    A fair deal and when you don’t want to spend a lot, these are great. I hear that after 5 years, your old strips especially with surge protection, no longer actually protect. So I got these. Happy with purchase 👍👍

    If you just want a 6 outlet strip I mean they work. I have no idea about the surge protection. I would not buy them if you care about that all. Otherwise you can’t beat them.

    I myself have purchased over 5 sets of these simply because I wanted/needed more! These power strips look high quality in person and deliver! The cords are long enough to reach any spot you may need and it also has plenty of plug outlets. I am able to power just about everything in my entertainment room off of 2 of them. They have some decent weight to them as well which makes them stable enough to not slide around or even potentially be mounted. Don’t go wasting money on expensive power strips! These are a great deal

    Let’s be honest, surge protectors aren’t something we think about once we plug it in and whatever else is connected to.it is plugged in. But they work well. I have a TV, game console, and 2 lights hooked up to it. It hasn’t shown any signs of not being able to handle the the voltage needed to power all electronics. The USB ports are a plus and they come in handy in the guest bedroom in case anyone needs to charge they’re phone and doesn’t have a traditional wall outlet. The cord length is just fine. Not to long where I have a bunch of excess to manage but not long enough to move it far from the outlet.

    Wish I would have read the fine print a little closer. The cords are really short! I thought it said 6′ but not so. It would have more sense to put the on/off switch on the opposite end to make it more accessible. It works just fine and if it had a 6′ cord I would have given it 5 Stars!

    Some of the reviews are really scary. I had to test those strips before using them at home. I have also opened one of them. I can see the basic surge protection but it is good enough for what should be a protected home usage. The quality is good. I wish the cord was slightly longer. the plug is not flush. It would be nice… The price is very good! Recommended.

    When u have as many things as I do to plug in definitely useful and to receive 2 for the priceWorthwhile investment and it has it protects the devices plugged into it in case it overloads so it trips itself not harm whatever u have plugged in😉

    This is my review of Amazon Basics 6-Outlet Power StripsThe units (you get two) are sturdy, come in the color black, and allow you to plug in up to 6 items.It comes with surge protection, and a lighted on/off switch. The lighted switch is nice, because it lets you know the power strip is receiving power.I mounted one of them under the desk I use to make miniature dioramas, and since the power strip is upside-down, the plugs need to fit securely, and they do. It has a 2-foot (0.6 meter) cord with a grounded plug.If you are in need more outlets, this is a great product, at an excellent price.
