I own a 2023 Kia Forte. It has wired Apple CarPlay capabilities. Or, it did. I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 16 Pro. No matter what cable I tried, I could not get CarPlay to work. The car has a USB-A end and the iPhone switched from Lightning to USB-C. After some research, I decided to try these cables and am happy to report that my Apple CarPlay is working again!

I have another USB to C adapter cable and it was not compatible with my Apple CarPlay. I did everything to troubleshoot, looking online, I went in my privacy settings in my phone and make sure everything was turned on, restarted my phone several times, went into my car, which is a 2018 Chevy Volt, made sure all the settings were on correctly. I did not have any issues before with my iPhone 12 Pro Max that I had, so I really didn’t think it was the car that was the issue. I was confused because the cable that I was using was charging my phone, but it wasn’t reading it when it was plugged into the USB port. However, this cable is compatible with my new iPhone 16plus. I use Apple CarPlay everyday to commute to work to be able to see how long the drive is, traffic, etc, to hear my text, to be able to respond… I know this is a very first world privileged comment, but I am grateful that this little nuisance that was in my life is now away with this cable!

Hopefully it stays working this well forever. The color is a light pink. The cord length is pretty short. The quality is good. I think the amount you het for the price is a great buy. Overall good purchase!
