blossom flavor is great! So glad there is finally a flavor other than one with a mint base, that actually has a good flavor! I have receding gums and sensitive teeth. Some spots were so painful to have my teeth cleaned. I was on verge of having gum surgery last year bc of recession. My daughter gave me Boca toothpaste in my stocking for Christmas. She said it was natural and worked so well that dentists don’t really want people to know about it. 🙂 So I decided to run a test and use it until my next dental aptmt. First, the taste is mild and refreshing. No gritty stuff either. Had to get used to not rinsing my mouth after brushing but no biggy. I just went to dentist. I came clean about the toothpaste I was using. The hygienist looked it up and gave it the nod of approval with the caveat that I may still want to use fluoride toothpaste on occasion to help prevent decay. The cleaning process went beautifully. She was able to use the high power cleaner and I had NO pain. My recession had not changed one bit either! The dentist came in, looked at my mouth, and said “well, your mouth is boring”. I am thrilled! And feel so good I am using a natural product. Definitely try this for yourself!
