I purchased the Apple brand even though more expensive, because I have had better experience with Apple than off brands. I frequently need to charge an iPhone and iPad at the same time and it is convenient to only need one electrical outlet. The devices seem to charge quickly.

Love that this charging brick compactly allows me to double up the cables. Great way to free up an outlet as my household is always expanding our electronic devices so outlet space is always limited (even with outlet extenders and surge protectors). The price is great since it was on sale. Yes I know I can buy an off-brand but I have never had an Apple brick stop working while I cannot say the same for the generic brands. I therefore feel the price is fair. I have one for myself and bought others for my family because I love how handy this is. Highly recommend this charger.

It’s reliable and fast. Still almost as expensive as other AAA brands like Anker that offers “all in one” (like magasafe, multi usb ports, lantern and power bank). But ain’t nothing more reliable than Apple charger. Wish someday sell an all in one charger.
