I recently started using kojic acid/turmeric soap (also from Amazon) to even out my hyperpigmentation, and sun protection is extremely important after using a soap that strong. This product blends in well, has a nice and mild scent (the scent was one of my biggest concerns, since I have to wear SPF 30 or higher every day, even indoors on sunny days). When I go to touch my face after it has dried and set in, I don’t feel any filmy residue. I was expecting to have to try more than one product, but thanks to the other reviews, this is the product I’m sticking with! My only ask would be to have an even larger bottle – but the 3oz was already larger than the 1.75oz quantities I was seeing in other brands.

I love this sunscreen. I’m sad it’s not readily available in my favorite stores anymore but happy to get it from Amazon. It’s lightweight, applies easily, and has a pleasant smell. It protects my fair skin from sunburn when I apply and reapply every 90-120 minutes at the pool. I’ve been using it for years and will continue to use it as long as it’s available.

I love that this is moisturizer AND sunscreen in one. Since I moisturize every day, there’s no need to decide whether to use sunscreen. It’s ALWAYS a sunscreen day.I was freaked when I was unable to purchase this product on Amazon for delivery to Maui, or anywhere IRL in Maui. I thought Aveeno had stopped making it. But it seems, it’s just no longer sold there because someone determined it’s unsafe for the reefs. I guess. I don’t know who determines that, or who decides I can’t buy a something because I might go in the ocean with it on, etc. But I’m back on the mainland and just ordered a bunch. In case.

This product will prevent you getting tanned at all, but it also makes you look like a bit like Caspar the Ghost. Even after being out in the sun at the beach for hours (not in the water), when I got home my head and face were somewhat pale looking from the lotion. The lotion leaves a whitish dry coating on your skin for several hours, which just needs to be washed off with soap and water. The product definitely works to prevent sun burn (or even a slight tan). I won’t be using this product unless I plan to get no sun at all on certain patches of skin. I have a rare skin disorder called porokeratosis on my forearms, so I use this product on my forearms to help alleviate triggering it.

i just want to say based in other reviews i thought the burning when i got it in my eyes would be horrible, but its actually not bad at ALL. yes its uncomfortable but i rub my eyes and touch my face a ton and it this product really is a stand-out in terms of burning the crap out of my eyeballs upon contact like other chemical sunscreens are known to do. if youre afraid of any discomfort at ALL, dont buy the product, but if you know that many chemical sunscreens hurt like hell when you get them in your eyes, this one is great bc it is really shockingly mild and gentle.

I have used so many sunscreens in the past, but I keep going back to this one. I have sensitive and acne prone skin. This sunscreen is so lightweight, and has a very thin, watery texture that is so easy to rub into my skin. There is no white cast for me personally, although I do have fair skin so there’s that. Overall, I would give this sunscreen a try if you’re looking for a great light weight- sensitive friendly sunscreen.

Wonderful product! Found it from some beauty blogs for darker skin and it really does not leave a white cast. It blends in like I’m putting regular skin lotion on. It takes longer than normal lotion of course to blend in though but thats obvious. It smells nice and subtle and does not smell clinical at all which I like. I’ve read online that 30 SPF is all you need because any higher spf only provides like 0.1% protection increments or something to an already high 90% UV protection while making your body absorb more chemicals. As with any sunscreen for dark skin people, I still get darker if I’m fully exposed to the sun but at least the sunscreen prevents skin damage and aging so sunscreen for dark skin is really recommended! The oil and cream parts will separate in the tube when left on its own (aka just sitting in my bag) so give it a good shake before applying!

Very affective at keeping you from getting too much sun. Even at SPF 30 it is enough to do the job and cleans off easily, unlike a higher dose lotion. Have been using it for years with never a problem. It’s just a bit expensive, but worth it.
