Works great when I don’t have wifi in rural areas and don’t want to deal with getting the laptop and printer to communicate via hotspot.

I have about four different printers connected to my computer. One for letter sized paper, another for mailing labels, a 3d printer, and eventually a CNC. I have three desks for the cables to spread out like an octopus. I was a little worried about the cable being too long, but there are no noticeable problems and my printers work as the should.And now I can have everything spread out.Highly recommended!

This cable was used for a scanner in work. My it person told me what to order. I connected it to the scanner and network box and it works good but sometimes it does lose power and you have to unplug it to get it to work.

This cable would only work sporadically, or not at all sometimes. I assumed it was defective and returned it. I later discover that another similar 15′ cable also didn’t work. But . . . I noticed that any cable shorter than 15′ would work. I researched, did the math, and discovered that there’s a significant voltage drop on these long 15′ cables. So if your trying power a 5v DC USB device, it may not work. This is not fault of the cable manufacturer. Live and learn.

The Length of this cable is great for my purpose! I’m running this cable from an original Yamaha P-125 (not P-125a) digital piano to a powered hub, which connects to my audio interface and my iPad. This is strictly to use the Yamaha as a MIDI controller. In order to use the piano as a MIDI controller, the audio interface in the Yamaha P-125 requires power on the USB line.I’ve tested this cable as both a passive data cable and as a power source + data transmission signal carrier. This cable works well in either situation. I will add, for your equipment safety, most Hosts do NOT require power, they just transmit data. Be careful before applying power on the signal over this cable. The cable will carry the power just fine, but, if it’s not required you could damage your hardware.I recommend this cable and I’d buy it again.
