Anker is a sold name so you know you can trust them to be quality products. I needed these for my MacBook Pro because all it has are USB C ports and I still have some USB 3 cables that I need to use from time to time.Products are made of high quality materials and work as designed to work. There isn’t really much to say about them other than they do their job. I haven’t tested the data speeds of them but have no reason to believe they aren’t up to the listed specs.Nothing bad to say about them. Highly recommend.

New laptops are starting to omit the standard USBA connector in favor of more smaller USBC connectors. These adapters let you use your old USBA cables so you don’t need to buy new ones. Excellent quality and they work great. I haven’t tried it, but I suppose they might also work for OTG into Android or newer iPhone also.

When I upgraded my computer I was left seeking a way to connect my camera, keyboard, and mouse. My peripherals are all USB A and yet most new computers are mostly if not entirely USB C. These adapters did the trick. They worked the first time and were plug and play. There was no compatibility issue with the M3 MacBook Pro. The tiny indicator lights are a nice touch to show that there is connectivity.

I recently bought a computer that does not have USB-A ports. This is a time of transition for ports, and the common USB-A plugs are phasing out. However, I still have a number of tools (e.g., a SD Card reader) that have USB-A ports. This adapter allows use of those devices, until they are eventually replaced.

It’s a fairly simple device. It works great to connect an old hard drive using the old USB standard to my new MacBook Pro. It’s a lot more convenient than tracking down new cables to do the same thing. They should be fairly reliable since the adapter is so simple.

I’ve added these tiny adapters along with their reversing counterparts (USB-C to USB-A) to my travel kit so that I always have connectivity regardless of what kind of USB connectors are found in planes, rental cars, hotel rooms, etc.These work exactly as expected.There are less expensive alternatives, but I’ve found I can always count on Anker to produce quality solutions, whether cables, protocol adapters and hubs or AC adapters.

USB-C chargers are expensive, especially multi-port chargers! I have accumulated many chargers around the house over the years. They are all USB-A. These adapters are a perfect way to continue using my old chargers with my new USB-C devices. I don’t notice any overheating or faultiness with any of these so far (and I have had them for many months now).

From time to time, I’ve needed to connect a USB key to an iPad. For older Lightning iPads, you need the camera adapter. For the 5th-gen Air, you need USB-C to USB-A. This little adapter works great, and even includes a nice little LED indicator to let you know it is connected and working!

They work flawlessly with my Seagate USB 3.0 external hard drives. These adapters have an aluminum housing so it is made to last. The LED status indicator is helpful. I’m very happy with this USB-C to A converter! First off the packaging was amazing, I love how I didn’t have to cut or rip into the plastic part that is usually fully sealed within the cardboard for style of packaging. I can continue to re-use the packaging it came in and won’t have these dangling around in a junk drawer. They snap into my USB-C ports well and accept the USB drives that I use.Love this product, love the quality, I would highly recommend that you use this if you are looking for a reliable converter! I recently bought the C-to-A and the A-to-C adapters to keep on-hand since my new laptop only has C. These adapters work great, have a little white power light on them, and are NARROW so they don’t block access to the adjacent USB-C port on my computer. VERY happy with that. Speed is great too, I don’t have any accessories or storage that they can’t handle at full speed. I have an older set of adapters that are almost double the width of these and they were always blocking the adjacent port – will be giving those away to friends I think.
