I bought this to protect the paint on my car so that the issued license plate didn’t rub or ding the finish. It was easy to install, fit the state license plate perfectly, and has held up very well so far. I like that it is black silicone so that it blends in nicely and should be solid enough to hold up over time.

Overall it was pretty easy to install. Comes with a spudger which helps with getting the license plate installed in the frame. Took about 5-10 minutes to get both license plates in the frames.Had them installed for a few weeks now and everything is working well. If anything goes wrong in the future I’ll update this review.

Have been running these on my car for 3.5 years, no issues. I love the simple, clean look of these frames, and I LOVE that they keep my paint from scratches behind the plate.Just put these on my wife’s new car, this newer version seems to be of better quality – my old ones tore a little when inserting the plate with the tool. Love the look still, way better than a dealer’s cheap plastic ones.

This plate frame was such a good deal. It fits tight around a standard US state plate. In my opinion, it fits better than any vanity plate frame, looks good and won’t rust or rattle. Def worth the money! If you don’t have a statement to make or a favorite team, this one is no frills basic. Good job China!

As a FL native we have so many plates to choose from. Unfortunately the covers that we get are either marketing for the car seller or just outright ugly. These on the other are minimalist and cover the plate where it is needed. I am part time mechanic and do all sort of things so I ended up making 2 more holes for holding my wildlife plate. It’s perfect for any plate and will give you minimal look that you never thought of.

I didn’t realize how much it annoyed me whenever the trunk was shut. Our metal license plate made a loud vibrating noise and it was alarming. I thought of adding foam feet to my license plate or license plate holder and even settling for a license plate holder with 4 screws. I really like my current license plate holder so getting a different one was the last option.Then I came across this! Who knew? I originally got these because the dealer cover was rattling. This completely elliminated the rattling. I also like that it’s low profile. First bought these several years ago and they’re still good. I’ve put these on all our cars now.

The Silicone Plate Frame certainly lives up to its claim. It is weatherproof, durable, and street legal. I say that its “street legal” because in my State, your license plate requires two stickers on the left and right bottom side of the plate. I was relieved to discover that the frame does not obstruct these stickers at all. In addition, the frame was flexible enough for me not to require the use of the Flat Bar.

This set fit well over my state license plate and a fun front vanity plate for my car. I appreciated the included tool to get the edges around without cutting myself on the sides of the plates.The plate holder that I have in the front, however, only accommodates two screws. The silicone frame is strong enough to cause some bending of the plastic vanity plate without those final two screws to hold it down. The same is not happening with my metal state plate. Other than that, these are good frames and look nice.

I love how simple and clean these look! I had a black metal slim frame before these but got a new car and decided to try these out. I didn’t realize how much my previous metal frames rattled until I installed these. The silicone is great and doesn’t produce rattles. I’ve been using it for about 6 or 7 months now and there is no warping or deformation on these. Absolutely great quality!

As mentioned, I didn’t read it well and assumed it came with everything to replace an existing plate. It does NOT come with screws. It takes a bit of fussing to get on but it works fine. I did feel at some times I may be ripping the silicone but it never did rip and fit over nicely. It is a very thin cover and also does not cover a lot of the license plate ( a good thing). It probably covers about half of the edges compared to what my old one did which means the plate is much more visible and looks nicer.Great product!

I applied these to a black plate with a white border around it. The front lip covered the border completely on two sides, but left a bit of white exposed on the other two sides. Not a big issue, just annoying. Quality was good and install was easy enough.

So far so good. I worry about how it will handle long term exposure to weather, but so far it hasn’t retained water and I haven’t seen any discoloration from UV. Will update if anything changes after more substiantial time investment.The little plastic tool is mostly useless, would recommend just using a flathead screwdriver to get it onto your plates.

On one of our cars, the rear license plate was rattling it a bit while driving (don’t ask my how long it took to find THAT rattle – oye). Once I found it, I thought one of these silicone plate dealies would help solve the problem.It did, however the process of actually getting it ON the plate was a bit of a challenge. The kit does come with a tool that was supposed to help, but I found just man-handling it was easier. It does look cool once installed (the black border around the plate) and it did completely quiet the down the plate.All in all, job done, only 4 stars though. Sorry.

Was so happy to get rid of the dealer plates. These went on easy and I actually didn’t need the tool. My dealer plates came with black screws so it all looks great on the car with these new covers. These plates do not come with screws; which worked fine for me.
