When you’re buying glue sticks for middle schoolers, you want as many as possible at the best possible price. These are perfect. They hold well, dry clear, and don’t make a whole lot of ‘strings’. The kids are happy, I’m happy.

ks are better for a very low heat gun. They melt fast, so you use more sticks and they cool off too fast. They can also get stuck in the gun. Lastly the adhesion does not stay at times. Would not buy this brand again.😟

we recently just about ran out of glue sticks, which we use for various craft projects. when i looked online and saw this, i couldn’t believe the value. not that i need 500 to 600 glue sticks, but the value was too great to not give it a try.originally, i was a bit concerned about the (diameter) size being reported at .28in because it seems the ‘standard’ is .27in. this turned out to be a non issue as we’ve used a few of the sticks in our glue gun and it fits with no problem.others have reported that the clarity of the glue was not good. i tested it out compared to the couple of glue sticks we had left. the result – these glue sticks were clearer than the ones we had, but these new sticks also exhibited a slight blue hue. not an issue for us since we mostly use hot glue to attach things together and not as an external design element
